Dylan, the first son of Boreas', First Day At Camp [OPEN]

I shook my head."Not always.I prefer it like that.Hard rock,that crud." I said.

"Okay, whatever you want is...okay I think." she backed out. She was always this little scared kid. Whenever she thinks someone is aggravated or angry, she backs down.

I look at the little girl. "Where are you from if you don't know about music?" I tilt my head to the side, a confused look on my face. I mean seriously, me and my sister, also a demigod but not a daughter of Boreas, listened to music all the time!

As if on queue, I strolled into the Hera cabin. "Did you just say someone doesn't know what music is?" I almost gasp, but I'm not that dramatic. I may be into drama, but I'm not a Drama Queen, or King. "I'm Hale Drem, Apollo Cabin Leader. Hey Zan! Hey Colby!" I say to the others that I know. "Okay, now who here is Dylan? I'm supposed to give you a tour of camp, but I see your getting to know some of the others quick enough." I motion toward Zan, Colby, Raphaela, and Tobias.

I smile at the Apollo cabin Leader.Then turned to Dylan."Getting a tour from a Cabin Leader.What an honor for you." I smiled at him.

She backed away to the wall, pinning herself to the wall. She raised her hands apologetically. "I'm Sorry! I don't know anything about this 'music'" she said, cowering a bit. "Dad always told me to never stay away and to not go to the above realms."

I look at the so called "Cabin Leader", seeing nothing special. He looked like your typical California Surfer. He had okay looks, and bright, lively eyes. Plus, he looked about eleven. "If you say so," I say to Tobias hesitantly. Then I look at the girl.

"Thanks, Toby!" I smile, knowing Tobias hated to be called Toby. "Um, is she okay? I mean, it's no big deal, really. I mean, I don't know much modern stuff because my mom, like, kept me in a bubble. But, I know music." I tell Raphaela, trying to calm her down. She was scaring me.

"I don't know!" she panicked. It was her first time above the fortress of her father, but she already screwed the possibility offriends. "Dad didn't say anything about music." she said, trying to back up more. "All the things you say are too mind twisiting things."

I stare at the girl, still confused. But, I felt bad for her. "Hey, it's okay. Where are you from?" I was careful not to make the room colder, in fear it would scare Raphaela.

"I don't know. it's always eark out there." she said. She let her brownish-black hair hall to her face and the looked at her feet.

I smile at Hale."Tobias." I said.Everyone joked around like that.I was fine with some people calling me this,but certain people used it in ways that could infuriate me.I wasn't upset with him calling me this.

Frozen and leaning against the wall, Raphaela looked catiously to them. She was looking for any traces of anger. None was found but she didn't move. "You guys speak in weird and funny words." she said.

"No.This is normal round here." I told her.Then I smiled.

"Weird is normal?" she asked. Her stance shifted slightly but her eyes were aware. She never heard of weird being normal.

"This isn't weird.This is normal.You are probably just from some-uh place." I said,not sure where she could be from.

"So normal is weird?" she asked. Clearly confused, she cocked her head sideways. Hair falling and revealing her big eyes.

I shook my head."Just because it's different from what your used to,doesn't make it weird.This is how everybody on Earth is like.Ever heard of Apollo?He's the GOD of music."

"Apollo?" she had heard that name before. She remembered her dad being angry and said something of light and big headness. But she wasn't really listening to him. All that mattered was her dad was angry.

"Yes.One of the Greek Olympian Gods." I said.She obviously didn't know much.

I looked back and forth and shook my head, "Your going to give me a head ache. Imma go change real quick. Come on Zan, you should go ahead and start planning your 'welcome'?" I said with a smirk before walking off to leave the younger children to explain.

I started to walk out of the cabin.I had stuff to do."See you at the arena!" I said to Colby,and I was gone.

Everyone left. Raphaela, the innocent kid she was, smiled and walked to a near bunk. Humming to herself, she sat and looked around. The place seemed airy and cold, but she didn't mind. She smiled and sighed contently, even if she was alone.

I look at the girl that was left. "You know, my dad is Apollo." I walk towards her, but remember I'm here for Dylan. He was still standing where he was before, tilting his head just slightly.

I watched the others leave, with only the little boy, and the young girl left. I didn't want to move anywhere, and I was okay with just watching. Back in the mortal life, I was the less important sibling. Now I still found that true, since Marisa, my sister, had ended up in Hades.

"Tell me about him." she mumbled, leaning in. She was interested in all these new things. The music part especially.

I shrug. "Okay. Well Apollo is the demigod son of Zeus, and the mortal Leto. He is the younger twin sibling of his sister Artemis, the Goddess of the hunt. He has a strange healing power, which a lot of his children inherited. Not me, but some of us. In the morning he pulls the sun into the sky, and at night he pulls it out. Apollo is the god of light, healing, disease, the later, prophecy, and music. His children, my siblings, live in Cabin 7. I am their Cabin Leader."

She nodded though a little bit confused. "Pulls the sun? Twin sister?" she asked. She never knew there was a sun. She never knew there were gods either. There was only her and her dad that all she cared about.
