(I'm on my phone now, not my comp so I'm not doing colour for Alex, it's already pretty slow to type xD)
Plopping down on the bench next to Liam, Alex observed him. Even in the brief time that she'd known him, he'd already changed a bit. He seemed more confident, somehow, but maybe that was just her- she never was a good judge. Turning her face from the boy, Alex gazed at the sunset. She'd always loved sunset, it was so calming. It seemed to mark the end of a day, right before a fresh start. The dying sun seemed to hold grief and nostalgia, yet with a hint of hope for a new dawn. Lost in her imaginings, it took her a moment to register Liam's words. Brushing a stray lock of hair behind her ear, she turned to face him.
"What? Oh... Yes, definitely a long day." Alex murmured. "Not a bad one, though."
