Mirror of Archimedes

"So it's near here?" I ask. "I don't know whats around it?"

"wow..." I sigh as Austin goes for the ball and comes back up. "Anyway, I think that may be it over there, it looks old enou-" My sentence is cut off by the screeching of two giant metal birds, hurtling towards us. "Hephestus really has it in for us" I say and get my bangle ready.

I put my bangle on where I though the sword was, I guess I was wrong, because I end up holding a spear. ''Cool'' I mutter, and turn my pegasus toward the machine on the left, spear held above my head.

I dip my mount down at the last second and stab the spear up. It doesnt go through, but the bird bumps up. There are no obvious joints to stab at so I attack the wings, while dodging its razor sharp claws.

"Hey,hey we need to eat too" I say jokeingly whlie I stab my opponent's left wing. It barrel rolls and crashes into the other bird. "Lets touch down before any more of them show up"

We touch down next to the Old House. I see the piece of glass we're looking for, except it's on the second floor. Luckily, there are no guards, or automotons, so we can just walk right in.

The room with the mirror shard was a little library, with only about 6 or 7 shelves. Around the place were a few statues fashioned like medival knights. "Crap..." I mutter. "So you want to go in first Austin?"

The knights suddenly animate, and two use their gargantuan bodies to block the door. Two go after Austin, and 2 to after me. I place my hand on the bangle and find myself holding an axe. "Wow, I'm really starting to like this thing." I charge one of the suits wile the other one is drawing his weapon.

"HANG ON!!!" I yell to Austin. I use the flat of my axe to knock the first suit away, and I use the blade to cut the second ones head off whil suit # 1 stumbles.

The 2nd suit attacks and I hit it on the knee and it falls over uselessly. Austin and I attaack the remaining 2 automotons blocking the door. They both have large swords, and huge tower shields. They stand back-to-back, making if difficult to hit them.

The suit facing me turns a little and I tke the opportunity to throw my axe ddep into his neck. The secon suit of armor now turns to see his fallen comerade.

I sigh loudly. 'It's a suit Ausitn, it doesn't care if you make faces.
