I thought. I didn't know a lot of places to eat. I mostly ate inside of camp. "Um...We can get pizza? Is that good?" I said. I wasn't really in the mood for anything fancy. I also didn't know where else to eat.

"It'd be perfect," I said. I hadn't had pizza in years, and I never really gave any thought to food. But now that I was out of camp, and there were places all around, I though about how much food that I missed. Pizza, spaghetti, any type of pasta really. My diet usually consisted of steak and ribs. It reminded me of the Ranch.

When we walked inside the pizza parlor it wasn't really packed. Which was good because then our food would cook faster with no other orders. When it was our turn to order I didn't exactly know what I wanted to order. "I'll have a pepperoni slice please." I said. He then wrote it down on a notepad. "What do you want to order Arctos?" I asked.

It was very hard to decide what I wanted. There were so many choices, and I wasn't used to that. Would I get sausage, and maybe just cheese? There was ham, salami, almost any meat I could think of.

"Um..." I hesitated for a moment. "Two slices of... philly steak." I let out a breath as he wrote it down. Then he asked what we wanted to drink.

"One coke will be fine." I said. He wrote it down and then told we could sit down. I simply walked to a table and sat down while waiting for our food. It didn't actually take long. I took a small bite of the pizza and was satisfied. I thought it tasted really good when a thought popped into my head. "What would you do if we got married? I was just curious." I said.

I froze mid-chew. It recovered very quickly, so I doubt she saw it. I had never even thought of it. Well, what it would be like AFTER. Of course I thought of us getting married though. "Um..." I took another bite of pizza. "What do ya mean, what would I do?" I asked. "After, or... what d'ya mean?"

I was glad for the change of subject, and I took another bite of my pizza. I gave her a timid thumbs up, and swallowed. I hadn't noticed, but I was almost done with my second piece. I sighed, and crossed my arms over my chest, thinking just a bit.

I did a little nod of my head and continued eating. I was soon finished with my pizza. I was still hungry. What else could I eat? Soon the bill came and I took out my debit card. I put it next to the bill so the waiter could take it to pay for the pizza. "What do you want to do after this?" I asked.

I stood up. "Well, let's go exploring." I said. I laced my fingers with him and then took my debit card. Before I walked out the door I yelled, "Thanks for the pizza!" The pizza was actually the best I ever had. I had to come back here for pizza more often.

I was just a bit taller than Avalon, so I looked down into her eyes as we walked out of the pizza place. I didn't know what I expected tp find here in New York. Maybe... an aquarium? Or a really big store for shoes? I couldn't fathom what was in front of us, because all the stores seemed so fancy. Until I found something that caught my eye. I didn't know how it caught my eye, I was used to sights like that. But in New York, it seemed odd and out of place, like having a bright green cloud in the sky.

It was a huge, abandon warehouse, and I could hear the birds wings reverberating inside. It seemed full of oppertunities. There wasn't even a sign that said KEEP OUT, people just didn't go in. "What d'ya think of that?" I asked Avalon, pointing with my free hand to the warehouse.

I looked at the warehouse. It looked pretty fun to go in. "It looks like it deserves to be a haunted house for Halloween. Why?" I asked. I was curious why was there a big warehouse that was out of use in the middle of New York City?

I thought about it for a moment. What could possibly happen if I went inside? Could there be hellhound or a manticore? Only one way to find out. Go inside. "Um...sure." I said with a weary smile. I was a bit excited and a bit scared. I walked up to the door with Arctos. I looked inside. Safe. No manticores. No hellhounds. That was good, for now. I smiled.
