New York in the A.M. {[PrIvAtE]}

I drove the car that was filled with Kat, Kat number two, Ally, Izzy and me. It was a van that Izzy said she hid at camp, but I didn't really know how to react to that.

We were now driving along the highway and someone decided to cut me off. I started cursing out the window. My thought was, Like father Like daughter, but I didn't say that outloud.

"Woah." I said. "Road Rage~"

"So where are we going first?" I asked. I rolled down my window breathing in the New York scent. I loved the smell.
"Anyone hungry?"

"That settles it," I announced. "We are going to McDonalds."

I rolled onto the streets of Manhatten. It had been way to long. I rolled down my window. Gods this was perfect. I didn't even feel tired, which i normally did a 2 A.M. I drove through the streets of the City passing probably a million McDonalds but I wanted to go to one close to the mall I was thinking of. Finally, I figured out where we were and parked the car in the nearest parking garage.

I jumped out of the car and ran inside the resturant.
"I haven't had a hamburger since i was ten!" i got a lot of weird look from the people working their. Ahhhh, this place smelled like heaven.

(I'm back...finally). "Eh, had a burger like, a week ago. Too much fast food," I laughed, patting my stomach jokingly. I blinked. "Gosh, I wish I was like a daughter of Hypno or something. Maybe then I wouldn't be tired... Can they do that?"

I shrugged. "Those kids just sleep all day. I don't think that's a bad idea either. I need a hamburger, I need some fat on these legs," I joked. I dug out a ten from my wallet.

I turned off the car. Kat went inside making sure that the resturant knew that Izzy had money, cause Kat was carrying it. I started laughing. She is going to be in the news tomorrow, Young mysterious Girl terrorizes people in a local McDonalds claiming she hasn't had a hamburger sense she was ten. Too long for a head line? Oh well.

I got out of the car and answered Ally's question. "I think the Hypnos kids can pu you to sleep, can wake you up, and do a whole bunch of other things but mostly, they just sleep all day and night in their cabins. Kat, the daughter of Hermes, Likes messing with them and yelling their names into their cabin in the middle of the day. It's amusing to her."

I saw kat with my money. I laughed nervously.
"I knew that." i grabbed my money and got fries and a burger. I sat down. I started eating, waiting for my friends.

I ordered a cheese burger and Fries and a medium coke. Founta soda was always my favorite or coke that came in those glass bottles. That was good soda. Both Kat's ordered and sat down with us after Kat Jones payed.

"I just want to say," I said after taking a big bite from my cheese burger. "That this is probably the best cheeseburger I have ever had. And these fried are to die for!"

I laughed at bella. "Try not having fries and a burger for five year!" I teased. Before I knew it, I had finished my meal. I slurped my soda, waiting for my friends to finish.

"Have you ever left camp?" I asked taking a sip of my soda. "I mean, not even on field trips?" Kat had taken me on every sneek out she had. Well every one that I knew about. The last one we had was back in May, a long time ago if you asked me. I had been wondering when we would sneek out again.

I shook my head. "I don't go on the field trips. I guess we just have so many campers that people lose track of who went on a field trip and who didn't. I haven't been to the mall in a long time either. Or Starbucks." I has been in the real world once last year, to get a soccer ball that someone kicked super far. I don't think that counts though.

OOC: I'm back so I'm just going to awkwardly through myself into the conversation.

I sat at the table with nothing in front of. Being a vegetarian really sucks sometimes. "I've only been in a city one time." I said "I mean, before right now... obviously." I laughed and watched as the other girls ate their food.

I looked at Kat and saw that she wasn't eating. I frowned. "Aren't you hungry or something?" Then something clicked in my mind. "Are you a vegetarian?"

"Yep." I said proudly. "For about three years now." Just because my dad is the god of darkness doesn't mean I have to have a black heart. I laughed at my own thought.

I looked at Kat with my jaw open. "How do you do it? I could never go three years without meat!" I stared at he in amazment.

"Me neither," I said. I slurped up a milk shake and froze. "Brain freeeeeeze! Ow ow ow ow ow ow OWWW!"

"It's pretty easy when you have an extremely guilty conscious." I shrugged. "My whole life I couldn't eat a piece of meat without thinking 'Wow, this animal had a family and someone took it away from them and then slaughtered it. I could be eating some poor animals father, or son, or...' Yeah, you get the idea." I didn't want to gross them out or make them feel bad while she was eating. I giggled at Ally.

I started to laugh at Ally's brain freeze. Guess what I was doing when she was having her brain freeze? I was drinking my soda. I laughed so hard that my Dr.Pepper came out of my nose. "Owwww!" My nose burned from the inside.

I laughed at both of them. Glad I had no food or drinks to squirt out my nose or turn my brain into Alaska.

I grabbed a bunch of napkins and held them to my nose. "Okay, I'm not in the mood for food or drinks anymore. What about you guys?" My dang nose burned.

"I wasn't eating in the first place." I said shrugging.

"Me neither," I shrugged. I walked to the trashcan and tossed my milk shake. I looked around at the surrounding tables. I quickly turned around and hurried back.

I looked up at Ally. "Ummm, what was that? Why'd you rush back like that?" I started getting worried. I started playing with the ring on my left middle finger.
