Hero's in the making!

I pull away and look at the new monsters. "This is just..." "I know, I know," I say.

"Wow. Trinity, you can really pick 'em, can't you?" "Apparently so!" I smile.

I giggle. "Thanks." "Guess I'll help myself, then..."

I burst through a set of doors, sword out, looking... Well, I'm sure I didn't look so swell. 'Are there... Wow, there are people in here?' Shoving my glasses up the bridge of my nose a little, I looked around warily. 'Are you gonna try to kill us?'

I was following Perry, unsurprisingly. It wasn't as if I wouldn't, after all. Not if I was afraid of her getting hurt.
Peering around her shoulders, I waved vaguely. 'Uh, hi, Emeli. Nice to see you again.' When Perry cast me a sideways glance, I sighed. 'I met her recently. She's nice enough, so calm yourself.'

'You're positive she won't kill us?'

'Well, no. But I'm hoping.' I looked over at Emeli. 'You're not gonna kill us, are you?'

I grinned, nudging Perry. 'See? Non-killing!'

I rolled my eyes. 'Prat.'

Ignoring her, I directed my attention back at Emeli. 'No, I haven't. Hi, Trinity! I'm Donal Murphy, son of Apollo, and this here--'

'I can introduce myself! Gods, make us sound like we're joined at the hips, why don't you?' I elbowed him. 'Anyway, I'm Perry Jenkins, daughter of Hermes. Lovely to meet you, and you can ignore this idiot--he's a bit dense.'

'Am not!'

'Yes, you are, so kindly cut it out.'

I rolled my eyes, walking towards the group. 'So why are all of you down here?'
