New York in the A.M. {[PrIvAtE]}

"Good point." I told Kat. "I'm going to the bathroom if you guys need me." I got up and wlked to the bathroom. I went over to the sink and put water on my face. I looked in the mirror and saw an emposia. "Gods! Can't I just have one day without monsters!" I screamed.

"Later on that," I told Kat, hearing Izzy scream. I ran into the bathroom and stared stupidly at what I saw. A pretty girl with fire for hair was watching Izzy. What the heck? Was that a monster? Maybe I should have stayed behind to learn monster names... Stupid ADHD! Can I focus!? "Izzy!" I yelled.

I raced to the bathroom after Ally. I saw the Emposia and gulped. I took off my ring and it transformed into my sword. I pointed it in the direction of the flaming haired monster.

I heard an "Izzy!" and turned to look at Ally. This gave the emposia the chance to well... kill me. It lunged at me knocking me into the sinks. I rolled to the side, my arm throbbing. I rubbed my bracelets and they turned into knives. "You want some of this EMPOSIA!" I yelled as myy battle call. I charged the monster, hoping my friends were going to help too.

Izzy charged so I figured I should do my part. I lunged at the Emposia. "Trying to kill my friends is crossing the lines!" I yelled.

I ripped a shoelace out of my black converse as I grinned. It transformed into a sword. So ADHD that I laughed at a stupid transformation? Wow, I thought, even though I was still smiling. I lunged at the monster, but it rolled out of the way easily. I barely knew how to fight.

The monster dodged almost every swing I made. And any contact my blade made on her skin was practically harmless. She was clever, that's for sure. Sometimes I wish I was a daughter of Athena.

I charged at the monster. I tried to stab it, but it deflected my blow. I rolled out of the way as it tried to stab me. She screamed. I spun and managed to stab her. She growled, but didn't turn into dust. "WHY WON"T YOU DIE!"

I was staring to get really frustrated with this monster. "Mother of Posiedon! Die you pooface!" It's unfortunate that my threats sound like they're from some Disney movie. I thought as I jabbed at the monster again. She lunged at me. I manged to get a nice slice across her face, but all she did was step back.

I jumped towards it. I raised my blade and while it was focused on that, I kicked it's feet out from under it.

Ally brought the monster down. With one quick strike of my knife, I stabbed the monster in it's gut. She sccreamed and turned to dust. "THANK YOU!" I screamed. I slid down to the floor and looked at my arm. It looked okay. "I think we should have stayed."

I laughed as my sword turned back into a ring. I slid it back on my finger. "That," I said panting "probably would have been a good idea."

Aww! :( I missed a fight. Off swimming and stuff. Well I'm back now. Pretend my characters were in on that I guess cause it would have been stupid if they had just sat there. :/

"One day," I muttered. "Is all I ask for. Are you okay Izzy?"

"Why does this never happen on field trips?!" I yelled. "Do you guys want to go back? I'm ok with it if you do.

"Nah, think we should stay!" I grinned. "I like that adrenaline rush. And like, we have five of us. We can take one monster...right?"

"Yeah, I'm okay. Let's stay. I mean we all kinds knew that monsters would be all over us." I rubbed my two long knives and they turned back to bracelets. "I'm up for an adventure. Mall anyone?" So what if monsters attacked us, I'm with my friends.

"Yeah." I surprisingly agreed. "And like, how many monsters could we run into in one night?"

"Totally!" I yelled. "To dah mall!!!!" Milkshakes get Me a little crazy, I thought. Ad hyper. Very hyper.

"Okay," I said. "Let's go before a mortal calls the police or something. That would definitly be hard to explain to the authroities."I pulle the keys out of my pocket and we all started walking bam to the car.

I laughed. I stood up. "I think I hear American Eagle calling our names!" I joked.

I walked silently back to the car. All I could think about was how hard it was to kill that Emposia. Something wasn't right about that... I don't know what it was, but I just couldn't shake the feeling that something worse was going on here.

I saw that Kat was tense. I hugged her. "Lighten up! We are going to have a great time!" i got in the car, waiting to go to the mall.

"I need to get to Wet Seal or Forever 21," I sighed and stepped into the truck. If something else attacks, we were definite ready. "I haven't gotten new shoes sense April. I need flip flops and sandels that actually fit me!"

"Yeah, you're right! Sorry, I'm fine." I lied and got back in the car. I was probably just over-reacting. It was just a coincidence. I had to calm down.

I jumped into the backseat again. "So, what was that kind of monster? I never learned any names..."

"Emposia, Hecate made them I believe to be servants. Created from dark magic." I nodded feeling smart. I leaned back against the seat and closed my eyes, waiting for the mall.
