Holly was waiting down by the hill for Alex. She was nervous and excited. Grateful for the fact that her brother was waiting for them a ways down. So they would need to walk but, since she was with Alex she didn't care. Her only worry was if any monsters found them with her being a non fighter and all. Looking at the time she bit her bottom lip, rocking back and forth. It was almost ten fifteen now, and Alex was late.

Alex looked at his dark blue watch. He saw the hour and exclaimed in ancient Greek '' Νη τω Δία I am late...''. Alex wore his newest t-shirt, colored red, with a distinctive brand name on it. He also put black jeans and a black jacket. He was running towards Half - Blood Hill. When he got closer he saw a figure standing still there. '' That must be Holly...'' He thought. When he climbed up the Hill he confirmed her identity. She looked dazzling and her perfume was tickling Alex's nose. '' Sorry....to be... late... I couldn't ... find my key - chain... knife.'' he said while trying to breath from all the running across the Camp. He leaned forward and gave Holly a kiss. '' I had to make sure that there is not going to be an attack tonight'' he said pressing a button in the knives hilt unveiling a much bigger sword with golden hilt.'' I figured Aphrodite's children are not so font of weapons.'' Alex added while pressing the Ω button , returning the sword in its initial form and putting it in his jacket's pocket.

Holly smiled when she saw him, even in the moonlight he was cute. She was wearing a pair of black peep toe pumps,black skinny jeans, a purple-ish blouse, and a leather jacket. Returning his kiss she smiled happily." Alex bad news, my brother is about two miles from here. It's far as he's willing to go. Good news you look really really cute in the moonlight. " And I don't mind weapons, I just really hate fighting." Holly kissed him again before taking his hand. In her backpack which was resting over her left shoulder there were a few snacks, and a couple changes out outfits. Reaching over she took his hand. "Ready?" She asked, a slight shakiness to her voice, once again her nerves were catching up to her.

Alex laughed when she mentioned him being cute as good news. He felt her soft lips returning his kiss and her hand holding his. '' I doesn't matter. We will just walk and talk. So, how is your brother?'' Alex responded to the girl's statement while starting walking. The temperature was perfect no heat, no wind. Alex glanced at the stars for a couple of seconds noticing how romantic the night was. It was the first time in a long time he got out of the Camp. He raised his looks and stayed stunned at the awe- inspiring city of New York. He looked the area searching for her brother. The only thing he saw was something in the distance hard to recognize. It might be her brother. '' You look stunning tonight'' Alex commented.

"He's good, he's really happy I'm coming to visit." Holly snuggled up to Alex, holding his hand tight. She wouldn't want to be anywhere without Alex beside her. "Anyways, there's my brother.." she said pointing in the direction of the shadowy car. Walking over she smiled hugging her big brother when she was close enough. He was tall maybe six foot two inches, with deep green eyes and blonde hair. They didn't really look alike except for the shape of their eyes." Jacob, this is my boyfriend Alex." She said quietly, once more returning to Alex's side.

Alex got really nervous when they got close enough so her brother could see them. He had to make a good impression especially to her brother because he was the closest thing she had to a father. '' Hey! Nice to meet you'' Alex said extending his arm. He was even more nervous than before. He was thankful it was night because his face turned red. No he wished there would have been a breeze like the first time they met to take the heat out of Alex's face. He saw Holly returning to his side and held her hand a bit tightly.

Holly could see the color that filled his face. Whispering softly in his ear she said." Honey, calm down." Her brother looked at Alex's hand before taking it in his. Giving his hand a firm shake he pulled his hand back. Jacob was carefully watching them, though he didn't see the kiss. Leading them to the car he pointed to the back seat. Holly continued to hold Alex's hand. Jacob then spoke."So boy, you're the one my little sister's been speaking of. She's really fond of you. Did you know that?" He asked, followed by a laugh. Holly was blushing badly now while she curled up beside Alex. Her brother had mentioned going out to dinner.

Alex entered his girlfriend's brother's car. The seats were really comfortable and Alex lounged in them. He heard her brother talking about Holly's fondness of him. Alex listened to her brother laugh and joked '' Yeah, I think I noticed that!!!'' And then laughed himself. He leaned to Holly's ear and whispered '' Well he isn't bad at all''. He noticed all the lights, signs. In LA there were all that but there was mostly chaos. In NY all was so organized like a giant map. '' So, Jacob, Can I call you Jacob?? Do you know about... huh.. Holly???''

Jacob looked in the mirror." You can call me Jacob. And I do know what Holly is. Before I took her to camp, her mother came by only for a little while. So who are you the son of?" Jacob pulled up in front of Holly's favorite restaurant. Holly was blushing bad and nodded, when her brother wasn't looking she gave him a kiss. Waiting by the car Holly looked at her boyfriend.

Alex felt the car slowing down until it completely stopped. Alex saw Jacob pulling the handbrake and when he was not looking his responded the kiss Holly gave him. When they were all out of the car Alex saw a very well set up restaurant. He understood why it was Holly's favourite restsaurant. Soft music was coming from inside and every kind of smell was luring him in like a siren's song. '' I am the son of Athena. Goddess of Wisdom and Battle Strategy.'' Alex felt really cockish and proud everytime he said that and he felt like his mother was present. When he finished his sentence he looked at the top of the Empire State Building...

Holly looked up and sighed softly. She missed her mother sometimes. Taking his hand she pulled him inside the restaurant with her. Sitting quietly, she ordered a meat free pasta dish. Reaching over she squeezed his hand. Jacob leaned him inside and whispered that he needed to go do some work. So left leaving some cash and a credit card with them."Alex Jacob had to go, but he said we can do whatever we wanted. He left some cash and a credit card. Maybe we can go to the Empire State Building."

When the waiter came to take their order Alex said to him '' What she got...'' he said looked right at Holly. He enjoyed just looking at her face. It was almost divine. Before her brother could even order he stood up saying that he had some work stuff he had to take care of. He watched him reaching for his wallet from his jacket. Alex felt kind of embarrassed because he wanted to pay but the only money he had after entering camp half-blood was drachmas and he was pretty sure they didn't accept them here. Alex waved at Holly's brother and said goodbye. Then he faced Holly again and spoke '' This is our first date, isn't it?? It is turning out pretty good. We can't go to Empire State Building because we wouldn't want to bother the *coughing*gods*coughing* with something not important. Do you have another idea??''

Holly smiled while she looked at Alex. She could spend all her life looking into his eyes. Humming softly she then spoke. "Well we could go for a romantic carriage ride. And this is our first date." Holly stated blushing faintly. After some time their food arrived and she ate quietly.

'' The carriage ride sounds fun. Do you know where can we rent one because I am not from around New York???'' Alex asked because he didn't know nothing about this huge busy city. San Francisco was a lot different. Not to mention Los Angeles (again). The only things he knew about New York were basic stuff. Were the Statue of Liberty was, where Empire state Building was and some more. '' Holly, you never told me, are you from around here???'' Alex asked in order to learn more about his girlfriend. He assumed since her brother was living here, she used to live here too. He looked at the food that smelled good. Although he wasn't really hungry he started eating.

Holly smiled."Down near central park. And now I use to live in a small town near California." She smiled watching him quietly. Her eyes dancing in the candle light." I'm not going to lie, I'm not super hungry want to just pay and go?" She asked. Honestly she just wanted to be held by Alex on a carriage ride.

''Central Park... I think I know where that is...'' Alex said while standing up. He cqlled the waiter. Thae waiter waved for them to wait, Another waitress was coming of the kitchen. Looking them insisteadly. Then she came to their table taking the money that were matching the check. '' Huh... You're welcome...'' Alex commented sarcastically. She stopped for a second and Alex could swear that he heared a deep growl. It must have been the ADHD...
He took Holly's jacket and gave it to her. Taking her hand he started walking to the exit looking back only once for the waitress but she probably had gone in the kitchen... Instictively he touched his keychain knife , having his finger ready to push the Ω button.

Holly smiled nodding. Walking along side him she held his arm. She found herself a bit tense. Watching the waitress she moved outside quickly. She hated how she jumpy she felt. Softly whispering to Alex she asks. "You feel like you're being watched right?" She asked softly, Holly started biting her bottom lip.

'' Maybe... but it might be my idea...'' he said not believing it very much. He looked back when they exited the restaurant. The first thing he saw was the glowing sign. He tried to read the sign but the letters were jumping and finally formed something like ''Eth Demietraiianin''. His look then fell to the board writing the menu outside. He could read nothing but ''Ελληνικές Συνταγές''. ''Greek recipies then...'' and laughed. They reached Central Park and Alex saw a carriege empty. He took Holly's hand and crossed the road. He asked how much the ride was and the driver replied him. ''I can afford this..'' he thought while paying the driver his money. He climbed up and helped holly giving his hand.

Holly climbed up beside him. The night was a bit chilly so she cuddled up close. While the horse rode off she kept checking over her shoulder. Holly never felt so nervous when she was with Alex. But now she kind of did.

Alex saw the driver whipping the leashes to the horses. Then he felt the carriage moving as the horses moved themselves. Alex embraced Holly and leaned his head to hers. He kissed her , first in the cheek and then to the mouth. He enjoyed the ride. All the huge structures. Lights. The only thing that kinda ruined it was the chilling air that was hitting their faces. One moment they were riding on the road and on the other they felt a fierce bump and they were riding on a dirt road. '' Uhmm.... Excuse me this isn't the where we were supposed to go...''. Then the carriage stopped. The horses disappeared into black smoke before Alex's terrified eyes. The driver's face started disappearing too but instead of vanishing it broke. It literally broke. Leather wings took their place in his back , claws instead of nails and fangs instead of teeth. '' FUURRYYYYY!!!!'' Alex shouted. He leaned towards Holly to help her get out. He was going to go out himself but before they could do anything the monster turned the carriage all the way round,leaving Alex and the girl's foot trapped. The beast flew high and was making circles above their location. She wanted both of them to come out so she could enjoy a double meal...

Holly clung onto Alex. Fear filling her while she watched the furry. She hated fighting, and though she was grateful for her boyfriend being a fighter. She feared that she would be the reason if he was killed.

Alex heard the Fury growling and squawking from above. Her screech was so unworldly. He had to get out of there. He had to go save his girlfriend. If something happened to Holly... He gathered all his strength and pulled himself together trying to get out of the upwardly turned carriage. He smashed everything he found in front of him and finally resurfaced. He made eye contact with the big beast-bird. He didn't let her out of his site. He made a few step backwards until he reached Holly '' Are you ok??? I'll distract her and you run as fast as you can. Don't look back...'' Alex said and kissed Holly. He didn't wait for her answer and started running at the opposite side. The fury's eyes were stuck on Holly. Alex took a few rocks and started throwing them to the Fury while shouting '' Hey big , obese, flying chicken!!! Come ON!'' The final rock hit her hard in the back of her head and it was enough to get her attention. She turned around and her black, disqusting eyes met his. She started descending with an awful growl. Alex grabbed his key-chain knife and pressed the Ω in its hilt. His sword unveiled slicing the air with a beautiful and ''saving'' song. While she was close enough he rolled below the Fury and they both got a hit on each other. Alex's one was more fatal and the Fury dissapeared in the air into a sort of golden smoke. Afterwards the smell of sulfur was all over the air. The Fury gave Alex a great souvenir. A nasty cut was painting Alex's sleeve red. He stared at it and exclaimed ''Αναθεματισμένη...''. He looked around for Holly...

Holly returned his kiss. She never felt more afraid than she just did. Running she headed towards a small cluster of tree and hid inside the group. She was barefoot because she had to lose her pumps when she was running. When Holly no longer could hear the screeching she walked over to Alex. Before even noticing his cut she warped her arms around her boyfriend. Kissing him, her fingers curled into the front of his shirt while she stayed in that moment with him. Slowly pulled back she noticed his cut." Alex.... we should get back to camp and get that cut looked at." Holly said.

Alex saw Holly running towards him. He sighed from relief. '' Thank the gods '' he muttered and embraced Holly responding to her kiss. He felt her cuddling to him and proposing their return to Camp Half-blood. '' That's exactly what I thought. And don't worry about the cut. It's just a scratch. I'll ask from the cabin leader to give me some band - aids'' Alex finished a caught Holly's hand. '' I think it's close'' he added. He picked up his sword ans pressed the button. The song now was more quiet and resting, when the sword folded into the key -chain knife. He placed it deep in his jean's pocket. ''* Σ' ευχαριστώ...'' he whispered adressing to his sword. After about 20 minutes he saw a hill in front of them. '' Isn't that Half-Blood Hill?'' Alex asked.

Holly held onto his hand tightly while she walked. In her other hand were her shoes, walking quietly with him she smiled. Besides the furry attack she really enjoyed their first date. And couldn't wait for more to come. Almost skipping into camp she stopped under the tree and kissed him again. This time it was more lingering and loving and less hectic than the one before
