I stayed a little longer under than Avalon. I just wanted to think for a bit.
I resurfaced. I knew it was a long shot, and a little awkward, but I wanted to ask. "Um, Avalon?" I said. "I don't know what your gonna' say... but you you go out with me sometime?"

| I had no idea what a perfect first date would be. Especially inside of camp. I went underwater to think. That's when I remembered I heard people talking about something called the Spring Fling. When I got back to the surface I said, "We can go to the Spring Fling." | |

I had no idea. I had never been to a prom, or a dance, or anything like that. But, it was the best option. But I'd need to find something nice to wear. That was going to be tricky. "'Kay," I said, and went back underwater.

| I was kinda happy and kinda scared. At my old school we never really had any dances. And if we did I didn't go. This was probably the first dance I was going to. I went underwater to think of what to wear to the Spring Fling. | |
