"not now though," I say, "tomorrow maybe but for tonight, let us just enjoy the scenery."

" The forest is so pretty at night" I say stifling a yawn

"It is," I say simply as we get to the creek.

I sit down by the creek, running my fingers through the water

I sit down by the edge and watch the steady flow of the water. "The lake is nearby you know," I say, "fancy a swim?"

"Come on then," I say hopping up and extending my hand again to help her up.

I take his hand and stand up " So how long have you been at camp ? " I ask, as I start to walk

"First year," I say, "but I've been on my own for a while. It's a long story that would probably just depress you."

" well you have me interested now, so why don't you tell me " I say

"My parents were some of my grandfather's favorite children. They were the son of hepheastus and the daughter of ares. Their fathers favored them heavily... until they decided to marry. My grandparents thought of this as a disgrace. They grew angry at my parents, sent creatures after them in their anger. They fought them off easily though. They had me and raised me until I was 14 until they died. They taught me everything I know to prepare me. My grandparents hate me and have tried to kill me countless times. I had to go through a 2 year journey just to get here. My parents raised me in Greece so I had quite a journey." I tell her.

" thats horrible,if your parents could see you they'd be proud" I say

"I would hope so," I say, "but my grandparents still try to kill me. Almost succedded so many times. Have you ever even seen a kraken? I've had to fight one. Hardest fight of my life. Almost died, still have the scars." I say, "but let us move past that. We are almost to the lake."

" so are you a good swimmer, because i'd hate to make you look bad" I say

"I'm a great swimmer," I say, "maybe not the fastest but I'm at least a very strong swimmer."

" I'm the complete opposite, I'm a fast swimmer, but i'm not exactly a strong swimmer"I say

We arrive at the lake. "Don't worry we aren't competing or anything so you don't need to be very strong, or fast."

I take off my t-shirt and shorts, reavealing a swimsuit
" I love how the moonlight hits the water, it looks so pretty" I say

"I know," I say, "All these little things are why I used to love going camping, why I still do." I take off the long, black trenchcoat I always wear then I remove my kevlar vest and chainmail. I now stood in my boxers. I didn't exactly bring a swimsuit. I am prepared for anything but we had left fairly quickly so I had forgotten to grab it. I don't let this stop me though. I dive into the cold water and allow myself to adjust.

I stare at the water, " Is it cold " I ask

"A little, but you get used to it quickly," I call out to her as I tread water.

I close my eyes and dive in "I think its a refreshing type of cold" I say as I start to tread water.

"Yep," I say swimming closer, "So do you always wear a swimsuit underneath your clothes?"

I smile and decide to pursue that particular branch of conversation no further. I continue swimming. Doing the backstroke and looking up at the stars. "Stars are beautiful out here," I remark, "No pollution. Plus it's a clear, beautiful night. You know much astronomy? Can you point out any constellations?"
