"Ohhh nothing." I said.Then I laughed again.I sharpened my knives loudly to show him not to mess with me.

I quickly got up from my seat, grabbed Kai's hand, and darted into the living room. "Kai, please, don't hurt him," I said. "I know you hate him and all, but I really don't want anyone to die. I have my mother's blessing now, and that shows that she trusts me. I won't betray her trust."

"I won't hurt him.But my knives need sharpening." I told her.It was a lie and she probably knew it.

I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I know your lying, Kai, and I thank you for being concerned. You've got to understand though, I'll never leave you. Not even for him."

I returned the smile. I felt myself leaning in closer to him. "Thanks, Kai." I pulled him closer to me, then waited for his response.

I kissed her.The same thing as usual.I had no idea what was happening,but it was happening.

I felt his lips press against mine, and so I returned the favor. Making sure my half-siblings weren't spying, or even Matt, I opened one eye and scanned the room. No one seemed to be watching, so I closed my eye again. I sqweased Kai tighter, but not too tight, so I didn't seem to demanding.

I forgot about everything else.I just let myself get caught in the moment.Something could've crushed my arm yet again and I probably wouldn't even notice.It was awesome.

I made movements with my mouth I never knew I could do before. After a few seconds, I pulled away, and looked him in the eyes. "I love you, Kai . . ." I said, smiling. I rested my head on his chest, and waited for his reply.

I lifted my head from his chest, and looked into his blue eyes once more. I thought about everything we've been through in only two days. First, my step-mom is psychotic, then we're attacked by the minotuar, and finally, we visit the underworld, speak with Hades, and he ends up trash talking me because I'm his son's girlfriend. I held him in a tight embrace, and then felt myself leaning into his face once more.

Just then, Matt walked into the room. I quickly pulled away from Kai, but it was too late. He had already seen us kissing, and I didn't know what he would do now. He was always unpredictable, especially with girls. I looked at Kai for guidance, and waited for him to do something.

"What were you guys doing?" he asked angrily. "Uh . . . Nothing," I replied. "It didn't seem like nothing," he retorted. He was becoming more angry by the second. Oh, mom, please help us, I prayed.

After that, we fight the minotuar, then we visit the underworld to speak with Hades, and now all of that has turned into a love show down? What the heck?

Matt grumbled at Kai's reply, fiercly forming his palms into fists. Mom, please help me, I thought in a fast type of motion. Matt appeared like he was going to crush Kai, but I hoped Kai would refrain from using any of his weapons. At least fight it clean, I mean, after, Matt was mortal.
