Brief History:
Opal was born in Colorado. She lived there with her sister and her father for the early years of her life. But when James' job forced him to transfer, the Tyler family was uprooted from Colorado all the way to Georgia. Opal adjusted well to the move, but Georgette didn't. Opal was always a friendly girl. She had no problems fitting in just about anywhere. Years passed and the two twins were well adjusted. But then a very harpy attacked their home. Georgette died in the attack, and James forced Opal to move to Camp Half-Blood. Her sister's death was recent and it still haunts Opal. She misses her sister dearly. Sometimes, in the middle of the night, it's as if she can see her and feel her presence.
Physical Appearance:
Opal is a small girl. She stands at about 5'1" in height. She's not extremely thin and petite, since she still has some late layers of baby fat on her body. Despite the fact that she's not stick thin, Opal is comfortable with her appearance. She has icy pale skin. Her eyes are a cool shade of gray-blue. Her hair is strawberry blonde and curls into ringlets. It reaches to the tips of her shoulder blades. Her style is very girly. She likes dresses, and since she's immune to the cold, she tends to wear them year round.
Personality:
Opal is a sweet girl. She's kind, friendly, and likes to be around people. She can be very paranoid. Opal has an obsessive need to be accepted by people. She'll go as far as changing her personality to fit into a crowd. Opal is very easily influences by peer pressure. She'll do just about anything to be loved and accepted and she's susceptible to bad influence. Opal is a very artistic, creative person. She's herself when she's creating art.
Fatal Flaw:
Opal cares too much what people think. She's also too trusting

Talents:
Opal is immune to the cold, she's able to freeze and melt water and ice. Opal has the ability to manipulate ice and snow, but she isn't very in control of it yet.

Brief History:
Amethyst was born and raised in Alabama. Her father remarried when she was seven. Tina was nice, but she would always harp Amethyst about her weight. The daughter of Tyche always struggled with her weight. For as long as she could remember, she's always been the "fat friend". She convinced herself it didn't bother her. Tina was never satisfied. She forced Amethyst to go on diets, count her calories, and constantly put her down. Amethyst was also teased in school, because the other kids thought that she was insecure. This went on for years until she started snapping back with rude remarks and crude words. People avoided her after that. Amethyst fell in with a rough crowd. Many of them used illegal substances and were drunk half the time she was around them. Amethyst was known to participate from time to time, though she stuck more to alcohol than to drugs.
Physical Appearance:
Despite what Amethyst says about herself, she's a very beautiful girl. Yes, she is rather overweight. Most of her weight is carried in her hips and chest, though. So this still creates a nice hourglass figure. Amethyst has naturally brown hair that she dyes a plum purple. She experimented with a large amount of colors before deciding to stick with purple. Amethyst's eyes are silver and they shine in the light. Her skin is tanned and a light sprinkle of freckles decorates her cheeks, but she covers this up with make-up. Amethyst stands at about 5'7" in height, so she's rather tall. She wears lots of black, lots of leather, and can often be found wearing shirts with curse words on the front. She'll never be caught wearing girly clothes, though.
Personality:
Amethyst has a very sarcastic personality. She's very harsh and doesn't think twice before letting a rude remark slip off of her tongue. She's aware that sometimes people avoid her because of her crass personality, but she doesn't care. Deep down, although she hides this under her tough "I don't give a crap" exterior, she's very insecure. Amethyst has anger issues. She lashes out at people, sometimes without real reason. Amethyst has a very sarcastic and snarky sense of humor. Amethyst never takes compliments. She'll roll her eyes, make a joke, or just ignore someone when they compliment her. It's not some ploy to hear more positive remarks, she honestly doesn't believe them. Compliments make her very uncomfortable, and if people persist with them she often gets angry.
Fatal Flaw:
Amethyst's fatal flaw is how she keeps everyone at a distance. All her life she grew up believing that because she wasn't stick thin, she would always be alone. Because of that, she refuses to let anyone get too close to her. She has friends, but if romance ever tries to rear its ugly head, she closes herself off and pushes the person away.

Talents:
Amethyst has the ability to see visions of the future. She gets glimpses of things that are about to happen, with hardly any clues. She also has dreams, vivid dreams of events that are about to happen. The dreams come exactly a week before the event, and Amethyst remembers them clearly. Though the future is never set in stone, so her visions and dreams don't always happen.

Amethyst has a dagger that she both throws and uses in close combat.

Brief History:
Malachite was born and raised in New York. He's always been a city boy. His father died in a car accident when he was young, so Mal was forced to go live with his aunt, since he had no idea where his mother was. Aunt Sylvia did know that Malachite was a demigod, but she was always away in her library. The woman was obsessed with books. She almost refused to see the real world and would lock herself in her library for days. If Mal even tried to go into the library, she'd snap at him. Mal was left unattended during most of his childhood. When he was eleven, Aunt Sylvia shipped him off to Camp. He's been there ever since.
Physical Appearance:
Mal stands at an average 5'10" in height. He's average looking. He's not very built and he doesn't have much muscle. His arms and legs are rather gangly. Actually, there's hardly a trace of muscle on his body. Malachite has never been very strong. He has pale skin and a long face. His eyes are a hauntingly bright shade of sea foam green. His hair is brown and curly. Bangs brush his brow in a messy, unkempt fashion. His clothing is normal for a teenage boy. Lots of jeans, t-shirts, hoodies and sneakers. Malachite has never really thought of himself as attractive. He's always been average, but he doesn't consider himself a babe magnet or anything.
Personality:
Malachite is a funny kid. He's always had his humor and his goofy smile. He's a bit awkward around girls, especially pretty ones. But once you spend sometime with him the awkwardness goes away...most of the time. Malachite is a kind person. He's very trusting, understanding, and sweet. He's often that guy that gets friend-zoned. He can be resentful about this sometimes. Malachite relies on his humor as a shield. He keeps his emotions inside and deflects questions about them away with a goofy comment. He's a popular guy and pretty likable.
Fatal Flaw:
He'll do anything for his friends, even if it means risking his own safety or the safety of people he doesn't know.
Pets:
He has a cat named Jade.

Malachite doesn't have many talents, but he's very good with music. Sometimes it seems like he can influence your emotions with the songs he's playing. This isn't an actual power though. Being a son of Euterpe doesn't give him many strong powers, but he does have perfect pitch and a memory that allows him to remember lyrics and chords.

Malachite can't fight very well, but he has a sword for emergencies.

Brief History:
Topie spent most of his time hanging out with his uncle, who was stuck at home due to an injury that caused him to be in a wheelchair. Uncle Tommy was a strong willed man. Topie's mother worked almost all of the time. When Topie wasn't at home or at school, he was at the car garage with his mom. Topie had always been very gifted with mechanics. He fiddled with trinkets and was always caught building gizmos and gadgets. From the time Topie was young, he struggled with his sexuality. He was supposed to be the strong, confident guy. He worked with cars and he was manly, like his uncle. Topie was always terrified of what his uncle would do if he found out about his secret. His worst fears were realized. Topie had a "friend" over from school. Uncle Tommy caught the two boys kissing in Topie's bedroom. His uncle kicked the boy out and then proceeded to beat the living snot out of Topie. Topie's mother sent him away to camp after that, for fear that her brother might hurt her son. Topie kept his sexuality a secret from that point on. He refused to believe that he was gay, and would hide it with a a constant string of girls. But they meant nothing.
Physical Appearance:
Topie is tall. He stands at about 6'2" in height. He's a bulky, muscular boy. He gained muscle from working on cars most of his life. His skin is lightly tanned, since he spends a lot of his time outside. Topie has a few burns and scars from trinkets gone wrong. His large hands are very calloused. He has broad shoulders and a strong jaw line. His hair is blonde and curly. He keeps it cut short and styles it with gel. Topie likes clothes. He likes to have a put together look. However, because he works in the Armory so much, he often just wears tank tops. Many of these tank tops have grease and oil stains on them. Topie's eyes are a warm shade of hazel.
Personality:
Topie is a sweet boy, even though he doesn't like to admit it. He's kind and caring and very empathetic. Topie tries to keep up a strong exterior. He wants to seem tough and manly, like his uncle would want. Topie is actually quite emotional. The smallest thing can set him off. Topie has anger management issues. Because he beats himself up so much, he's in constant turmoil. He's always arguing with himself. He didn't used to hate the fact that he thought he was gay, but then his uncle beat him and scolded him. Topie has always only wanted to please his uncle. The man fought in a war and was injured in the line of duty. Topie wants to follow in his footsteps, but he's afraid. He's afraid he won't be good enough and afraid he won't be able to handle himself. Topie is actually very smart. He's good at math and science and often experiments and fiddles with different gadgets. Topie is a conflicted individual. With one side of him wanting to let loose, and another side trying its hardest to keep up an image, he's always at war with himself. The one part he hates about this the most are the girls. He hates that he's leading them on just to keep up his cover. Topie often beats himself up for things like that.
Fatal Flaw:
Topie doubts himself and his abilities. He doesn't have any faith in himself and doesn't believe he'll be successful in life.
Pets:
None, but he wants a dog.
Talents:
Topie can withstand heat better than most people. He has a gift for dealing with machines. Although weapon forging isn't his thing, Topie is always inventing new gadgets and fixing up cars.

He has a spear with a celestial bronze tip. He also has a shield that has a lion on the front.

Brief History:
Ruby's father was always so busy. He worked almost 24 hours a day, so Ruby never got to see him. And when he was actually home, he was still buried in his work and didn't have time for Ruby. Julian was the son of her father's wife before Ruby's mom, who was no where to be found. Julian was the oldest. He took the death of his mother, Jonathan's wife and true love, very hard. However, Julian took care of Ruby. She saw him as more of a parent than her actual father. As Ruby got older, she noticed boys starting to see her more. They looked at her with smirks, and she loved it. The first time that Ruby was caught with a boy, her father was furious with her. He spent time with her. From that moment on, Ruby changed. She worked her hardest to break the rules her father set in. Julian saw what she was doing and tried to talk his little sister out of it, but it didn't work. Ruby was sent to camp when her father decided she was too much trouble. He thought that the strict rules would keep her from boys. However, Ruby found a way.
Physical Appearance:
Ruby is a beautiful girl. She's petite and only stands at around 5'2". She has a thin build with stick-like arms and legs. Ruby has a heart-shaped face, even features, and a small nose. Her skin is pale. It freckles, rather than tans, when she's outside. Ruby's eyes are a crystal shade of blue. They're bright and they seem to glow. Ruby has freckles on her cheeks and nose, but she covers them up with a think mask of make up. Ruby never goes anywhere, not even training, without putting on make up first. She wears lots of black eyeliner and black mascara. Ruby's hair is fiery red. It's medium length and reaches to just below her shoulder blades. Ruby takes pride in her brightly colored hair. It waves and flips out in some places. Her bangs are long and swoop across her face. Ruby hardly ever pulls her hair back, but if she does it's in a messy bun. Ruby has a very girly, slightly revealing style of clothing. She likes tight shirts, deep v-necks, and short skirts. Ruby is aware of how people view her, and she's perfectly fine with it.
Personality:
Ruby has a personality as fiery as her hair. She's feisty and flirtatious. Ruby has an obsession with guys, but she fears commitment. She's all for flings and casual dating, but if things get too serious, she bolts. Ruby didn't start out this way, it was simply an act to get her father's attention. However, after years of perfecting her flirtation methods, Ruby is too far in to stop now. Ruby has always been feisty and spirited. She doesn't take crap from anyone or anything and will stand up for herself, even if she has no chance of winning. To say she's over confident isn't true, even though it appears to be. Ruby is very good at hiding fear and doubt in herself. Ruby is a very sarcastic person. He enjoys crude, inappropriate humor and isn't afraid to be blunt. Ruby is adventurous. She loves to explore and see hew things and she wants to one day travel the world.
Fatal Flaw:
Ruby sometimes hates that she made the decision to fool around with guys just to ger her father's attention. She wants to stop, but it's almost become an addiction. Ruby does want a family and a happy life, but she is afraid that she'll screw up anything serious. She doesn't believe in herself.
Pets:
None, but she plans to get a kitten at some point.
Talents:
Ruby does not have any demigod talents, but she's very good at flirting. She's also very good at getting people to do what she wants. However, Ruby knows as well as anyone, that unless someone secretly wants to do something, they won't.
Weapons:
Ruby has a bow and a quiver of arrows that she uses to defend herself. Because she doesn't have to spend time practicing any demigod abilities, Ruby has become a skilled archer.
