Camp Dance

I walk up to the beach, seeing everyone dancing. I get closer, and I see a really pretty girl I want to ask to dance with, but I never manage to screw up the nerve, and I walk right by her. In the end, I make it all the way to the other end of the pack. I keep seeing girls to dance with, but never actually ask them, so I end up drawing lines and boxes i the sand with my toe.

I just arrived at the dance, when in was in full swing. Girls were everywhere, so I go and dance with one for a little while, then move onto another one, just as long as they arent single. One girl catches my eye, so I dance with here for a little longer than anyone else......
I begin to wonder why I came here in the first place. Mingleing with men has never been my strong point, and I can never seem to ask, even though I doubt I'd be rejected. I find a few girls to chat with though, an I dance with them until a slow song comes on, then I move along.

When Syn aknowledged me I quickly unclenched my fists and lost the usual 'hate the world' look."Well your going to have to fight a lot hear.And the second some of us step out of camp its even worse.Sure a good mini-uzi would take care of the problem but not forever."I said crossing my arms and smiling slightly at the memory of the mini-uzi.It had been my favorite weapon but I hadnt managed to sneack one before going rouge.

I finish drawing my third strategy in the sand-A classic bait-maneuver- and stand up. I turn around and see a girl standing there, talking with a few of her friends. I just begin to walk over there and ask herb to dance when someone else comes up, and takes her away. I'm now on the edges of the pack of dancers, trying to find someone to dance with, if I can even manage to ask.


Another slow song, another group of girls to leave. I've randomly been walking up and down the beach for a while and I haven't been asked to dance, or asked someone. My feet started to hurt a little, so I sat down almost next to the edge, and used my magic to make a little sand fort, with windows and a little staircase to the walls I start to wonder how this comes to easily to other girls.

I walk toward the egde of the group again, and see a girl in a light purple dress. She looked really good, so I begin to walk over there. I start thinking about what I could possibly say to her, and what she'll say back, until I find out I'm right next to her. "Um... h-hi." I manage to say. "Would you like to d-dance?"

I manage to find a group of a few people talking, a couple of guys and a girl. I hear the girl ask a question about monsters, so I thought I'd go and see if I could help answer. Unfourtunately I didn't see the guys until I was right there so all I could make out was a sheepish "H-hello" and blush a little.
