"Thank you for understanding the scariness of spiders." I heard a faint nervous laugh down the beach. "Did you hear that?" I asked Kat. I cocked my head to the side.

"I did actually," I muttered. "If it's a harpy," My sword flipped into my hands from my bracelet. I smiled. "I'm ready."

"No particular reason. It's just... I'm really shy. I didn't expect anyone to be down here. But there are people here and ummm... yeah." I said awkwardly.

I rubbed my bracelets and they turned into two long knives. I looked at Kat who was smiling. "Wanna check it out?" I asked Kat.

"Okay," I smiled. "I'm going to take you down there to meet my friend and her new friends, okay? That or you can stay here? They already know we are here anyway. I can here the, quite clearly. Kat thinks we are harpies and is ready to attack us. I say we go down there before she does, but first, I'm Bella, daughter of Athena, nice to meet you."

"Heck yes!" Kat answered. "Let's go."

I smiled. I slowly went down the beach to where the laughter was. I hope Kat was following. I saw the monster! It was...two girls.

"Sure," I say "I'm not really in the mood for being attacked." I laughed. "I'm Kat, daughter of Erebus. It's nice to meet you as well."

I smiled. "Okay, let's go," I walked out from behind the trees and out of the shadows with Kat.

"Aww!" I whined. "It's just Bella and some other girl. I was hoping to kill a monster tonight." I put my sword away and sat back down next to Ally.

I followed after her and smiled awkwardly at the other girls.
"Hi," I mumbled.

I looked at the girl who mumbled hi. Wow, she had blue yes. I want blue eyes. I waved at her.
"Hi, I'm Isabella daughter of Athena. Let Kat introduce herself. I'm sure she rather."

"Nice to meet you. I'm... also named Kat." I look down at the sand. "My dad's Erebus."

"Kat Jones," I said, "Daughter of Hermes, don't piss me off or bad things will happen."

Kat!" I exclaimed as Kat Jones put away her sword. "Well it looks like you two have something in common."

Now I know...one..two..four Kats! Aren't I lucky! I really hope they all don't en up in one place at one. I can see it now...

"Kat?" I would call. and four, "Yes?"s would come my way.

I frowned. "I'm sorry, I don't know who that is. Can you explain? There are just so many Greek gods to remember. I'm not surprised my head hasn't exploded yet." I smiled at her.

"Oh!" I exclaimed. "I know this one! I am so proud of myself! I know something a daughter of Athena doesn't!"

"Don't get used to it," I snapped. "That is something very rare and won't happen a lot," I smiled.

"He's the god of chaos and the embodiment of darkness." I laughed nervously at Kat's comment, not sure if I should take it seriously.

"Thank you Kat number two." I said. "Oh!" I exclaimed. "What do you if people get on your nerves? Are you all like HA I'm a daughter of Erebus and I can send you into darkness!" I asked kat number two.

"Is this what we are calling her now?" I asked. "Kat number two? That sounds wrong. So does that mean I'm Kat, or Kat number one?"

"Um, no. If I feel myself getting angry I usually just run off to be by myself and cool down. because if not... Well, you don't want to know." I said to Isabella.

I nodded, understanding. "Hmm...I need to come up with a nicknames for you Kat and Kat. I have a feeling that their are many more Kats in this camp. For now I'll just call you guys Kat or Kat... you know what I mean. How long have you been at Kat, daughter of Erebus?" I asked. I looked down at my shoes. I was the same way as Kat, daughter of Erebus. I learned how to suck it up and move on.

"I got here in February." I answered. "What about you guys?" My nerves were starting to calm down a bit, and I felt less awkward.

"I have been here five years. I'm a year- rounder. I have no family. My dad's dead." Wow, I can't believe I said that without crying.

"Wow I'm sorry. If you don't mind me asking, how did you're father die?" I asked looking sympathetic. "My mom... My mom died in a fire." Tears fought at the corner of my eyes threatening to fall, but I held them back with a little bit of struggle.

I saw tears in her eyes. I bet the same thing happened to her, except with her mom. I took a deep breath. "My dad was killed by a hellhound, so was my step-mom. I blame their deaths on me." Before I knew it, I had tears falling down my face.

"Oh hey Kat," I say. "We never got around to that date yet. And...no thanks for the coke. I hate soda," I smiled, handing it back to her. "I'm weird. But thanks anyway. Mr. D's so dumb," I laughed as thunder rumbled. "Kids with calculators? At Camp Halfblood? Ha. And I arrived three days ago."

I looked t Ally, "Really?" I asked. "Are you sure? I thought you guys went somewhere the other day. Oh well." I shrugged. Mean while the other Kat and Izzy started crying. I didn't really want to continue with their conversation. I was happy the subject was changed with Ally.

I really felt the need to tell my story, but I hated it. I wasnt going to join in on this. I wasn't trying to be rude, but i didn't really want tos start crying. instead I decided on something. "You guys want to go somewhere? Like, I don't know, into the city maybe?"
