Dead Space RP (Open)

Paul sighed. He had been listening to their conversation and wished that they would keep their guard up. He kept walking when he heard something like a door slamming shut and a corpse dragging itself through the ducts. He raised his gun waited when he heard the voice."Warning. Emergency Lockdown Activated. Warning." He backed into the other survivors."Crap."

He turned his gun in all direction and tried to gauge where they were coming from. He turned his gun one last time and saw a vent in front of him burst open with some Slashers and Lurkers crawling out. He shot a burst of plasma and managed to cut the arms of one of them and shoot through his legs. The thing stopped twitching be the rest dispersed out, attacking the others.

Suicidal. This is what this is. But still, Jamie thought of brining the mutant corpses out of his way. He valued his and other's life more than theirs. Too bad for them. "Take that and eat it up!" Jamie yelled as he took out his plasma cutter. He jumped up as a corpse swung it's libs under him and let the plasma projectile out of it's container. Let's see you get away from that, he thought and finished the thing off with his rifle.

Paul had just turned around when a lurker jumped on his back. He could feel the thing trying to bite into his armor when he yanked it off and turned it around. He could see the tentacles hanging up so he cut them off with his saw and turned around. He could see them running toward him so he took out his force gun and blasted them back.

Paul backed up when he saw more coming this way. He took out a little plasma ball from him pocket. He had been trying to figure out what this could do and now was the time. He loaded it into his plasma cutter and fired. One ball of plasma flew out, into the middle of the pack. One second, two seconds passed when all of a sudden, the whole pack blew apart. A few stragglers kept coming but a lot had been killed.

Paul saw Jenny on the ground and was about to relax when he heard a loud noise. Dear Lord, he thought, not this. he turned down the hall and saw a Pregnant storming up the hall. He lowered his plasma cutter and reloaded while they protected Jenny. He finished loading and shot a bolt down the hallway, missing by inches.

Jamie stood emotionlessly on their front, killing his second mutant and trying to make the others back off. "Yes, you're okay, now we go out of this hell hole." he growled at his 'team'. Jamie stepped back a bit, not taking his eyes off for any more attacks and pulled Jenny above his shoulder. "We better go now." he said, leading them to the other way, weapon in hand and another safetly wrapped around Jenny. Kids, they don't understand that to survive, you've got to think for your own.
