"If you want to be happy, be."

Whooping with glee, Wendy skipped up to the dentist's office building and stretched in an luxuriant and incredibly exaggerated way. "It has been forever since I left camp! How long has it been since you left camp, Erie?" She asked, bobbing her head enthusiastically and tapping her foot a little impatiently. "Not that I like the dentist but I appreciate any reason to get the heck out of camp once in a while." She prattled, looking back at Erie. Sometimes, she thought that she babbled a lot (some would say too much), but it wasn't like she was always like that, just around Erie and select others.

Well, she might be near as energetic around strangers if she was in a good mood, but otherwise, no. She was pretty confusing in that way. Blowing up her bangs, Wendy immediately combed her fingers through them again and crinkled her nose. "Have I ever ranted to you about how bothersome full bangs can be?"

seriously, get real and grow up, you know that I deserve better than that

    Eridian chuckled at the girl's excess of energy. As she babbled and continued to speak, he continued to walk towards the building. Turning towards the girl, he gripped her shoulders. His eyes glinted slightly as he spoke, "Listen, Wendy, you should probably calm down. People in here will give you odd looks and such, okay?" He waited for her reply, and looked down, laughing silently.

    "You know what, don't even answer that."     He had expected a smart comment from her, but just waved away her non-existent answer now. "Just do it, okay? Calm down." Eridian still knew that his effort was in vain, though. It was nearly impossible, in all forms of the word, for Wendy to remain calm.

"Calm down?" Wendy echoed, raising her eyebrows and flipping her hair pompously. "Oh puh-lease, darling! You know that they can't give weird looks to someone as fantabulous as moi." She raved, striking numerous poses before pausing in the last one for a moment longer and straightening up.

Scrunching up her nose, she nodded anyways. "Will do, boss. I'm just trying to lighten you up since you're going to get your wisdom teeth pulled today." She said, smiling angelically at him. "At least you'll be hopped up on pain-killers and such, though. But who knows what'll happen while you're hopped up on those? It will certainly be up to the person who you came with." She pointed out, shrugging, smile taking a turn for a more impish look.
