Winston walked around the arena, watching all the other demigods slashing at each other and dodging flying arrows. He wasn't much of a fighter, being an Apollo kid, but he did still have a weapon; a set of dual swords that can connect at the hilts, making a double sword, and if Winston used magic, a bow. He set his hands on his swords, walking around slowly, making sure he wouldn't get hit by a flying axe.

"Bloody hell, some of these kids are merciless," he muttered, remembering some kids that had landed themselves in the infirmary when there was an accident in the arena. Having those incidents was never fun, but he and his half-siblings always managed to get the demigods patched up with some nectar and ambrosia.

Winston sat down on a bench that was lined along the edge of the arena, watching the kids fighting, hoping he might be able to learn something from the demigods. He eventually lost focus, and his head started playing some song in his head, probably Fall Out Boy or Muse. He started humming the tune, tapping his hands and feet to the beat.

Among the fighters, or dodgers really, was a girl wearing a peasant skirt and peasant top, her mid-drift showing. Her hair, half shaved, was the color of caramel and her eyes a deep purple, well known among the children of the Wine God. Brianna didn't like to fight. So she often helped teach the younger campers proper defensive techniques. Today was dodging and basic shield defense.

She stood on one end of the arena, looking one way, then the other, as if she were about to cross the street...and then stepped out. If there was one thing Brianna was, it was light on her feet and quick with her reflexes. She began an intricate walk through the chaos of the arena, balanced on bare toes. What she couldn't dodge, she blocked with her round, bronze shield. Duck, spin, shift, sidestep, shift, duck. She moved along with ease. As she came closer to the Apollo male... he could hear her humming what sounded like a Kesha song. "I only wanna dance with yooooou." she sang under her breath, smiling as she finished her route.

The mocha-eyed demigod looked around, recognizing someone humming. He didn't recognize the song, just that someone was singing. It must've been a reflex for Apollo kids. He saw a girl with a half-shaved head of caramel hair, and wine colored irises. As she got closer to him, he realized that she was the girl humming. He leaned forward, his elbows on his knees, and his hands held together. "What're you humming? It sounds really nice, whatever it is," the Brit complimented, grinning at the girl. The demigod wasn't sure what to think of the girl with his first glance. She was obviously into some kind of punk style, and she enjoyed music, which the humming gave away. He tilted his head with curiosity as he waited for the girl to reply.

The strange hippie-style girl smiled, blinking at him. A lot of British folks at camp lately! Not that she was complaining, the accent was awesome! "It's Kesha. Only Wanna Dance with You." she offered the artist and title, adjusting her shield. "Do you like party music?" she asked, smiling sweetly.

Winston smiled, and leaned back, relaxing a bit. "I enjoy it sometimes. It really depends when it's being played and how I'm feeling," he said, trying to play all the party songs he had heard through his head. "I'm not super familiar with party music, as I don't really go to many parties, never had, really. I mostly listen to alternative or pop punk. I listen to all other kinds of music, though," he said. "So, what kind of music are you in to? Other than party music, that is," he asked, his grin creating dimples in his cheeks.

Blinking, she tilted her head, blinking at him curiously. "Well, I'm the daughter of Dionysus, so it's sorta my thing." she grinned, hands on her hips. "Kesha is probably my half sister... considering all her songs are about booze and parties. But I don't know for sure." she giggled, pondering. "Do you like to dance?"

The Brit boy listened intently while the wine-god's daughter spoke. Her theory about Kesha being a daughter of Dionysus sparked ideas in Winston's head. What if she really was? All the fame and fans might hide her from the monsters...

He shook his head, and looked up at the girl. "Do you like to dance?" she asked him. Winston's faced changed to a bright red. "If I ever do dance, it's normally in the privacy in my room. I'm kind of self-conscience of the way I dance, being an awkwardly tall white boy from Britain," Winston answered, trying to be as kind as possible. He didn't want to offend the girl he had just met.

Winston suddenly realized that he hadn't even introduced himself. "I'm Winston, by the way. Son of Apollo, if you couldn't tell already," he said, still slightly blushing.
