Keller rolled his eyes, "Gotta play by the rules." He said, holding back a smile. He couldn't stop it though at her last comment. He narrowed down his thoughts.Don't pretend you don't want to. He sent the thought to her, leaning down with raised eyebrows, letting her kiss him.

Genevieve ran her hands through his dark hair. "I don't know how you did that," she said her eye brows raised as she spoke. "But it was kind of hot." Genvieve looked at him. "I'm still not going to though." She was smiling largly now. She enjoyed teasing him.

Keller groaned. "So you call me hot but then tell me you're not going to kiss me?" He said, letting out a exasperated sigh. "Do you want me to take your clothes back? I think I deserve some form of a thank you, dont you?" He asked, brushing her hair behind her ear.

"You want them?" Genevieve asked. "I doubt you want to walk around New York with a girl who is practically nacked. Of course, you're a guy! You'd probably love that." she bit back a smile. "Plus, I said 'Thanks.' What more do I need to do?" Genevieve was having fun with this.

Keller grinned "No, I wouldn't mind. Not one bit." He laughed, running his index finger over her lips lightly. He thought for a moment, deciding what to say. "How about you kiss me and you can stop when I think you're dept has been repaid." He looked into her eyes challengingly.

Genevieve bit her lip and thought a moment as if considering this. "Um, I'll pass," she said finally. "You should know by now I'm not giving in that easily. You either have to try harder, or just kiss me yourself. Your choice. I'll be glad with either or. I'm just not giving in." Genevieve's eyes didn't leave his now.

Keller continued to look into her eyes for a minute longer before sighing, pulling away. He kept holding her hand. "Let's go get an ice-cream." He said, smiling slightly as they walked down the street. He was wondering whether she was playing hard to get or just didnt want to kiss him.

"Ha!" Genvieve exclaimed. "I win!" she smiled and leaned against Keller's shoulder, pulling his arm around her shoulders. She hoped he knew she was just kidding. Genevieve enjoyed kiddig around with him but if she was taking that kind of thing too far, she'd hope he'd tell her. "Ice cream actually sounds really good at the moment." she said.

Keller relaxed when she put his arm around her shoulders and they walked together. He saw a cafe across the street and headed for it. "You win this round." He accepted. "But its not over." He narrowed his eyes, trying to keep a straight face and failing. They walked inside and found that the ice-crean was still being sold. "What flavour?" He asked.

"Vanilla," Genevieve said with a smile. "With chocolate sprinkles." Genevieve wansn't going to comment on his statement about it not being over. She knew she'd win each round unless he really, really tried. She had her hand laced through Keller's while she was thinking. She laughed lightly at her thoughts.

Keller raised his eyebrows at her laugh. Whoa, she's crazy, he thought with a grin. He walked up to the counter, smiling at the waitress. He ordered what she wanted and a plain chocolate ice-cream for himself. He leant on the counter whilst waiting for the ice-cream, watching Eve with raised eyebrows.

Genevieve watched the person behind the counter make their ice cream. She crossed her arms looking around the cafe. She couldn't read the menus. Her dyslexia wouldn't let her. When her eyes wandered back to Keller, she found him staring at her. "What?" she asked smiling and tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear.

Keller shook his head, picking up their ice-creams and walking over to a booth. He handed hers to her, slowly licking his own but keeping his eyes on Genevieve in a flirtacous way. It back fired in his face through when he got a headache. "Aw man, brain-freeze." He moaned, putting his head in his free hand.

Genvieve giggled. She licked her ice cream with failing restaint on her giggles. "Well that was a fail," she said handing Keller a napkin. "Are you okay?" she was still giggleing lightly. "Put your thumb on the roof of your mouth and push up. That helps it go away."

Keller tried it but felt like an idiot so he stopped, letting it go away on its own. When it did, he continued to lick his ice-cream, slower than he had been before to prevent more brain-freeze. He reached across the table to hold her hand.

"Fine," Genvjeve laughed. "Don't use my awesome trick. That's cool. Let your brain freeze!" she squeezed his hand looking into his eyes. "Talk to me," she said softly just wanting to hear the soft soud of his voice.

Keller raised his eyebrows, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "Uh...okay..." He bit into the cone of his ice-cream and ticked off his fingers. "Im pretty unhappy about the fact you didnt kiss me. I want a fast sports car but Chiron wont let me. Im getting in to freqent trouble back at camp."

Genevieve threw her hands up in the air. "You're going to hold that against me forever aren't you?" She shrugged, her smile faded. "What kind of trouble are we talking about here?" Her tone was softer and more concerned now. She didn't really want Keller to be upset right now.

"Nothing much. Me mouthing off, getting into fights with the Ares campers. The usual." He shrugged. He shook his head at her first comment. "No, I was joking about that. Sorry." But he bet that he would be able to get her to kiss him by the end of the night.

"Mouthing off," Genevieve muttered. "Fights. Try getting into a fight at the mall over shoes with a lady in her thirties. I'd like tosee you win that fight." She slid out of he side of the booth and went to Keller's side. "But seriously, you're at camp where fighting is encouraged, you have got nothing to worry about." Genevieve nudged him with her arm lightly. "Now kissing me, you can do that anytime you want."

Keller looked sideways at her, leaning towards her and his cocky side coming back. "But where's the fun in me kissing you? You want a kiss? You'll have to kiss me." He breathed, pulling back again to finish his cone. "You haven't given me a solution to the fast sports car yet." He pushed her hair back behind her ear.

"Oh what do I look like," Genevieve exclaimed. "Your magic fortune teller who gives you solutions to everything? I don't think so." she paused a second looking at Keller. "I say screw Chiron. Get the car and drive to wherever you want. But you have to solve that kissing problem because I'm waiting for you ti kiss me. I'm a helpless romantic. Classic kind of date. I'm a daughter of Aphrodite. The old fashioned way enlightens me."

Keller put his arms up in mock surrender, defending himself. "I just thought seeing as you were giving me advice that you might be able to help me out. But I think I will just buy one." He winced at her second sentance. "You will be waiting forever then." The problem was, he didn't think he could wait forever, he was going to crack and she knew it.

Genevieve had made it to the cone of her ice cream. She laughed and rolled her eyes. "L'amour est la peine d'attendre," She said in fluent French. She looked at Keller, her euebrows raised. "Je suis prêt à attendre éternellement." Genevieve wondered how well he would be able to translate.

Keller gaped at her for a few seconds before rubbing his forehead. "You know I said that I was good at French? I lied." He admitted. "Can you say that again in English?" He put his arm around her, pulling her close to his side as she finished her cone. "I could get used to this."
