"It's...it's a plant...I think. It wipes your memory clean, to put it simply" she tried to explain. "You can only get it in the underworld" she added quite harshly, narrowing her eyes. Of all the memories she could have kept, all she remembered was the Lithe. How ironic she thought angrily.

Constellations forgotten at the moment, Chris' head snapped to focus on Syn. "You've been...to the Underworld?"

Suddenly feeling snappish due to her memory loss she glared at the ocean, and a soft warning growl could be heard from Fal. "I don't remember" was what she muttered through gritted teeth, stuffing the arrow head in her pocket. "I must have gone...but there's nothing, no memory. Except..." she trailed off, then shook her head. "Darkness. I don't know" she crouched down, petting Fal.

Chris held his hands up. "Sorry. I meant no hostility." They stood there for a few moments in awkward silence, until the son of Apollo brought another topic up to ease the tension. "You ever pay attention to the stars, Syn?"

She looked at him in surprise, then frowned. Of course she did! Not only were they beautiful, but they were a good navigation system too. But what he mean?
"Yes....?" she more of asked than answered, curious as to what he had to say. Then she looked up at them, sighing. "Why?"

OOC: The dance my Athena child asked for was for the posidon girl who showed up earlier :p

I sort of move toward the girl in the group a little more, until i notice my leg hit something I thought was a large dog. I bend down and scratch it's head, but quickly withdraw when it growls slightly. "S-so how are you e-enjoying the night?" I manage to stutter to the two guys and the girl, hoping the would, but at the same time hoping they won't notice me."

"I guess its been pretty good..." Syn said to the girl. She kicked Fal gently glared up at her. "Don't you look at me like that Mr!" she growled at him, "you don't treat people like that" she said pointedly. The wolf stood his head bowed low, ears back, and tail held low and slightly between the legs as he whimpered to her. "She stood over him, simply staring before bending down and petting him. He immediately perked up, then faced the newcomer openly. "This is Fal, he wants to apologize for growling at you" Syn translated with a kind smile to the girl. "I'm sorry, but whats your name?"

"I'm Alice, Daughter of Hecate." I reply, talking a little more comfortably to her. "Who are you?" I ask back. "I'd have certainly remembered someone with a wolf following them around if I met them before.

Syn smiled. "I'm Syn, Daughter of Maia" she said, frowning a little. It was her first time saying those words. "And Fal only just came back" she added, smiling fondly at the wolf. "He vanished after...after I was attacked" she said.

Kylee glanced up at the boy and managed a small smile. "Um sure, but I have to warn you I'm a terrible dancer." she said getting up. Kylee wiped the sand out of her dress. "I'm Kylee daughter of Poseidon." she added.

"It's okay, I'm no better" I grab her hand with my right hand and her waist with my left. We start to dance and, true to my word at least, I'm not too good. She seemed well enough to me, and I was getting distracted looking at her eyes.

"That explains why I haven't seen him." I reply. "He's got to be useful in a fight, like my Lampedes." Seeing him a little more calm, I lean down a little and pet him. I see the other two guys close, talking to eachother. "Are they um... O-okay?" I ask.

I walked along the beach to the dance slowly. I see lots of people dancing near the fire, which burns brightly in the distance. Distracted as I am, I soon found myself in the midst of the dancers, and wandered off the dance area to wait and watch, for something to do, worthwhile and entertaining.

This was one of the few times I actually went to the beach, and it was my first camp dance. I wasn't dressed really fancy, but it was a lot more formal then my normal T-shirt and jeans. I sported a normal, light blue dress, with a top to that dress that overlapped itself, and both sides of the leg were split up to my thigh. Even though my long green-ish hair was still it it's trademark pony-tail, I just hoped I looked presentable enough.

Kylee had to admit she was a nervous as ever. She could tell he was too. His hands were sweaty, her's probally were too. "So what did you say your name was?"Kylee asked.

"I-I'm Alex, Son of A-Athena." I manage to say. This was the first time I danced with a girl in a really long time, so i was hoping nothing went wrong. "W-who are you?" I sort of stutter out. I though I looked like a total geek, but she seemed nice, and I didn't want her to leave because of me.

Kylee smiled brightly. "Kylee, daughter of Poseidon." she said as if that was a good thing. In truth it was a burden. Everyone expected greatness from you. Kylee left her little day dream and came back to earth.

"Wow that must be a lot of pressure" I say, while we were still dancing. "You must really like it here though." All the time though, I had to watch where my hands were, and that they didn't slip. Did I mention I'm bad with women? Anyways, So far nothing bad was happening, so I felt a little more comfortable.

Kylee's face showed nothing really, as if she was just hit in the face. "Well in truth, no. I miss my old life. The only thing I have left of that is my horse." she said sadly. Kylee felt her eyes tear up. 'No not now' she thought to herself.

I saw her eyes tear up. "Oh I'm s-sorry, did I say something w-wrong?" I ask, my traditional stutter coming back now that something was wrong. I wanted to hug her, or comfort her if there was something really sad but, like I've stated before, I don't really know how.

Kylee smiled and almost laughed. "No, sorry I just miss my family that's all. Nothing short of the ordinary." she said smiling to make sure it was okay.

Kylee nodded slightly, but the song was over. A fast song came on, crap Kylee sucked at dancing. She sighed deeply not sure of what to say. Her eyes drifted to the water, deep blue.

I noticed the song ended, and I can't dance to fast songs. "Wan't to... just sit at the edge 'till another song comes up?" I ask, noticing her eyes drawn to the water.

Kylee nodded. "Yeah... like I said I'm no good at dancing." she breathed eyes still fixed on the water. Kylee realized what had just happened. She had danced with Alex, held his hand. That made her think of Cain, he was nice too.

"Come on let's just sit over there." I said. Something was seriously distracting her, and I wanted to know what. "So, is this the first time you gone to one of these things?" I ask as innocently as I can.
