My hands were still bound but I rushed forward and gave Parker a passionate kiss. "I have no idea where he hid that key.." I said and turned to my Mum "Now I was sleepin- well kinda sleeping with Parker peacefully before YOU but in." I told her "I would appreciate if you quit bothering me!"

I smiled, "I actually think it can be considered sleeping Abby". I look at the step dad, "So, you gonna try and take me downtown or are you going to give me the key to the cuffs, its the easy way, or the hard way". I lean against the railing leisurely.

My mom ran back down the hall to her room and I was feeling pretty stressed out. "I'm going back to my room" I told Parker, "If you can get the key from him. Great. Otherwise I'll cut the dam things off myself."

I let Abby go to her room, then stared at the step dad, "So, whats your pick? The easy way, or the hard way?" I say, my body tensed.

I picked myself up. Who did this punk think he was? "You choose punk." I growled.

"Why should I choose?" I ask him. "Your the one who is going to get hurt for the wrong decision" I point out, realizing he wasn't as bright as he should have been as a police officer.

"Ok so smashing them on my desk doesn't work." I said outloud my shoulder were starting to cramp from being bent backwards. "I feel like a criminal" I laughed out loud. "I guess I am a bit." I craned my neck checking out the cuffs, Crap I had bent the keyhole. Now how was i going to get them off. *Mood flash* I sighed feeling a desire for Parker he truly loved me and I felt the same about him

I walked into the room and held up a small shiny object, "Look what I found" I say happily. I shove the key into the slot and turn it, and hear a click, then pull the cuffs off, "you know, bending the keyhole wasn't the smartest thing, this might not have worked"

I gave him a rare smile of thanks "Thanks Parker" I leaned forward and gently kissed him. "Did he hurt you?" I ask slightly worried rubbing my wrists.

I forced a laugh, "Just a few bruises" I muttered. No need to let her know what he really did to me, it would show over time, but the farther I could get with it, the better.

I settled in his arms and said delicately "Oh are you alright sweety?" I sensed something else was wrong but I was too love crazed right now to realize anything.

"Yeah, but I suggest we leave before he unties himself and loads his gun" I muttered, I hadn't wanted to take the gun, so I just threw it in a trash can.

I sighed, "I don't want to go back to camp yet." I muttered "Can we go to your house?" I liked Parker's Dad when I met him, "Pretty please?" I added with a hint of seduction in my voice

I laughed a bit, "Hes out of town, I think, but I have a key to the house, so sure" I say. I grin at the thought of a house alone, no adults, "Maybe we can invite a bunch of people for a party" I say.

I grinned at the thought. I grabbed my laptop and it's case. "You ready?" I ask.

"Yeah, I guess" I say, making myself smile, though the pain was really bad, and I felt awkward on my foot. I limped over to her side and took her hand, trying to look normal.

I looked right into her eyes and realized I couldn't lie to her, and that she wouldn't stop until she knew. "I think he broke my right leg, at the knee" I confessed. I thought my walking would be worse, but I was good with balancing on one leg.

"I didnt tell you because I didnt want to make you worry or anything, and I am certainly okay, aside from the pain everyone with a broken leg feels" I say, making myself sound like it wasn't as bad as it was, because that was the kind of person I was.

Now I started crying. "Parker you need to tell me about this!" I said through my tears. "We can't bring you to the Hospital they'll question what would've happened!"

I wrapped my arms around Abby, "Its okay, my dad knows first aid" I say, grinning. "You know how he never said what his job was?" I asked her.

"He said he was a volunteer fireman." I told Parker "But alright." I took his hand and was about to turn in place when my stepdad boomed into the room. Quick thinking probably saved us I turned just as he shot his gun. Then we were outside Parker's Dad's house Parker with his broken leg and me with a gunshot wound in my shoulder.
