I hope I'm in the right place... But this will be my first character, so I'm pretty excited for when and if she gets accepted :D

Brief History: Alex Kayde was born on a snowy night in British Columbia, Canada. Her mother was working as a journalist at the time, traveling the world for a long-forgotten industry. The traveling is what caught the eye of Hermes, leading him to have a beautiful baby girl with Olivia.

Until her eleventh birthday, Alex was told that her father left on a business trip and never returned. She had been traveling all of her life, being thrown out of schools, and with her mother's ongoing job as a journalist. Eleven was when the monsters began hunting Alex and hQer mother, and it was then that she learned of her father. This began the perilous trip to Camp Half Blood, which Alex and her mother took alone, without the help of her step-father or sister.
Physical Appearance: Alex is moderate in height, for her age, with long, flowing light golden-brown hair. She has the sly look of a child of Hermes, although her features are softer than on most of her siblings. She would not, in fact,  look very much like your typical daughter of Hermes at all, if it weren't for her brilliant blue eyes and her athletic figure. She considers herself to look fairly average, although she is seen as rather pretty, with her sly looks and with her somewhat muscular build.
Personality: As all of Hermes' children, Alex is sly and cheeky, with a knack for tricks and thievery. As most demigods, she has dyslexia and ADHD, but is is not particularly strong, so long as she keeps up her reading and schoolwork, and if she exercises enough to lose some of her "hyperactivity". She is rather smart, though school is definitely not her top priority. Alex is fairly kind, although she has a fiery temper, and will not stand for betrayal. Because of this, she is very loyal, and is very protective of her friends and family. However, it is not a rare occurrence for her to lose her temper at anyone who pushes her in the slightest bit, though she is getting better at controlling her temper, slowly. She is unlikely to trust anybody right off the bat, but with time, she will be likely to warm up to most people and creatures.
Fatal Flaw: Although she does not show it, Alex's fatal flaw is a mix of pride and lack of control on her temper. She will rarely, if ever, ask for anything that could hurt her pride, and is sometimes driven to make rash decisions because of this.
Pets: In her second year at Camp Half Blood, Alex tamed and trained a baby hawk that had crashed into the window of the Hermes cabin. He isn't completely domestic, but he is loyal to her for saving his life. She named him Pouláki, which means "Little Bird" in Greek.
Talents: Alex was put through many sports as a child, since her ADHD was dampened with exercise and exhaustion- or at least, the hyperactivity part was. She learned many basic martial arts, and is in excellent shape from all of the other typical children's sports. She is also an excellent thief and prankster, being a child of Hermes, and is also a quick runner. Alex is not bad with intellectual stuff and schooling, but never really has been great at mathematics.
Weapons: Alex tends to fight with twin daggers, usually both, if not, only one. She has two twin celestial bronze daggers that she carries with her at all times. She is not bad with a sword, but is only okay with all other forms of weaponry.

Brief History: Charles Rae, Evelyn's father, was an odd type of man. He liked to travel, and worked odd jobs for the majority of his life. Nobody knows what Khione saw in him. Nonetheless, she saw something in the man, and they had a child together. The child was born in New York, although they never stayed there. Evelyn was always certain that there was something different about her. Whether it was the snow that always seemed to follow her from town to town, or the constant stream of people and things that tried to chase her. As a child, she dismissed everything as a part of her imagination, though as she grew older, she began to feel as if she was going crazy. Evelyn was never particularly dyslexic, and barely has ADHD at all. She seemed normal at school, though did get thrown out every once in a while for normal demigod reasons- monsters, fighting, accidentally freezing people she dislikes. Unlike many demigods, she became aware of her abilities on her own, before arriving at Camp Half Blood, and would use them at her discretion. However, two days after her twelfth birthday, the monsters chasing her began to increase in numbers, as Evelyn grew older and more powerful. Charles was forced to tell her of her mother, and sent her on the journey to Camp Half Blood.
Physical Appearance: With her thick, wavy chocolate-brown hair, her soft features and warm, honey-brown eyes, Evelyn seems to be the picture of innocence. Although, she is anything but. If you looked close enough, you may see the intelligent, calculating gleam in her eye, or the careful non-caring look on her face. Evelyn is muscular, but you would not tell just by looking at her. She is slim and moderately tall- just enough to be intimidating when she wants to be. Evelyn is described to be rather beautiful, in an icy, quiet sort of way.
Personality: Evelyn's personality varies depending on who she's with. If someone who did not know her were to describe the girl, it would be something along the lines of "fairly coldhearted, quiet, and would rather not talk to me". Evelyn is certainly of the quiet, calculating type. She will rarely trust anyone, and tends to let her pride get the better of her. She is excellent at keeping her temper, for the most part, though if somebody pushes her past her limits, they may have a nasty, cold surprise. The rare people that she is able to befriend, and to trust, will have a completely loyal friend, and an excellent fighting partner. If anybody were to hurt anyone who she is close to, I suggest that they run.

She does not know why she has such difficulty trusting, perhaps it runs through her veins like the ice that she is able to control. Her pride often gets the better of her. Group: Warriors, although she was considering becoming a healer for a small period of time.

Brief History: Kara had a relatively normal past. She lived with her father, stepmother, and her half-sister, never once suspecting that there was something different about her. She did not have ADHD or dyslexia, and she spent most of her childhood living in cold countries, and moving around, so that she did not notice her powers or the monsters. Around her thirteenth birthday, her powers began to show themselves, and her father was forced to tell Kara about her true mother. Being a child of Khione, she did not take this well, and felt great betrayal. She took off on the run, with nothing but some clothes, and a celestial bronze dagger- a parting gift from Khione that she grudgingly accepted.

Throughout her journey, Kara battled monsters, and stayed on the run, keeping to herself. As the journey grew more difficult, and she left her hometown behind her, she felt herself growing weaker, and knew that she would not be able to continue. Gradually, her life began to fade away, and she eventually found herself lying, barely alive, underneath a willow tree in some unknown forest. There, a mysterious boy showed up, and offered her help. Having no choice, Kara teamed up with him, and they lived on the run for many months. Eventually, as all stories go, Kara fell for the boy, despite knowing next to nothing about him- only that he had saved her, and that she still owed a great debt to him. They continued on the run together, until one day- they were trapped in the lair of some unknown monster, about to be eaten. The boy got free. Dizzy with relief, Kara begged him to free her. However, at that moment, the monster returned. The boy sent her one regretful glance, and fled, leaving her to be eaten. Needless to say, she managed to free herself, if only by outsmarting the monster. Nevertheless, she has never been able to trust a boy, or anyone, since. When she encountered the hunters a few months later, she joined them gladly, and has never once considered a different life since.

Physical Appearance: Kara is slim, but has muscles- both from the sports that she was involved in as a child, and her brief time with the hunters. She is moderately tall, with thick brown hair that falls in waves to just below her shoulders. Her eye colour is hard to determine- almost hazel, but with hints of lighter green and blue. She has soft features, and is quite unlike a child of Khione, for her emotions are easy to read, and she would rarely be described as “icy”.

Personality: Kara’s personality is difficult to explain. She is an excellent hunter; she can take down most enemies fairly easily. However, she generally dislikes harming anything, unless it can be justified. It takes a lot for her to trust anybody, but if somebody wins her over, she will be completely loyal, and slightly overprotective. With friends, she is generally kind and light-spirited, but if she is angered, she can become as cruel and as cold as her mother. Kara is calm, in general, like the earth after a light snowfall, but if she is pushed past her limits, her temper will flare, and she will be as cold and as sharp as ice.

Likes/Dislikes: (At least three for both)
Likes: Kara enjoys fighting, when it’s for a purpose, and just exercise in general. She enjoys reading and writing, as well. Other, random likes include cats, pizza and a good movie.
Dislikes: Kara dislikes anyone who betrays her, and will stop at nothing to put these people in their place. She dislikes fighting with a sword, or anything other than her dagger or bow. Last of all, Kara cannot stand letting anybody get too close to her, to find out her weaknesses- she cannot afford to let anybody betray her again.

Talents: Kara was involved in many martial arts as a child, so she is a relatively good fighter. She was also put through French immersion school, so her French is fluent. She is also surprisingly good with music, for a daughter of Khione. Of course, she has her powers with snow and ice, but her powers can only be controlled when she is able to control her temper, so she cannot rely on them particularly often.

Weapons: Kara fights with a celestial dagger, mostly, although there are times when she prefers the bow and arrows of the hunters. Her dagger is disguised as a smaller, dagger-shaped pendant, which she strung to a chain, and wears as a necklace. When the hilt of the small dagger is twisted, it grows to its real size.
