Ameilia Faith Smith walked into the cabin tentatively. According to Alissa this would be her home. Maybe Ameilia could just slip in and pretend she'd been there all along? But no, that wouldn't work. She still had all her claiming clothes and make up on. It was a sure sign that she was new, if only to the cabin. Ameilia gazed around the room, slightly apprehensively. She couldn't really tell if she was alone or not.

When Layla walked into the cabin there was someone there. It was mid-morning so some of the Aphrodite kids were still eating breakfast. They always took long to get ready. It didn't for her. She was wearing her Stop Making Sense shirt with her blue shorts. She had her brown boots on and some makeup on, but not a lot. She sat on her bed and said, "Hi. I'm Layla. I guess your my half-sister unless your lost." She said unsure.

"No, I'm in the right place." Ameilia said. Well, she should be anyway. Unless Alissa led her to the wrong cabin. But this place felt like home. Even if t was all pink and smelt like perfume. It was completely unlike Ameilia, but it felt right. She smiled slightly at the girl, who introduced herself as Layla. She hadn't expected to meet a sibling this quickly. "Nice to meet you. I'm Ameilia. And I have a question. How long does this claiming make up stay on for?"

"Good thing your in the right place." She said, then smiled. When Ameilia asked that question she knew the answer. "It doesn't stay on long. Only because the Hermes kids are always playing pranks on us." Layla said. She sighed. It did get annoying after awhile. They were always playing pranks on them from stealing their makeup to putting stink bombs around the cabin. It always got her mad. Then she had to ask Amelia something. "Have you eaten breakfast yet? If not I could show you to the Mess Hall. They're serving french toast, eggs, bacon, sausage and orange juice. I don't know what happened to the real lunch ladies. They always give us cereal and expired milk. I think Chiron might've bribed them to make us a better breakfast. But if you have will you help me with a little favor?" She asked. She had a devious idea.

"Yeah, I've had breakfast." Ameilia said. She did have some practical knowledge after all. She'd also packed some clothes. That was just as well, now she wouldn't have to strut around the camp in this elaborate dress. She smiled faintly at Layla's second question. "Sure, I'll help. But first I'm getting changed." Ameilia walked into the bathroom and quickly changed into the jeggings and the shirt she had brought. She didn't really feel like jeans today for some reason. Ameilia re-entered the main cabin and chucked her bag on a free bed. Then she looked expectantly at Layla. "So what did you want me to help you with?"

"You can change. I don't mind." She said. While Ameilia was changing she was thinking of her devious idea. She did need a little help, but she wasn't going to ask a Hermes kid. When Ameilia came out she wore something a little more comfortable than her dress. "Nice outfit. Could you help me with something dangerous? Well, the Hermes kids are always playing pranks on us. That's why we can get mad like really mad." She said. She got up from her bed and went to a green spot on the carpet. "This is where the Hermes kids always put a stink bomb. In this exact place. So would you help me get some pay-back on them?" She asked.

Ameilia smiled at Layla's comment before listening attentively to her idea. Get revenge on some children of Hermes? Well, Ameilia usually didn't take part in payback. She just wasn't devious enough. But she didn't want to disappoint her half-sister. She should at least find out what she had to do before making a decision. "Well, it depends. What do you want me to do?" she asked quietly. Hopefully nothing really bad. Maybe she would be a distraction while Layla comitted the crime?

"I don't know what kind of prank I'm going to do on them. So would you help me just think of a prank?" She asked. She had thought of this plan before. Then she realized they're always in their cabin. So how was she going to prank them? Also they were too smart for her to prank them. "You know what? Never mind. They're too smart for me to prank them. So for me to welcome you here do want to go get a smoothie? And then we could go shopping if you want. My treat." She said. She smiled. Layla never almost never got to welcome any of her siblings when it was their first time coming here, so she wanted to make Ameilia's first time here special.

Ameilia was about to object to her helping think if a prank when Layla changed her mind. That was good, Ameilia would've been no help at all for thinking of a plan for revenge. She just wasn't a devious person. She smiled at Layla. "That's sounds great. But you don't have to pay, I've got money." Ameilia didn't really like people paying for her. It made her feel like she owed them.

"No, I insist. C'mon it's the least I can do since your new." She said. She smiled. Layla knew this was going to be fun. She had never gone shopping with one of her siblings before. She couldn't to go shopping. That was the thing she loved most, but with a sibling it would be even more fun. "Let me just go get my money." She said. She got up from her bunk and went to her dresser. She pulled out some money and put it into her pocket. She satb back on her bunk and said, "Are you ready?"

"Okay, then." Aneilia said, realizing it was futile to argue with Layla. She would just keep playing the 'your new' card, and Ameilia had no good argument against it. She smiled as Layla finished preparing. "Yep I'm ready, where are we going to go?" There were about a million places to shop in New York. Where would Laylay go?

"Sorry. My fatal flaw is stubborness." She said. Then she smiled. "Well, we could go to lots of places. We could go to Aeropostale, H and M, and many other stores. Why don't we just walk around and then pick out whatever store we want to go to." She suggested. She always did that. She never knew what store she was going to so she simply did just that.

"Sounds great!" Ameilia said truthfully. She absolutely adored shopping. Or maybe all this time it had just been her Godly heritage influencing her. While Ameilia was thinking this she seemed to process the other thing Layla had said. "Wait, your fatal flaw? What's that?" Obviously she realised it was a flaw you had, but she didn't really get its context with this life and place.

Layla smiled. Today so far, has been a great day for her. Then Ameilia asked her question. "A fatal flaw is a flaw that's fatal. Like mine is stubborness. What's yours Ameilia?" She asked. She wondered what Ameilia's fatal flaw was.

Ameilia sighed silently as Layla said they would have to walk. She'd just walked basically all the way to camp, the last thing she wanted was more walking. But Layla kept her mouth shut and her face clear. "Sure, I don't mind. Let's go!" Ameilia walked out the front door of the cabin and turned around to wait for Layla.

When Ameilia sighed Layla didn't bother to ask. She knew why. She didn't want to walk, but walking was good exercise so pretty much it keeps you in shape. Layla followed Amelia outside and then asked, "How did you end up here? What's your back story?"

There was no need for details. Her former family members were things of the past. Now Ameilia could focus on herself. "What about you; how did you get here?"

"Olympus? As in home of the Gods Olympus?" Ameilia asked, her draw dropping in amazement. She had no idea that Olympus was a real place. And it was even weirder that demigods were allowed to go there. Maybe the Gids had let loose a little. In the myths only Gods were allowed up there. It was meant to be sacred or something. "How come you're down here if you could be up there?" she added curiously.
