"Oh stop holding back. Just because I'm five doesn't mean I'm incapable of listening to you and uderstanding!" I yelled.

I flinched a bit. And gods, she's so...ugh. It must be her mother's traits. Heh. "It's nothing, okay?!?" I asked/said firmly.

I sat down on the ground and started crying.

I frowned. Oh gods I feel horrible... I sat down as well, and wrapped her in my arms. "Emily, I'm really really sorry, okay? I didn't mean to make you cry."

I contiued to cry as he apologized, "I stepped on rock!!" I choked out. I showed him my now bloody foot.

I rolled my eyes a bit. "You'll get better," I said. "Here," I picked her up. "Let's take you to the Infirmary."
