Talking to Chiron

"Abby!" I shout, running into Chiron's office. My sister was in serious trouble, and I couldn't believe it. This wasn't going to get us Hades kids good rep. After all, we already were shoving into the worst cabin or the basement. People obviously didn't like us.

I roll towards the others, still in my "wheelchair." "Yes, my boy? What seems to be the problem?" I don't smile, keeping my face without a mood. I had nothing else to say, I just needed to listen.

Keeping my face serious, I looked at them. "Oh my." I said and looked at Abby. Like every other camper I talked to, I remembered her. "My boy, are you sure? How, may I ask, did you know." I asked him. It was dangerous to accuse such a thing to another camper.

Chiron rubbed his templates, knowing he was the one who's gonna give the choice. "My girl, we do not approve of helping Kronos. But, my dear, could you please explain why before wwe get to the punishment?" he asked.

But before anyone could respond, the campers attacked one another. "Children, calm down!' he yelled over the panic.

"My dear, let's not do anything harsh." he said. Seeing the chaos of the campers, he rose into his full height and pushed the wheelchair away. "Now, tell us what happened and why you did what you did."

He shook his head. "But there must be more my dear. You can't tell us that your going to sacrifice everyone, including your siblings, because of what Kronos is offering you." he said. His bow and arrows grew heavy as he slung it to his back.

Chiron sighed. It was always hard to choose the death of someone. "For what matters, I won't be the one to kill you my dear. It is not for me to choose." He nodded to the others. "They knew you better my dear. I would let them be the verdict."

Chiron's features darkened. "That, my dear, is a matter that depends on you. If you want to make it privately, we could understand. But if you would want it publicly, I would first ask why." he said. He still was regestering the fact that she didn't care for her siblings. 'We are, as a matter of fact, a big extended family.' he thought.

He turned to the others. "Children, I have no control over your opinion on the subject. It is in your hands her life depends upon. I must back down to whatever you chose. As for the wepons, it may be of service to theAthena cabin or in the wepon shack,"

Chiron lifted the arm that held the knife. "Child, there are other possible ways to end this. We could chose another path for you, but not this." he pointed to the knife. He looked at her with the tired face. He was indeed tired, but not of training heros, but of seeing them lose hope and die.
