when we landed I winced as my leg hit a rock, but continued the conversation, "Thats in his spare time" I shouted, then picked up the rock at my leg and threw it at her step dad in the window, it knocked him back and his next shot hit the ground beside us, "Hes a nurse, but even being a fireman needs first aid" I shouted, moving to get her on her feet.

"OW OW OW." I said blood streaming from my shoulder. "Parker.. help.." I managed weakly. "He shot me.." I crumpled on the snow tinging it red.

I looked at her shoulder, "Crap" I muttered loudly, I pushed myself to one knee and placed my bad knee, which I assumed was a shattered kneecap or something, as best as I could. I grabbed her hand. "We gotta get inside, theres first aid kits and everything" I said, my injuries could wait indefinitely, until Abby was ok, I'd stick with my pain.

I whimpered with pain which usually was incredibly unlike me. "Am I going to die Parker?" I whispered

I forced a smile, "No, your not going to die" I muttered, "You got hit in the shoulder, we wrap it up to stop the bleeding, and then we wait until my dad gets home so he can do the complicated stuff" I say, trying to encourage her. "Now come on, we have to get inside" I say, waiting for her to try and get herself up so I could help.

I gingerly attempted getting up blood pouring down my arm "HELP." I said fear in my eyes.

I gently pulled her up to her feet. "What a pair we make, I need a shoulder to lean on, and you have exactly one shoulder that I could actually lean on" I say, grinning. I start limping towards the door, with Abby by my side.

"Unfortunately you're right." I said pain in every word. As we stepped inside my arm started going cold. "Parker I'm getting cold.."

I moved us over to the couch in the living room and set Abby down, "Ill be right back" I say, heading to the bathroom for the first aid kit, and moving a blanket over to the couch for Abby. I went to the bathroom and took out the first aid kit, opening it up on the way back to Abby, and taking out the gauze, "Ok, so we need to put it right on the wound" I say, frowning.

I ripped off my sleeve revealing my crimson stained shoulder. "I don't care what you do as long as you do it fast." I sad a little woozily.. Everything was starting to get dizzy and my head hurt

I wrapped the gauze around her shoulder tightly, and tied it at the top. "Sorry" I said quickly, "It hurts."

I smiled grimly, "Well, I could let you look at the open wound, and it would have the same effect, so long term a white bandage looks pretty nice doesn't it?". Usage of my logic was fun.

"Dunno" I muttered, making sure her bandage was tight enough. Once I was sure, I collapsed down onto the couch, my leg was throbbing with pain.

I wanted to fall asleep but the dull ache in my arm my brain was sending me signals 'Don't go to sleep don't go to sleep!!'

I put an arm around Abby lightly, avoiding her bandage for her sake, "Its gonna be alright"

I mumbled something quietly I wasn't sure if he heard it. I was slowly.. slipping away...

I heard the door open and looked over at it, I saw my Dad step in, look at us, see my out of place leg and her bandage, and he walked in calmly.

"I assume you need my help with some medical issues" I say solemnly, wondering what the situation was.

I nodded, "Ill explain later".

I smile and go get the first aid kit, and see what I can do at working on a splint for Parker.

I smiled kindly at Abby, "I was hoping our next meeting would be more pleasant, but I wasn't expecting it" I said.

I laughed, "well, your more trained to deal with bullets and broken bones than sword slashes, so this is almost a bump up from my past injuries" I mutter, thinking about the numerous times my dad had patched me up.
