As the cars got to Central Park, they slowed down and allowed Jason and kaylin to get out before they drove off again. Jason reached down and took kaylin's hand and toghter they started walking through Central Park. "You can decide where we go kaylin I don't mind, as long as you are there." Jason says to kaylin.

Though she enjoyed spending the ride in Jason's arms, she was thankful to be able to stretch her legs after a three hour drive. Stepping out of the car and beginning their walk through the park, she decided it was completely worth it. After given her permission to do so, Kaylin led them through the park. She did not really know where she was going, having never been there before, but she led them further still. "'Did you know that Central Park's appearance in many movies and television shows has made it one of the world's most famous city parks?'" she said, trying to make that question sound as matter-of-fact-ly as it had coming out of another campers mouth. "A daughter of Athena couldn't help but blurt that out when I mentioned the place," she chuckled. Their escorts had dropped them off on East Drive. The first significant location the two of them came across was the Central Park Zoo.

OOC: The trip took 2 hours and 40 minutes. I looked it up on mapquest :P

"You wanna go Into the zoo? It's compltley up to...." Jason freezes. "Where did all the people go...?" He wonders out loud when they both hear strange noises coming from up ahead. Jason moves to stand in front of kaylin as they move up. The noises sound more like hissing the closer they get. "Stay back ill go look" he tells kaylin. He takes two steps forward when out of nowhere a Cyclopes (like one of the ones that is bad) hits him and sends him flying into a rock he hits it and is dazed, kaylin can see blood from the impact on the rock.

For a few moments, Kaylin was frozen. Her entire world seemed to shut down. She could hear nothing but the sound of her out heart racing in her chest. She never before felt as helpless as she did in that moment, watching Jason's body go limp as he slid down the boulder he impacted with. As she began to regain her wits, she started to hear a sort of hum. Her world came back into focus and she realized that what she heard was the sound of her own screaming. The cyclops swatted at her as he had Jason but she was able to evade the attack and get to Jason's side. There was quite a lot of blood.

"Oh gods," she muttered, trying to hold back her tears and focus on the thing trying to kill her and her barely conscious boyfriend. As the monster came at them, Kaylin took the dagger from her boot, but she ended up dropping it while trying to get Jason out of harms way. The cyclops came at them again and wound up punching the boulder instead, smashing it to pieces. Kaylin inched herself back from the monster, trying to remember the few spells she knew. As the monster came toward them, she laid her hand on the ground and the concrete beneath the cyclops' feet reverted quickly to its liquid form. The beast sank in a bit and the substance instantly re-hardened.

For moment Kaylin felt light-headed but she shook it off and turned her attention to Jason while the cyclops struggled to get free, eventually pulling his left leg out. Kaylin grabbed for her dagger. In her palm, the symbols etched into the blade of the dagger began to glow. She thrust her hand forward and the blade shot straight through the cyclops' chest. The dagger embedded itself into a nearby tree after the monster turned to dust. She hopped that thing didn't have any friends. Kaylin turned her head to quickly scan the area, and she noticed a sharp pain in her forehead. She touched her fingers to the area and they came back red and sticky with blood. A stray rock must have struck her or something. Feeling it wasn't that significant of an injury, she focused on Jason.

Jason eyes fluttered open "what the heck hit me..... Where did it..." He looked at kaylin "oh gods. I'm a horrible boyfriend I couldn't even protect you from a freakin monster I'm sorry" he said as he reached out and touched her face. Tears starting to run down his cheeks. "I understand if you don't want a weakling as your boyfriend. I just... That wasnt.... Today wasnt supposed to be like...." He trails off and his eyes go wide as a second Cyclopes is trying to sneak up behind kaylin. Jason stands up and moves in front of kaylin.

The Cyclopes spots him and kaylin "Me eats your puny girl demigod first hahaha" it says. Jason sunddenly just loses it at that statement "YOU WILL NOT TOUCH HER!" He yells and he charges. The red arua comes around him (like Charisse had in the last Olympian. The blessing of ares. Yeah rage mode). And he runs up to the Cyclopes. It tries to hit him but he dodges then jumps on it arm and sprints up onto its shoulder he front flips off as it tries to hit him and lands with his back turned to it. In a crouched fighting stance. He stands up as the Cyclopes looks down to see two knives sticking out of its stomach. Jason presses a button on his wrist watch. The blades shoot eccentricity into the monster turning it to dust. He pulls put a phone and starts calling camp. Then as he hits dial he collapses unconcicous from blood loss. As he did more and more Cyclopes came in surrounding them both.

"You're not weak," Kaylin chuckled weakly. "Just having an off day, that's all," she insisted with a nod. She brought the back of her hand up to her nose, finding blood. That would sometimes happen when she used more than one spell in a short amount of time. She quickly wiped it away and watched as Jason attacked the second cyclops, moving to his side when he collapsed. She tried to wake him but she guessed his unconscious state was due to blood loss. When she looked up again, she wished she hadn't. They were surrounded now. Kaylin slowly got to her feet and retrieved her nearby dagger. "Gods help me," she whispered.

Jason's face has started to pale. If he doesn't get some help soon, then he will be dead. His fingers go rigid as his muscles lock up. He's dying. He needs help. Anybody who can help would be better. Death is nearby, waiting, he thinks Jason is going to die.

Artemis, Goddess of the Hunt, Maiden Girls and Moon

My Hunter's were growing tired, and I could feel it. While I could go a little longer than them, I knew this was fruitless. We had been hunting the cyclops for three days straight, and all our resources said it had found a friend only recently.
Two cyclops, and my Hunter's were not at their top condition. Some had stayed behind, of course. Only a few had been chosen for this task. The creatures were deadly, and I had chosen the strongest to come.
They had slaughtered two humans, and a demigod from my own cause in their hunger, and I was out for blood now.
'My Lady, their tiring,' one of the girls said softly from beside me, and I quickly looked.
Charlie Grandge. She had joined eight years ago, a Daughter of Iris. A Gatherer, but of course, a good fighter.
'I know my child. But we will find them soon. I'm sure,' I replied carefully, keeping my eyes on the deep darkness.
We had entered Central Park a while ago, and since then we seemed to be lost. A little at least. Lots of trees kept getting in our way.
A bellow caught my attention, and my head snapped up and to the right.
'This way!' I called to my Hunter's, and before I could see were they following, set off into the trees and foliage.
Footsteps pounded behind me, and after barely a minute, we burst into a clearing where a cyclops was bearing down on a young girl. A little ways off, near rocks, a boy was unconscious, bleeding heavily and obviously needing urgent attention. A job for the Healer's, although they wouldn't be happy about it. Not in their resume to help dying boys.
The Maiden was not looking her best, but she had a dagger in her hand, and was strong in spirit. The boy must mean something to her. Not my concern in this matter though.
The cyclops heard my Hunt, and turned, a smile on his gruesome face and his yellow, rotting teeth bared.
'You have no place here Artemis. This is direct interference, and after all. I was eating these young half-bloods before you arrived,' he growled, directing it at me. Of course, it couldn't be shown to be me in the crowd of my Hunter's.
'How so? You are a beast, and I am the Hunter of wild beasts. As for the half-bloods, they don't die this night,' I called, my voice cold and harsh.
'And the male? Surely you wouldn't spare him? Let me have him. He's nearly dead anyway.'
'I protect those that I choose. And you, beast, have not been chosen.'
With that, I let fly the arrow that I had notched without anyone noticing. It hit him squarely in the shoulder, and he roared in pain.
'Puny Goddess, you and your Hunter's will pay dearly for that!' he screamed, and the volley of arrows missed by a few inches.
Well at least my Hunter's had their silent wish. We had some action, and I just hoped it ended well for all.

For a moment, she thought her silent prayer worked, that they had come to save her, but by their appearance, it seemed they had been hunting this particular creature for a while. The Hunters all stood up tall, with proud and determined expressions on their faces, but they were clearly exhausted. As was she, Kaylin soon realized. It took a lot of energy for her to not simply collapse there on the spot once the Hunters had arrive. She back away form the creature after it was struck by arrows, moving to crouch next to Jason and assess the damage, keeping her dagger in hand just in case.

He was not looking so good. She swallowed back her tears as she tried to get a response from him, but he was fading fast. She felt completely lost, looking up at the Hunters and the goddess that stood before her. Would they help him? She knew the Hunters pretty much hated the male gender with every fiber of their being, but they would not just let him die, would they? She wasn't sure what to say or do. Normally she wouldn't dare speak first in the presence of an authority figure, and this girl, though appearing to be about her age, radiated with power and status. She managed a weak, "Thank you," but could not bring herself to ask them to save Jason. What if they saw it as disrespect? ...maybe she could do it herself. She ran through all the different spells she learned over the last two years, mentally searching for one that could help but coming up short.

The girl was strong willed, but she was in love. No use in offering her a place with my Hunter's. Her heart was taken already. A pity, but of course, she had made a choice long before this moment.
'Thank you,' she managed to say.
One of my Hunter's stepped forward, and nodded.
'The fight is not over yet,' she muttered, notching her own arrow.
There wasn't even warning when the branch slammed into her and sent my Huntress flying into a tall Oak Tree.
'No!' I screamed, and drew my silver hunting knives.
Before one of my girls could even try to stop me, which they would have, I ran from the fray, exposing that I was Artemis, and not even caring.
'You'll pay for that blow, wild beast,' I shouted, and was there.
Stab, hit, dodge. It was a pattern for a few minutes, and then finally, I grabbed at his dirty top and pulled myself high onto his back.
'No fun!' he had enough time scream before I slammed the blade between his shoulder blades and he turned to dust beneath me.
The scream echoed, but I had a hard enough time organizing myself to roll when I hit the ground. My ankle twisted slightly, and my clothes got even more messed up, my hair pulled. But I had killed the creature that had caused so much trouble.
A Huntress, her name was Sky, ran as fast as she was able to closer to me. She had joined the Hunter's sixteen years ago, and had been loyal for all that time.
'My Lady! Let me help,' she gushed, but I shook her away and stood.
'Dear girl, could you attend to the half-bloods? The male in particular, as I feel he is not long for this world.'
'B-But My Lady. A Male. His time is over now, so he must stay...' she trailed off, her blue eyes blazing.
'A half-blood will not die tonight. We don't pick and choose who we save, and he is in need of urgent help. Just this once Sky,' I said softly, my eyes trailing over the fallen boy.
She set her face into a rigid mask, unfeeling, but she picked her way carefully to his side, and felt his head.
My other Hunter's sent disgusted looks his way, but sat hard onto the mossy ground and talked quietly among themselves.
'He's in the early stages of anemia My Lady. Blood loss is not something that can be healed easy,' Sky called, and carefully ripped some of her own jacket, starting the cleaning of the wound.
'Stanch the flow of blood, bind tight. Charlie, do you have Ambrosia and Nectar? Bring it over,' my voice was commanding, stern.
The black haired girl rooted through the ever present bag over her shoulder, pulling the bag and flask out. Then she stood on shaky feet, and walked slowly to my side.
'She is in love my Lady,' she muttered.
'Yes, but he doesn't deserve to die. The beast wasn't an innocent. He is.'
Taking the God Food offered, I made my own way over and sat carefully beside the girl, my pants already dirty.
'Hello. Your okay yes? But even when good, its best to eat some of this,' I smiled kindly, and handed her a square of the Ambrosia.
Sky took the bags from my hands, and put them by her side while she quickly bound the wound. A quick worker.
'He can be trusted to eat some of the food My Lady,' she whispered, the look on her face saying plainly she blamed him for the fallen Hunter.
But she wasn't fallen, because as we had been fighting over saving the poor half-blood, the girl had sat herself up, and one of the other Hunter's had started to tend to her.
'My dear, help him. And child. What's your name?' I asked the girl, my smile slightly tightened.
And so Sky started to care for the boy, color coming back to his cheeks with the first drink of nectar.

Jason's eyes opened slightly. "I'm not dead?" Were the first words out of his mouth. Then he got a wild look in his eyes and sat bolt upright. "Cyclopes! Everywhere!" Then his breathing settled down and he calmed down and looked around. "They're dead.... Who killed..." The he sees the hunters "please tell me you didn't wake me just to kill me." He said. Then he looked at kaylin "are you ok? I'm sorry. I failed you again. I couldn't even protect you against A stupid Cyclopes. I'm so sorry. Please tell me you aren't hurt." He says.

"Yes, I'm alright," she answered. "Thank you," Kaylin said, accepting the ambrosia square and nibbling at it, as instructed. She was thankful for it, instantly feeling quite better.

"My dear, help him," she heard the goddess say to one of the other hunters. She glanced at Jason momentarily and watched as the girls work to save him, letting out a sharp sigh of relief when she watched the color return to his face. "And child. What's your name?"

Kaylin turned back to her immediately. "My name is Kaylin Everet, daughter of Hecate," she answered introductorily. Hearing Jason's voice, Kaylin turned her head to acknowledge him, thankful that Jason seemed to be alright, or at least to be doing better. With a weak smile she shook his head at him. He wasn't fully healed and moving around would just make things worse. The Hunters already hated the fact that they had to help him. If he started being uncooperative they would certainly stop. She was worried for him.

"I'm fine," she insisted with a nod. "You didn't fail me, just please, try to rest," she said with a smile before turning her attention back toward the goddess. Kaylin was still both shaken and awestruck by the whole situation, though she was trying very hard not to break down in front of the Hunters and the Goddess of the Hunt herself. They were all such strong females, keeping their heads even after facing the fear of almost losing one of their own. What would that say about Kaylin if she lost it? "I... I'm sorry that you were hurt," Kaylin began nervously, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear and out of her face. It was strange. A year ago, she came across information regarding the Hunters of Artemis, never shaking the desire to join. Those thoughts seemed to surface even know because of her gratitude. But there was Jason... Kaylin encountered a moment of internal conflict...

Jason sat back. He was scared, and weak. He just got beaten down by a freaking Cyclopes. He can't even protect kaylin. What if she rejected him and ran off with the hunters. He would never be able to live with himself after. He decided just to watch Kaylin to judge her reactions. When she spoke to the hunters. Or looked at them he saw something... Then his heart almost broke right there and then. That looks like envy. She wants to join them a bit. She might leave me. Oh gods no no no! She can't! If she does.... I swear on the river sticks I'm going to punch freaking Aphrodite in the face next time I see her. Now Jason was really scared, was the best thing that ever happened to him already over? He hoped that if it was they would at least be friends after and she wouldn't just leave him alone and heart broken.

I nodded to the girl, Kaylin, and smiled slightly.
'My Hunter's are stronger than you would think, Kaylin. Don't worry for their health.'
Yes. Certainly in love with this boy, and he was clearly in love with her. It would bring heartbreak to offer.
Not that heartbreak was ever avoided. Someone was always hurt in the crossfire of choice. Hunter's that joined hurt their family. Children that nearly died in a Cyclops attack hurt those who loved them.
My Hunter, Sky, stood quickly, jerky movements and a plain look of disgust on her face, almost running back to my other girls, and sitting beside her friends Rayne and Melody. They dropped their heads, and muttered quietly, no doubt obscenities about the male. As for Charlie, she stood a little to my left, watching carefully, knowing the love that was present, and intrigued. She had a very negative thinking of love, and was no doubt wondering what Kaylin saw in this boy.
'Kaylin, may I ask. Why were you out here? And how did our hunted come to you?' I said softly, carefully choosing my words.
Of course, it had probably smelt them. A child of Hecate.. and whatever the boy was. A half-blood, undoubtedly. From what I was able to see, Ares maybe?
Charlie chose that moment to step forward, and distastefully stare down at the fallen male.
'Your lucky, child, that Lady Artemis does not turn you into a Jackalope. Endangering a Maiden's life, and your own.'
I held up my hand at that point, and clicked my fingers.
'Charlie, it may be better if you went over to the other Hunter's for a time,' I looked at the demigods, and quickly continued, 'There will be no turning into Jackalope's.... today.'
With that, I stood, and offered a hand to Kaylin while Charlie walked back and sat with Sky.

Jason glared at Charlie before he spoke to her "I went down guarding her. I brought her here thinking it was clear then the monster started messing with our minds. I took the lead so she wouldn't get hurt. So watch your words, girl." He paused looking surprised before he said "where did that.... D**N IT DAD! He did it again. I'm sorry! My father is ares. He uh... He doesn't like how I'm nice he tends to make me do stuff like that to some people I'm getting better at preventing it!" Jason said looking kinda beat down that he actually said that. He was feeling better now and stood up. Looked around then jumped straight up into a tree a few seconds later sky let out a scream of panic followed closely by a yell of pain from a Cyclopes. There was Jason standing there behind the newly formed dust pile knife out. Behind a shaken sky. "Your welcome" he said as he walked back over to join kaylin. He leaned over and whispered "your not going to join them right?"

Kaylin gladly took Artemis' hand and allowed the goddess to help her get to her feet. She thanked her and thought of how to answer her question. She couldn't lie. She knew better. Growing up, lying resulted in the worst punishments. She stole a glance at Jason. Artemis would blame him if she didn't word things right. "We," Kaylin began, though she stopped there and rephrased. "I wanted to see the park," she informed truthfully.

Before she could get another word in, Jason spoke, clearly stating that he had brought her there. She could feel the negative tension building. Jason didn't seem like himself though, and it kind of freaked her out. She completely believed him when he said it was Ares that brought that out of him. She heard from a camper once that just being in that god's presence could fill you with rage. In all honesty, the random fit of rage reminded her of her father. She found herself flinching away from him when he touched back down after being up in that tree, though she relaxed once he was standing next to her, back to normal, asking if she was going to join the Hunt. He seemed a little scared, but she couldn't do that to him. He was the only person to ever care about her... though Artemis generally seemed to care, even knowing how much she liked Jason...

Kaylin glanced over at Jason and gave him a reassuring smile before she turned back to address the others. "Please, try not to blame... I-I knew the dangers, but... I've been stuck at camp year round for two years and I just..." she trailed off, still not completed sure how she should answer. "He said we wouldn't," she stopped and began again, knowing that tidbit would do nothing to change their opinion of him. "I'm sorry, she said finally, an apology directed at everyone.

"Why are you apologizing kaylin. It's completly my fault I'm the sorry one here. If I hadn't brought you here we wouldn't be in this mess. I don't care what the hunters think of me. I will not let you take the blame for something that is my fault." Jason said, his tone making it obvious that this was completly true and it wasnt just to look good. "If they want to hate me for my stupid idea. Then let them, they will not pass judgement on you. I only care about you. Your my whole world kaylin" his tone became softer and more in the way of he really cared for her. Right there and then he didn't acknowledge the hunters, he only knew that there was him and kaylin, we were all that matters. Then his face went red when he remembered the hunters standing there and he turned towards them "You will not pass judgement on kaylin for this. You will pass judgement on me instead. For the record, if I end up a jackalope for this, you will all find that they can be very very painful enemies." He said to them. He turned back to kaylin leaned in and whispered into her ear "Kaylin.... I'm not sure how to say this, I've never had to before but, I love you." Then he pulled back and looked at her. He just couldn't believe that she was his girlfriend now. It was perfect.

Jason leaned back in and kissed kaylin on the cheek, he didn't care that the hunters saw. She needed to know that he really meant that he loved her. He loved her and he knew it was true. (Sorry edit tool wasnt working so I had to double post to add this in).

My own distaste of Male's, despite how I had acted recently, made me recoil slightly. The cheek he had to so openly show love to her, and to openly kiss her.
But not my fault and not my choice. My only concern in this matter was Kaylin. Although I did laugh lightly at his remark on Jackalope's being dangerous enemies.
'Child, you would not believe how many times that I have heard that. People don't take into account who I am when they speak.'
Almost to prove a point, I shook my silver bracelet into the palm of my hand, and concentrated. It morphed, shifting, elongating, and soon I was holding an arrow, with a pointed silver tip and pretty spirals going up the shaft. Closing my palm, when I opened it again I was holding my bracelet, and I shook it back on.
'And I pass no judgement today. Your bravery shows even to the Hunter's, although they don't show it. And I certainly see it. Kaylin, you have a place in the Hunter's if you ever want it. Just know that.'
I said it like I hadn't just shown them my bracelet turning into an arrow.
'And also, I like Jackalope's. A Son of Ares would not make a good Jackalope.'
My Hunter's let out a tinkling laugh, and I smiled.
My hair swung into my face, a flurry of Auburn and moss, and I carefully pulled out a Golden Drachma from my pocket.
'You should both call to your Camp. Iris should be listening today, with her Daughter here and such,' a quick glance to Charlie, who grinned quickly to me.
I tossed the coin, knowing that there was enough time for one of them to catch it.

OOC:/:/ I'm sure its fine Jason XD And me and Blu were plotting your death something to happen. Maybe Jason could like, insult Artemis loads in your next post. And she turns him into a Jackalope. For a little while. Enough for a few posts anyways. And then she'll turn him back. K?

Jason looked at aretimis. "I know who you are. And your right I wouldn't be a good jackalope. I'd be a real pain in your rear." He turned to kaylin and let some emotion show on his face, fear, "are you going to go with them? I stand by you whatever your choice is." He said, his face showing that he didn't want her to leave because he would still love her no matter what, but if she did he would be strong for her. "I don't want you to leave. Sure immortality is great, but would you like to spend eternity with people who hate me because I was born a male? Because I have emotions and I enjoy life instead of following a blind goddess who just hates males?" He said. His tone was mostly level but just enough so kaylin could tell Jason was saying this out of fear of losing her, and he really meant none of it, he just hated how he stood up and got injured for kaylin then this goddess decides hey lets take her from him. "Someone who can't even comprehend what I feel for you. Who would rather me dead than here to fight away any of the monsters who challenge us. Someone who would just throw away your life!" He said. Inside he was quite shocked at this. And he wanted to protest that this was his dad taking over again but he had no control.

OOC: after I come back to being a human after jackalopeness, I am going to basically make something up that ends my dad taking over me.

Kaylin's eyes widened slightly as Jason placed a kiss on her cheek, watching the goddess as he did. Artemis was visibly taken aback by the action, as expected. This left Kaylin a little embarrassed, perhaps a ashamed, completely frightened for his safety, and at the same time, she could help but crack a small smile. The fact that he would do something like despite their audience was reassuring. She got butterflies in her stomach. Then, her smile faded when Artemis verbally invited her to join the Hunters. At one time, she would have immediately accepted. Now, it just made her sad. On one hand, Jason meant a lot to her, and on the other, being a Hunter was something she had wanted for a long time.

She was torn for a moment, too stunned to move, though she was forced to when Artemis tossed the gold drachma. Kaylin caught it easily and studied it, thankful for the momentary distraction. She focused on nothing but that coin as Jason began to speak, though she saw him turn to her out of the corner of her eye and she looked up, meeting his gaze. She kept his gaze as he spoke. He loved her so strongly that it made her a little guilty. He had her up on a pedestal, but what if she could not feel as strongly for him as he did for her? And what would that strong love mean in this moment? He was verbally attacking the goddess and her Hunters as he spoke, simply out of fear of losing Kaylin. Everything he was saying... he was on the right path to feeling the wrath of a goddess just to show that love.

"Jason, stop," she pleaded, though it was halfheartedly. So many questions were running through her mind: Would Jason truly respect her decision if she chose to join them? Would he love her no matter what? What did he mean that Artemis would throw Kaylin's life away? Was that really him talking? If it was Ares speaking through him again, why would the god of war make him say something like that about Artemis? But maybe the most pressing question of all: What was Artemis going to do with Jason after everything he just said?

Now I was one of the more forgiving of the Olympian's, but even I did not take this. Especially from a MALE.
'I am not a blind Goddess. If anything, I see more than the others, and can help Mortal's more because of my role. I can comprehend the love you feel, because I feel it every day towards my Hunter's. And I know full well you feel emotions, and that I most certainly would not have let you die. And my question becomes, how would I throw her life away? Ask my Hunter's, and they would tell you their stories and how they finally felt they belonged once joining. Charlie, she would. Skye, she would. You are the one throwing a life away, and it is not Kaylin's,' my voice was soft, dangerous, plainly stating what would happen next.
'Words are sharper than a knife or arrow. They cut deeper than any other weapon, and they cut harder. I hope that you will reflect upon those words.'
With that, I flicked my hand, and the chaos started. Jason shifted, a silver light seemingly around him as he shrunk, grew ears, grew a fluffy tail, and especially the noticeable antlers. My Hunter's laughed, pointing at the newly formed Jackalope and standing to get a better look. It had been a few months since I had last made a Jackalope, and the thrill made me wish there were more Male's around. For a moment.
Then I remembered Kaylin, and looked solemnly at her through my hair.
'Disrespect does not go unnoticed among God's Kaylin. Even after a Monster Attack, with tempers running high,' this time my voice was soft, a hint of danger, but some pity.
The Jackalope that had been Jason scratched at the ground, and wrinkled his nose. They made such cute animals.

Panick ran through Jason he was changing. He wanted to scream no that wasn't me I swear! He hated his father if he could he desperately wanted to ask Artemis if she knew how to get his father to stop. He was a jackalope now. He was scared, he lost kaylin. He saw that doubt in her eyes. And his heart shattered to pieces. She didn't love him did she. She wanted to go with them. Now with her boyfriend being a jackalope there was nothing to stop her. But that doubt. Did she even love him? He wanted nothing more than to tell her that if she wanted to go she could. Sure he would miss and everything but he would respect it and let her go. His heart would follow her. He spotted the girl, Skye, pulling a bow out to shoot at the jackalope. Panic ran through Jason. He couldn't fight, he couldn't run, and kaylin probably was not in love with him. He was a stupid jackalope. All because of his father. He turned towards Skye as she drew her bow or at least something that looked like that. He gave her a defiant glare as he could manage being a jackalope. It was practically saying kill me. Please. Ill get away from this.

OOC: stoping Skye from killing me by turning me back or something would be nice. And also once I'm back normal, could like aretimis like know a way to get ares to stop making Jason rage?

It was clear that Artemis felt bad for doing what she had just done, but she felt it for Kaylin, not for Jason. Artemis knew that she was taking away someone that was very important to Kaylin, but she did not feel sorry for him. Kaylin could tell that the goddess was deeply hurt and offended by the way Jason claimed she would throw a maiden's life away and could not comprehend love. But she did feel love, for her Hunters. It was a motherly love, a sisterly love that they all shared. Kaylin had never felt that love either. She was an only child. Her mother left after she was born. It had only been Kaylin and her father, and that man loved Kaylin's powers, not Kaylin. That love... it was something Kaylin desperately wanted to have and feel. She could have that with the Hunters...

But, Jason... he still meant a lot to her. "Love is dangerous," Kaylin muttered, staring wide-eyes at the Jackalope that now lay where Jason stood just a few moments ago. This was her fault. His strong feelings for her drove him to say those things, didn't they? Kaylin knelt in front of the small creature with her back to the goddess and her Hunters. She tried to inconspicuously wipe away a tear that managed to protrude her eye and creep down her cheek. She did not want them to see her cry. "Is he... are you going to leave him this way?" Kaylin asked, keeping her voice even despite her tears.
