I smile at her and go up to a random tree, giving it a quick peck. the bark was rough against my lips. It was an odd dare but some people have a hard time coming up with things like that, especially on the spot. "Truth or dare," I ask her after I sit back down.

" Truth " I say, Hoping I wouldn't have to make up another dare, I just wasn't good at stuff like that, I was a lot better at truths though. I stifle a yawn. I rummage through my bag, pull out a a bottle of water, and take a quick sip. I put it back in my bag.

"truth," I say. I could get wanting to be noticed. I didn't share the feeling though. I naturally stood out, even among demigods. I didn't mind it, I didn't want to sink into the background, but neither did I want to do anything to stand out even more.

"What is your greatest fear," I ask her. Perhaps it was a bit too personal but I was curious. She was willing to go on a potentially life-threatening mission to get noticed, so she obviously wasn't afraid of dying.

"I don't," I say simply with finality in my voice. It was a suicide mission mine and a not-very-experienced-person with a dagger couldn't hope to survive for very long. I was going to protect her, but to do it I knew she could not follow me.
