John walked side by side with his dog. The boy had a sword out, with its hilt wrapped around his hand. The sword was celestial bronze but had been painted jet black. He watched every corner, waiting for the freaks to come out and attack him. He knew night would be falling soon. Which meant that soon the undead would be roaming around. Plus John knew that he could run into a child of hades, and would be killed most likely. So him and huxleigh walked peacefully. The dog whimpered every few seconds to let Jason know that she wasn't terribly happy about being out so close to the night.
