--The Start of a Family--(Greek){Years Later}

Kat smiled and leaned into Seth again. She wrapped her arms around his neck. "Hmm. Doesn't sound to bad," she mumbled. Kat looked into Seth's eyes taking everything in. She held a small smile on her face running her fingers through Seth's hair. Her world lit up. Seth was alright. They all were.

Seth gave Kat a sloppy grin. "Well, in that case," Seth told Kat. Seth wrapped his good arm around Kat's waist and brought her closer, running his good hand up and down his back. Seth actually felt fine just rubbing Kat's back. "I love you," Seth said softly. Leaning forward, Seth softly kissed Kat on the lips.

Kat's world was full of fireworks. Her mind was lit up and blown away by Seth. Like it always was when he kissed her, when she kissed him. She loved it. All her cares were washed away, her fear torn from her mind, everything was perfect. Kat move her lips with Seth's holding his neck with her hands.

Seth pulled Kat closer to him with his good arm. Seth's bad arm was just kinda dangling there. Seth wished he hadn't gotten hurt, he was probably going to make Kat worry more about him. Seth deepened the kiss by leaning in towards Kat. Smiling a bit, Seth loved how he was living. Kat and Cinnor seemed to make Seth's life perfect.

As Seth leaned into Kat more, Kat leaned back with him until her back was flat against the worn cushions. They were safe again, all of them, everyone Kat cared about. Nothing seeme to be able to ruin this perfect moment, but of course, there was. Connor started to cry from the other room. Kat pulled back from Seth lightly and looked at him. "I should probably go get him." she said softly.

Seth groaned when Kat pulled away. Seth finally realized why. Connor. Seth wanted to hold him, but he had a bad arm. Frowning, Seth nodded. "Please get him. I would but..." Seth trailed off, pointing to his shoulder. The manage wrapped around it and there was a little dry blood. Seth grimaced. He would have to call in sick or something. He could not operate with one hand.

Kat bit her lip, and swung her legs off the couch. "Yeah, yeah, I get it." she said with a light smile. "This better not e your excuse for everything." Kat's smile still arose, but faded lightly as she went to get Connor. "Okay, I'm here." she cooed the baby. "Again." Kat picked up Connor and started to bounce him in her arms. She walked back out into the living room and sat down next to Seth, Connor still in her arms.

Seth smiled at Kat. "You know that'll be my excuse for everything now," Seth called after her as Kat went to go get Connor. Soon, Kat came back with Connor. Connor's big brown eyes were wide and open, taking in everything. Connor's blond hair was sticking up in some places and others not. Seth just couldn't help but smile. Connor clapped his hands together when Kat sat down next to Seth. "Dada!" Connor said aloud, pounding his tiny, little fists on Seth's good arm. "Hey," Seth said lightly, smiling.

Kat leaned against Seth softly. "Well," she said, "He can say Dada now. I just want it in writing that he said Mama first." Kat smiled and waited for Seth's wise cracking comment to come. In the mean time, Kat tried to keep Connor's hair from sticking up in random places, but like Seth's, it was almost impossible.

Seth cracked a grin. "That's fine by me," Seth whispered in Kat's ear, grinning like crazy. Connor babbled something and started to play with Kat's long brown hair. Seth smiled and softly kissed Kat on the lips. Seth heard a door open and close, but didn't think much of it. Seth heard a yelp and pulled away to find Isabella showered, but still in the same clothes. Seth frowned lightly. "Bells, why are you wearing the same, bloodied clothes?" Seth asked. He watched as Isabella shrugged. Seth rolled his eyes lightly.

"Izzy," Kat groaned and rolled her eyes as she came back out in blood stained clothes. She handed Connor to Seth lightly. The smell of blood suddenly got to Kat and more memories fell flat into her mind so quickly..."I'll lend you some close, Iz." Kat said. She wanted to change her own clothes anyway. She was still in jeans and her strapless dress shirt from Seth and her date. Kat stood up and went over to Izzy sighing. "C'mon." she said and led her into her room.

Isabella nodded as Seth frowned lightly. Isabella followed Kat into her room. "Sorry. I didn't wanna bother you guys," Isabella told Kat. Isabella took off her bloodied shirt and folded it, not wanting it to look messy. "Should I throw these clothes out?" Isabella asked Kat. Shrugging, Isabella put the bloodly t-shirt in a small garbage.

"Yeah," Kat said rummaging through her drawers looking for a t-shirt or anything that would fit Izzy. "Don't worry about a thing. We gotyou covered for the night." Kat picked up a light plain yellow t-shirt. "This good?" she also grabbed a pair of her most comfortable sweat pants. Kat held them up for Izzy.

Isabella nodded, taking the shirt from Kat. "Thanks," Isabella told Kat, smiling. Isabella slipped the shirt on and changer her jeans, putting Kat's sweatpants on. Isabella went over to Kat and gave her a hug. Seth and Kat were basically her only family left really. Isabella was still dating Chris, but Kat felt like her big sister. "Thank you," Isabella repeated again.

Kat hugged Izzy back. "You're always welcome here, Iz," she said softly. "No matter what, you and Chris and..." she trailed off. There weren't many people left, were there? Penny was still out there, Aiden, Sam, Eli. Kat thought of them every day.

Isabella nodded, not wanting to cry. Isabella took a deep breath and muttered a thanks again. Suddenly, Seth cussed loudly. "Connor!" Isabella could hear Seth chiding Connor as a small laugh came from Connor. Isabella laughed lightly and smiled. "Let's hope Connor doesn't say that word," Isabella teased, smiling brightly.

"He better not," Kat muttered. "I don't even want him cursing in Greek. He can't curse until he is 12." Kat paused her ranting. "That's bad parenting isn't it?" she muttered this trying not to laugh. No, Connor would probably be cursing by the time he was 6 at this rate.

Isabella laughed. "both of you will do fine," Isabella told Kat. Isabella was reassuring them. Isabella didn't have kids herself. "Let's hope this goes right," Isabella muttered.

-Two years later-

Seth grinned as he opened the door to the apartment. Toys were scattered everywhere. Connor ran to Seth, hugging Seth's legs. Seth smiled as Connor yelled, "Dada!" Smiling, Seth picked up Connor, setting his bag on the table. "Hey Kat. You wouldn't believe what happened today. There was a bus accident and..." And Seth went on and on.

Kat had been grabbing a bag of crackers out of the cabinet when Seth came in the door. She smiled largly as he started to talk about work. "That's great, hun, but I gotta tell you something." she said trying to get hi attention. She wasn't very successful in the attempt. Connor stared at his Dad blankly as if trying to comprehend what he was saying.

Seth saw Kat and smiled. "Hey Kat. Then, theses hikers came in and had frost bite. Oh, then these other people came in and one of them was shot after the son missed the turkey completely. They were shooting turkeys for Thanksgiving..." Seth went on and on, ignoring somewhat what Kat said. Connor looked at Seth blankly, not really wanting to hear about Seth's job.

Rolling her eyes Kat walked over to where Seth was standing. "I'm glad you had a great day." she said. "But listen. This is kinda important." She smiled innocently trying to get jis mind away from work which was never easy. He loved work so much sometimes and then hated it the next day. Kat concluded that he was bi-polar when it came to working.

Again, Seth barley heard what Kat said. Connor kicked at Seth. Seth gently put Connor down. Connor ran off, laughing cutely. Yet, Seth was talking the whole time. "Then this one intern did a wrong produce and almost killed the poor guy. I had to..." Off Seth went, taking rapidly again, running a hand through his blond hair. Seth's green eyes looked tired and were somewhat glassy from exhustion.

Kat rolled her eyes and wrapped her arms around Seth's neck. "Fantastic," she uttered in a soft whisper. She leaned up and kissed him on the lips for a second. It was her way of shutting him up. She pulled away only by an inch and said, "I'm pregnant." in another light whisper. Kat's famous smile spread across her face.

Kat's words made Seth stop breathing. All different kinds of emtions were running through Seth. Shock, doubt, and mostly joy. Seth's green eyes lingered on Connor who was playing. Kat always stayed hom. Taking care of two kids would be a lot of work. Seth swallowed and finally looked at Kat. "H-how?" Seth asked, even though he knew the answer to that one. A smile finally spread on Seth's lips as he wrapped Kat in a tight embrace.

"Last week," Kat said with a laugh. "I'd think you'd remember that. Or do I need to get into details?" She asked playfully. Kat hugged him back. She couldn't think of a time when she was hapier except for three years ago when she figured out she was pregnant the first time. That was more of a surprise. But now, Kat felt confident and excited.
