The Unanswerable Question. (Private to Ten)

"heck, Ive been ready for 4 years now. Lets get going." I replied. "So what exactly is in Cuba?" I asked.

"Intel, regarding who is running Epsilon again," I said to him. I cracked my knuckles and walked to the sub we have to get on. "So you'll be our melee guy on the team. Right now we have to meet up with alpha team so they can escort us to the oil refinery," I said as I opened the sub doors. "We have transport, a hummer will be waiting for us," I said to him smiling.

I followed Landon to the submarine, and entered through the doors. "I guess we should know eachothers powers and weaknesses, if we are going to work as a succesful team, these things are important. I guess I will start. I have the power of lumnokinesis, which is control and manipulation of light, I can also shadow travel. I ama very succesful swordsman, and very practiced in the art of Kung fu." I explained as I waited for Landon to get everything ready.

I closed the door. "I have U.S. Military black Op's training which means I know Krav Maga. I know how to curve bullets.. yeah loike from that movie, I can control shadows and make them physical, which means I can make horses, swords, and anything else really. I can shadow travel as well.. My weakness is iron, even though I have stygian iron swords and guns," I said, looking at him as the submarine started to go to our destination.

I mumbled something under my breath about my fear of spiders. "Ive been told that I have anger issues, and that I get mad easily. But I have also been told that I am very protective of my friends." I explained

"I hope that we become friends then," I said and the next thing you know.. we were in Cuba, in a helicopter. I got ready. "I'll go first," I said and jumped off the helicopter. I used shadows to slow my fall for a while until I landed on the ground with a Tmp! Next to our hummer, which was being drieven by another pilot named Josh. I gestured for him to come down.

I watched as Landon jumped from the helicopter, and landed on the ground. I followed suite, But I shadow travelled, appearing next to him. I sat down and waited for him to call the next move.

I jumped onto the hummer and opened the back seat door for Jonas. I jumped into the turret seat and strapped myself in. I sat there. "Hey Jonas. Take the sniper and provide us long range support," I said patting the seat. The starte to rumble down the street, when I saw Betta zooming around the corner towards us with molotov's in their hands.. That's gotta be Greek Fire! Yeesh! I turned the turret towards them and started to fire, picking them off...

I had jumped into the baack of the Hummer, And grabbed the sniper. I had set myself for best range. I saw someone who seemed to be flying, carrying something that appeared to be greek fire. I aimed my gun towards the person, and began to fire the bullets. I swung the gun in a small arch hoping to take down any other people or monsters that were nearby.

A lot of monsters started to fall out of the sky, that I didn't shoot. I patted his shoulder. I came up, and used the turret again. Ten I saw a man with an RPG. Holy.. CRAP! "JONAS DUCK N-" I tried to say but was cut off by an RPG being shot straight under our hummer. Our car flipped over, and my seat was the first to be smashed into smitherines. I uncukled the seatbelt and jumped under the car. here goes nothing.. I used shadows to make solid columns to keep the car from malling onto the ground, killing everyone.
"Get out of the car guys.. nnnngh.. NOW!" I said, it was hurting a lot to keep this suspended in the air.

I Jumped out of the vehicle and dive rolled out of the way of a bullet. I got to my feet and shot a volley of bullets into the forest around us. I looked at Landon, hoping to see what our next would should be.

As much as I was usually was the hero.. I couldn't let him die on my account. I had an idea. I imagined one of those pistons in a factory. I made two of them appear next to me then I solidified them. The pistons shot the car forty feet into the air, smashing into the other cars that were chasing us. I was pretty tired and sore, but I couldn't let that stop me.
"RUN!" I yelled and sprinted away.

I followed behind Landon quickly. I dimmed the lights around us to make it harder for the enemies to see. I then manpulated the shadows to completely cover us from any sight.

I quickly pushed him and myself into a warehouse and put a barricade on the door. I sprinted to the middle of the warehouse, this is the computer I got to get the intle from.. I quickly typed in whatever I could get as fast as I could. I downloaded it into a PDF and quickly kicked open the backdoor.
"We gotta get to Alpha Team," I said and ushered him out the door.

I ran into the building, and reloaded my gun, while he collected intell from the computor. "What is the Alpha team?" I asked as we headed out the back door and into the forest again.

"A branch of Omega.. Their the militia of Omega," I said, running into the forest and dropping down into the sewer. I took my gun and kept running. "They're going to be escorting us to the Oil Refinery," I said and vaulted over some railing.

"were are we heading to now?" I asked as I followed behind Landon. I kept my gun ready for any surprise attacks while I was running.

"We're going down this sewer to meet up with Alpha Team.. or we could meet up with a contact," I said, giving him the choice. It was good to have choices on his first mission. It can help him in future missions. I hope.

I heard a noise behind me, and saw a figure coming after us fast. "Quick get into the sewer, we have no time to wait." I told him. I dropped down intot he hole and made my way down the pipes.

I jumped down, maybe a hundred feet, using the shadows to slow my fall. I landed in the sewer water and leaned on a wall and took out my PDA. I looked through the intel.
"Hey come here and look at this with me," I said.

I walked over to were Landon was stadning and took a look at the PDA. "what are we looking for?" I asked him.

I looked through until I found the file I was looking for. Branch Intel.. It said Betta was a branch of Epsilon.. EPSILON OWNS BETTA! Oh no, if we know this.. Alpha Team is dead.. "Alpha Team is dead, we have to go and find the contact, he's probably waitng for us at the end of this sewer pipe.

"there is no way that Epsilon owns Betta, that cant be right." I said. "No, Betta is working alone, they are not even related, not even remotely." I told Landon.

"Look at the file," I said. The file states clearly Betta was working with Epsilon, Epsilon and Omega are the big guys, Betta aren't even a rival of ours. Their kind of just... there. There is no way they are working with Epsilon and they're partners, Epsilon has to own them.. unless.. their under new management...

"well you have faulty Information then, Betta has never worked with and never will work with Epsilon. I think I would know this stuff." I informed Landon, "Take my word for it, you have faulty info there."
