Stuck in the moment (PRIVATE)

Genevieve smiled and nodded. "Yeah." she said. "Yes we could go now. Where do we want to go next? I mean the city is so big, the night is still young, we have all the choices in the world. Name anything, I'm sure we can do it." she laughed again light as she held Keller's hand.

Genevieve nodded. "Ice cream sounds great," she said. The streets were dark. "But I don't know where the closest one is. I didn't come into the city that often that I know it like the back of my hand." she looked around. They were in a less crowded part of town now.

Genevieve spotted where he was pointing and she smiled. "Cool," she said happily. They started to walk down the street towards the shop. She was glad that New York was the city that never slept because her and Keller were probably going to be out all night. Genevieve was actually excited about it. Spending more and more time with Keller meant...well....more time with him and she loved that. Genevieve's thoughts were interupted, however, when something made her stop. A light growl erupted from behind the two demigods. Genevieve stopped in her tracks and hoped and prayed she were imagining things.

Genevieve gasped abruptly as Keller pushed her aside. She knelt down pulling up her jeans to reveal her knife but was a little late. The hound was already on top of Keller and Genevieve panicked. She picked up the thing that was closest to her in the dark and felt a long meddle rod. Genevieve threw her knife at the beast. "Hey!" she yelled trying to make herself sound brave but her voice came out in a panicked squeek. It still got the hounds attention, her knife sticking into its side but not killing it. It growled still stading over Keller but was big enough to be able to snap at her directly. Genevieve swung her rod, closing her eyes and making contact with the large dog's mouth. It howled in pain and Genevieve opened her eyes.

"What?" she exclaimed wrapping her arms around him. "I don't care, as long as you're safe. We're not dead. That's what's great." she pulled away slightly. "Plus, I think I havea better idea for a weapon." she flipped the rod in her hand. "I think I'm going to have a kid fron cabin nine make me a celestial bronze rod to hit monsters with. Like a baseball bat!" Genevieve actually found it to be a pretty good idea.

Genevieve's eyes lit up at thought of shopping. "That's be great," she said. She smiled at his ice cream comment. "I can never pass up an oportunity to get ice cream." Genevieve looked over her clothes once more, slid her knife back into place and tosse the metal rod behind her. "Let's go."

Genevieve rolled her eyes. "Shut up," she said taking his hand and going into the store. She pushed him towards the guy's department entrance. "Meet you at the revister?" she asked but didn't wait for an answer. Genevieve turned to the girls section and quickly searched for something good. She felt a bit bad for spending Keller's money, but he was offering, so, it couldn't hurt.
