Dylan, the first son of Boreas', First Day At Camp [OPEN]

I smiled, "I'm still learning and I've been here since I was seven" I nodded ",but meet me in the arena in fifteen minutes and will start a lesson"

"Colby! Sup!" Zan shouted as she ran into the cabin and landed a flying jump on one of her best friends. She wrapped her arms around Colby's neck and grinned goofily at the others, "Dis right here, is my bestest friend." She turned to face the others with one arm still around Colby's neck.

I nodded."Ok." Fifteen minutes.So it wouldn't be to long.Then I wouldn't feel useless,even if it took a long time to do anything.

I nodded, and smiled big as Roxanne jumped me, "Hey Zan, I'mma go train Tobias here, you wanna come?" I asked with a wink looking at the younger boy. My black hair already longer and growing back to it's normal leagh in less then three weeks. The stuff was alive.

I put something down.It was something important,but not to me.It was my friends.Noah would flip if I didn't give it back on time.

"Oh my gods, yes! It's been forever since I shocked the snot outta anyone!" She grinned rather evilly at the young kid. She shook back her own shoulder-length black bob.

I laughed.A little.I really hoped she was kidding.I'd heard rumors that Zeus kids could kill with electricity.And they were probably true.

I look at the others. Being new, I felt so uneducated. Only a few minutes ago had I realized I wasn't dreaming. But now I see a child of Zeus, the god of gods! I wasn't sure whether I should bow down to her, or make fun of her. I was sure my dad genes were jealous of Zeus, but I don't think I felt the same way. I, after all, was the son of the God of the North wind, and the best season! Winter! "I'm Dylan, son of Boreas," I say to Zan and the other girl. The other girl was pretty, and looked about a year younger than me.

I stuck my iPod in my pocket.I had been listening to it this whole time.Yet none of them noticed.It was weird.

Zan looked questioningly at Colby, "He doesn't know the new way of things." She said grinning. She hadn't performed an iniation ceremony in a while either.

I wondered who she was talking about.I hoped she was talking about the other boy.Serious,Zeus kids scared me.

She looked around, not bothering about the others. This was all new to her. "What cabin is this?" she asked no one particular. Her eyes still shining with innocence.

"Hera's,in reality." I said."But most of us stay here,because we have no cabins."

"Most?", she asked. She flipped her curls out of her eyes to look at him directly. "Why not all?" she smiled.

I looked down at the girl and said "hera room ice deitys" I said nicey. She looked so out of place and I knew within years the innocence will be gone when she lives through the life id a demigod

"Some prefer the basement." I said."Plus the kids in other cabins." I said.

She still smiled and didn't feel awkward to the group. "I'm Raphaela by the way." she chimed and looked at the others. They looked nothing like the people she lived with. She looked at the boy with the earphones. "What is that?" she asked, cocking her head sideways.

"An iPod." I said.Then I pulled it out and showed her."See?"

She looked at it closer. "What does that thing do?" she asked, clearly amazed. She took it by her hand and turned it full circle.

"It plays music." I said."Plus it does some other stuff.But I just use it for my music."

"Music?" she asked. She said the word again just to try it on her tonge. "What's music? All you people speak differently from where I come from."

"It's sounds and words.But put together.MMake sense?" I ask.

"Not really." she said. She looked around the others, wondering why they were so quiet. "Rhyming words?" she asked

"Sometimes." I told her.I wasn't sure what to tell her.She didn't know much.

"Sometimes?" she asked. She was stubborn and ignorant, which are the most unknown traits to her. Holding the earbud, she placed it curiously in her ear. But the moment the sound reached her hearing, she took the white object out. "Is music always like that?"
