| Winter
The trees bare The wind scarce Winter is here Many stay inside lighted houses But I remain in the snow I pass the holly bush, the evergreen trees, and heaps of snow. Winter is here Christmas they say is today I don't really know what will happen Winter is here I slip on ice not very nice My legs are shivering and a cut where blood trickles out is on my forehead Winter is here Suddenly I hear bells Bells so sweet and pure I see something wiz by in the sky It comes around again 'Tis a red sleigh and deer-like creatures And who is that man all jolly and red? Santa Claus? Winter is here I wake up in my bed then It was just a dream, nothing more But I see that today is the 25th Christmas is here! | |

| The Entruder Twas a cold winter's night When the scornful sound came Tap-tap-tap I woke with a fright My mother couldn't be blame I slowly slid out of bed And grabbed the lantern on the table Tap-tap-tap I slid my night cap on my head And realized the noise was coming from the stable Tap-tap-tap I stepped outside To a freezing wind Tap-tap-tap My hands were tied The air evily grinned My feet were bare As I began toward the place Tap-tap-tap The cold didn't care that I was there And all I could see was a dark space Tap-tap-tap I reached the door I stepped inside Tap-tap-tap My head felt poor Like the wind against the tide I heard footsteps And walked toward them Tap-tap-tap I climbed down the doortsteps I was afraid fear might condemn When I saw the noise Tap-tap-tap An evil figure, possibly a boy Then the shadow vanished And walked back to bed And lay down my head But even to this day I remember the Tap-tap-tap | |
