Meiko had been running and running in the night. She had lost her cousin (and sister) Meira, and now she's lost. The fox had fled, yes, but she still have to run. Her cousin told her that.

Finally, she stopped at Thalia's pine, exhausted. She's planning to run as fast as she could, but her breath had almost left her. She wanted for someone to come, maybe Meira, but she saw her ran past this big tree. She just have to follow. But, can she?

Suddenly, she collapsed, not being able to continue.

Aria was singing to herself quietly as she wandered over the hill. She'd decided to visit Thalia's pine for no apparent reason. Maybe to look at the view. The view was always good up there. But, instead of finding a good view Aria found a collapsed girl. She sprinted over to her and knelt. "Hello? Can you hear me?" she asked urgently.

Meiko is lost in her dreams. Scenes shifted. She saw her cousin, Meira, waving at her, urging her to leave their house. And then, she saw the fangs of the Teumessian Fox, aiming at them. She closed her eyes, and heard a howl.

Meiko knew she was dreaming. She needed to wake up. She heard a voice, a voice so faint and urgent. She wanted to answer, but she couldn't.

"Ummm, err." Aria said, frantically searching for something physically wrong with the girl. She just seemed to be exhausted. And stupid Aria didn't have any nectar or ambrosia on her. Maybe she should shock the girl? Aria wasn't a daughter of Apollo so she couldn't heal, but a daughter of Zeus could give someone an electric shock to wake them up. "I'm sorry." she murmured before poking the girl with a finger and giving her an electric shock.

Meiko continue losing her consciousness. Slipping away from the light...

"OW!" she yelled, jumping from her sleep. She'd almost banged the girl beside her, and Meiko jolted back, now hitting herself on the pine tree's trunk. "Ow, that hurts," Meiko muttered, but she's glad she's awakened. Someone shocked her, and she's grateful.

Still exhausted, Meiko looked up to the girl, and smiled slightly. "You must be the one who woke me up," Meiko guessed, still breathing hard.

"Um yeah. Sorry." Aria said lamely. She gazed down at the girl with concern. "Are you hurt in any other way besides exhaustion?" she asked. Aria really hoped this girl would be okay. She never liked it when people died, or were injured for that matter. "I'm Aria, by the way." she added.

Meiko nodded. "I-I'm not really hurt, just exhausted," she said uncomfortably. "Oh, and I'm Meiko F-"she gasped, "Frontier. I'm half-Japanese," she said, then paused.

"I-Is this... a camp? Camp Half-blood?"

Aria nodded in understanding. Then she smiled. "Yes, this is Camp Half-Blood." she said kindly. Then Aria paused. "Do you think you can sit up? I can help you if you like?" It would help Aria see how weak Meiko was if she couldn't sit up. And if she could then that was great.

"I... I think I'm okay," Meiko said replied. She tried to sit up, and succeeded, although she almost lost balance. She touched the pine tree for support. Then she looked to Aria with some questions in her eyes.

"Are you a demigod, too? My cousin said I am one..." Meiko said, uncomfortable. "Where is Meira?"

Aria watched as Meiko succeeded in sitting up. That was good, it meant that she wasn't too weak. Then Aria smiled. "Yes I'm a demigod. My father is Zeus, lord of the skies. Do you know who your godly parent is?" she said/asked. While she was answering Meiko's first question, Aria was also worrying about the second. She had never heard of someone called Meira. That would probably be sad for Meiko. But, Aria would tell the truth. Meiko would probably find out later anyway. "And I am sorry, but I don't know who or where Meira is.

Meiko's violet eyes turned sad. As she looked into Aria's eyes, Meiko knew the girl was telling the truth. Meiko started to think of returning home--to her REAL home--but her cousin said she needed to stay here.

"I-uh," Meiko started to reply, "Meira said... that my godly parent is Apollo, god of the sun, poetry, medicine. But I do not understand her." Meiko's eyes turned even sadder.

Aria's eyes saddened. She understood how Meiko felt. "It means that your true father is a God. Apollo is you father according to your sister." she explained. This was probably sounding crazy to Meiko. But that was how it always was.

Meiko started shaking her head. The girl, Aria, would have think she's too weak, collapsing from exhaustion and all that. But she really can't take it anymore. Her cousin was lost. If she turned around and go home... monsters would eat her. If she decided to go to this camp... well, she have a vague feeling she's going to be ignored. But then, her cousin told her to meet... Chi-Chiron, she said?

She decided to ask Aria. "C-can you take me to... C-Chiron?" she asked hesitantly. "Meira told me to meet him... or her, somehow."

Aria's face broke into a smile. "Well that's easy! All new demigods meet him anyway." she said brightly. Finally, something she could do. "Come on. I'll help you up."

Meiko's legs was still wobbly, but she took the pine tree's support. She looked up at the daughter of Zeus. Meiko smiled slightly, then said: "Gee, really, Aria, thanks for coming with me!"

Meiko was really grateful. At least she would not feel so alone in camp.

"It's really no problem." Aria said with a smile. She liked helping people. Especially when she had been doing nothing before hand. Boredom was one of Aria's worst enemies so she was always happy to help people when she was bored. Plus it got her some new friends. Aria always enjoyed more friends.

((Well, at the moment nobody plays Chiron as a canon and we can't do it ourselves. So maybe just do it at the Big House?))
