I swim next to her and say, "I know where they are. But sometimes I have trouble remembering names. I always forget the name of the ram-thing."

" I'm more interested in the planets then stars though" I say

"Those are easy," I say pointing to each one and listing them off, "Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and... Saturn."

" I'm more into Biology then astronomy" I say

"oh?" I say simply. I continue swimming around the lake, looking up at the sky. Then diving beneath the water and keep swimming until I need to come up for air.

I float on my back and gaze up at the moon.

"You want to keep swimming?" I ask her, "or would you prefer to head back now?"

I don't say anything, I just keep swimming, enjoying the night and the buzz of the cicadas.

I smile watching him, wishing I could be as relaxed as he was.

I get out, dripping wet and sling my bag over my shoulder. I decided not to get dressed yet, that would just ruin my clothes. I would dry by the fire first. I scolded myself for not bringing a towel, but then I didn't know I would be swimming.

I take a deep breath and say " I guess I should spit it out while I can so here it goes, I think I may like you...." I look down at the ground looking embarassed, waiting for everything to go downhill

"good," I say, taking her hand again and walking back to the campsite.

"You either meant one of two things," I say in response to her unasked question, "both are simply conformation of feelings, either of friendship or adoration, both of which would be welcomed though the latter slightly more so."
