Camp Dance

"It's okay, I wasn't too fond of them either, and I'm 14, by the way." I say. I stop leaning in, and look out to the water. We've been here for a long time I guess, becuase the sun was gone, and most of the light was coming from the big bonfire, about a dozen meters behind us.

"I used to be an assasin for the titan army.There is a wanted list and youre on it.So is Chris and Magnus but theyre wanted dead a lot sooner.'Wanteds' is just what I called the people I had to assasinate.And most of them didnt have a problem looking me straight in the eye when I shot them."I said to Alice.I clutched my left shoulder trying to ignore the burns and the desire to start shooting people.Thank the Gods I left my weaponry in my bag.The curse had started burning more and more frequently and for less damaging information.I was probably gonna get assasinated soon.Just another lovely thought to add to my jumble of depression and self loathing.

"Ive killed demi-titans but it was really mostly demi-gods and some espiloge on the side."I said nonchalantly.I could tell she was nervous.And it wasnt the fault of the two boys.I sighed realizing I had yet another person thinking I was evil.Just great.

I laughed."Get by in life?Sadly enough I actually enjoyed using all their military class weapons and riding in their helicopters.Not much I can do now for redemption but it aint my main concern."I said looking at the dance floor.Everyone here could have a life ahead of them.Me?Not a chance.

"Only one year difference doesn't really matter." I say I see her look out to the water again, getting distracted. "What's on your mind, you seem really distant?" I ask, not really expecting an answer.

"There seems to be a certain charm in hunting with a helicopter." I joke a little. I felt a little more comfortable around her now. She seems a little less dark, and definately not hostile.

"Well if you act like this most of the time, it's probably a lot." I say jokingly. More and more starts began to dot the skies. "This has been an amazing dance for me." I tell her.

"A little charm?They got away half the time but it was great for transportation."I said smiling slightly but then going back to my usual expressionless mask."So what on earth could you have done to get to a level 8 priority B?I mean you surpassed even Chris and Magnus which has me interested."I said looking at her up and down.Not the most powerful looking person out there.

"Unnecasary attention?If I hadnt gone rouge youd have been dead by now.You are that big a problem to them."I said.I really didnt mean for it to sound threatning but it just came out that way.

I snikered."Im actually preety high up there on the new list.Probably because I may have stolen afew supplies and blown up one of their hideouts."I said smiling devileshly.One thing I enjoyed talking about was destruction.See?I am preety damn evil.

"There is."I said not joking at all."But on the plus side I can tell you guys some preety important stuff.Well probably not that important.Dont want to kill you."I said nonchalantly.

Kylee nodded."same here. Well it was nice meeting you Alex, but I have to go. Goodnight." She said. Kylee sat up and waved.

"Bye." I returned, and waved back. I was sitting alone on the edge of the beach again. A little happier, but also feeling slightly rejected. I stare out into the waters again, and decide to distract myself by drawing in the sand again.
