| I laughed uneasily. "Yea..." again it was pretty awkward seeing his Dad, I didn't make a great first impression and now showing up with a bullet wound and his son with a broken leg I was just screaming responsibility. | |

I coughed, "Its a long story, you probably don't to hear it" I say nervously. I hoped my dad didn't try to dig out any info, he was cool, but he got interested in things easily. | |

| I forced a smile, "Her arm is fine, Parker.". I pointed to the bullet wound in her shoulder, under the gauze, "The shoulder is what Im worried about".
I nodded solemly and sat back a bit, "But she will be okay, right?"
I sighed sadly, "Its a gamble, if the blood stops, shes fine. If it keeps coming out, we have a problem" I say honestly. | |
