Saving Emily (QUEST)

I really couldn't do much with my sword, so I say, "ανοιχτό!" quickly, and Ichthys quickly turns into my guitar-pick necklace, the chain still unbroken. I take the bag from my bed, reach in, and find a bow allowing with a quiver full of arrows. I get next to Katie and shoot blindly into the darkness, sure not to look at the car for any reason whatsoever. I'd rather not get turned into dust in a shady motel room. That would suck. "You keep me strong, Katie. Thank you," I say relatively coldly. I don't know why I was so irritated, but I try to keep myself happy that I was doing something useful.

Katie had really done it. The proof was in her arm. I get up, completely unscathed, before quickly take an arrow, muster as much heat as I can to it, and send it off in the direction where my almost-killer came from. "Ahh!" I heard in the distance. Katie, on the other hand, was bleeding. Bad. "It'll be okay. Oh gods, help us. You'll be fine." Without thinking, I rip out of much of it as I can, which must have been really painful. "Just let me try..."" I shut the window, arrows and weapons still beating down the glass, as I move her away from the cursed window. I tear off a piece of the bed sheet and wrap it around her arm in a minor attempt to soak up some blood.

I almost started crying with the pain but I held out and gritted my teeth remaining strong. "That was my good arm" I moan with pain and nudge my bag. "Bandages in there.. or were they in the car?" I said through gritted teeth and confusement.

I quickly grab her bag and pray that the bandages were in there. The ripped bed sheet was almost completely soaked, anyway. Thank the gods, there were some in there. I grab my own small bag and take out a small vial of rubbing alcohol. "It's gonna sting, okay?" The clear liquid seeps into her wound, and I use the opportunity to take out the bottom point of the arrow. Before I can make her even more uncomfortable, I wrap the bandage around her arm about four or five times and rip the end off. She'd be alright. Maybe.

I manage a bitter sweet laugh. "Thanks." I said feeling like i had almost teared out the carper through my enclenched fist. "How are we gonna get out of this one?"

OOC: We can't end this fight until Sunny posts. It would devastate him

"I don't know, but I don't think they're letting up." Bang! Bang! Clank! The sound or arrows and other weapons hitting the window didn't help the idea that we could be safe for much longer. The glass would break. "What if I go out and create a distraction? You can shoot from here, and they can get picked off easier."

"Out of everyone here your the least likely to go." I said determination on my face "Thats FINAL." I grimaced accidentally flexing my arm. "I'll go."

I clench my still-swollen side and try not to show my disgust with that idea. "But you're in worse condition than I am in! No way." But my pain enacts just as the right time, as if the gods were sending me a direct message to let her go. "Never mind, go. Fine." How do they expect me to help when I'm injured.

I had crouched behind a dresser, just listening to my sisters argue. I heard Ktie bellow in pain, and tried to unsheath my whip. The clasp was stuck, the magic inside it wasn't working. I still didnt dare look at them. "This can't be happening! I can't get my whip off of its belt clasp! Under the bed over there is my bow. i don't know if it's sheathed, but it's there. Can one of you slide it to me?" More arrows peirced the door, with no sign of letting up

I grasped the bow and strung a few arrows, and aiming at the door. "Katie, kick the door down." I knew she'd think I was crazy, but i didnt care. I didnt want my sisters in more danger then they need to be as demigods

After Katie commented on one being poisonous, I knew something was wrong. "Katie, stay awake. Lay down, and stay awake. You'll be okay. Just lay down and keep your eyes on me, okay?" An arrow landed right next to me, piercing into the bottom of my jacket, but I wasn't too worried at this point. The arrows were coming, but Katie could be dying. I try to get her into the safest place I could think of, the bathroom.

HAHA The bathroom I just cracked up... Cause.. Bathroom joke.. ahh nvm,

"No really I'm just a bit dizzy.." I told Alexia tossing one of my daggers through the doorway and hearing another scream of pain. BAM. Another arrow struck my calf and I went down on one knee. "Kay maybe you're right.." I said weakly

(wow. really Katie? haha I have those moments all the time!)

As the arrow sinks into her ankle, I curse out loud and rip out the arrow messily, wrapping a cheap towel around it to clot the blood and prevent too much infection. I close the bathroom door and leave her all of the towels. "Stay. HERE. If you move, we will all die." I pray to the gods that she will listen, but I didn't know if I could count on that.

Hearing her through the door, I grab the keys from on the bed and throw them to her in the bathroom. "Whatever you do, do NOT look at the car," I yell to my brother. I didn't know if he heard the conversation Katie and I had about it, but he had to be careful.

I didn't hear a word anyone had said. Not even Alexia's warning. I was busy firing aroows out of the doorway. I moved through the doorway, and outside the room. That's when the car exploded, the shock wave slamming me against the wall. I fell, badly hurt. I was barely consciious

With my eyes closed, I double over and hear screams and shrieks from outside. "Are you okay, Katie? SETH?" I open my eyes and find my brother also on the floor. "Are you okay, bro?" I never heard any hint that suggested he heeded my warning, so I was terrified that I'd have to plan another funeral soon. He seemed to be breathing...

"Ow..." I had a terrible headache time was slowed down, The E.S.S. (Emergency Sun System) had shone off the car. Now all we needed was some gas and we could get moving again. I tried moving only to have shooting pain through my shoulder and leg. "Help.." I managed..

I didn't come to at all, I just lay there motionless. Inside, I felt like my soul was being dragged into Hades' Realm, slowly. My body began to glow. Being the son of the sun, and having an over-active response to the sun, my body was reacting to the E.S.S. It was healing my spirit, and was keeping me alive, for now.
