Faye smiled and nodded. She was releived to be able to rest for a while, any time was better than none. Faye walked over to an open tent and mouthed, "Thank you" to Blythe. She crept into the tent and put a blanket over herself. Faye closed her eyes and was asleep in a few minutes.

"Ill keep you company." I said. I climbed up to the lowest branch. leaning my back agianst the tree i could see up and down the pathway.

i staggered back to my tent. i played with som spare bolts and wires. i slumped on my sleeping bag and fell instantly asleep.

Blythe nodded, and began to prowl before the fire, her eyes awake and scanning. Glancing up at Roran, she fiddled with her key, turning it into a sword then back again. The steady crackle of the fire kept her awake, as did very movement in the Forest. She went through the options in her head. If they followed the trail, they would encounter different kinds of obstacles, mental and physical. Would they survive it?

i fiddled with the hilt of my sword. I eyed the duaghter of janus. I shifted on my branch and held my hand under my jacket by my dagger, just in case.

Faye's sleep wasn't easy going. She was restless, to say the least. Faye was thinking too much, like always. She tended to over analize situations and freak out. Tonight was one of those nights. The noises of the forest didn't help either. Faye would wake up in a cold sweat then pass out again. Eventually, she just stopped sleeping. Faye sat with her knees to her chest, waiting. She scolded herself for not sleeping, but she couldn't help it.

Faye walked out of her tent and took a spot next to Blythe." If you look up at the stars this place is less scary." she said with a smile. Faye leaned back on the damp ground and looked at the stars. She smiled again and sighed.

Blythe looked over at Faye and smiled softly. "Sometimes I can't see them," she replied. She really didn't explain why. But she gazed at the constellations that hung in the sky, slowly fading. When the Athena twins said something about the trail, she kept on smiling. "We already know that. I figured it out earlier, when that woman went crazy and ran away. Faye said we'd follow it when it gets lighter." And as she spoke, the constellations slowly disappeared and the sky grew brighter. The Forest stirred.

~Morning time, new day, new challenges!~
Faye woke up to the sound of chirping birds and a bright sky. She sighed and noticed she had fallen asleep outside. Faye wasn't surprised, she had done it before."Wakey wakey everyone!" she called with a grin. Faye got up ad stretched, feeling her back crack a bit as she did so. She glanced at her finger to make sure her owl shaped ring still was there. Faye smiled, the ring was there. She looked over at her fellow demigods and sighed. No food.

Faye shook Blythe awake."Blythe! Any ideas on breakfast?" she whispered into the girl's ear. Faye backed up, in case Blythe got up with reflexes. Some demigods did that, Faye included.

Blythe immediately went for her key. It was her weapon, and last time she lashed out, she had broken Ron's nose. Groggily, she sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Ergh...Let's not cook anything. It smells appetizing, not only for us. I can get anything, as long as it's in the camp store. But order all at once, 'cause I can only summon so many doors," she replied, sleepiness thick in her voice. Getting up, she started a few warm ups- a few jumping jacks, curl ups, and stretches. Who knew when they were going to be under attack? Unsheathing her weapon, she walked around their little camp.

I lurched off my branch after dozing off. Shaking my head i grabbed my bag. "there is no need," i said. "I stocked up before we left." I tossed a packet of food towards them. "there should be enough for us in there."

Blythe caught it with one hand without bothering to look up. Tearing it open, she scarfed down the contents. Scanning the landscape, she found the trail of the insane woman. It was getting cold. "Faye...Do you want to go onto the trail after breakfast?” the daughter of Janus inquired. She gripped her sword, and sent a thought to Ron. Go back to the cabin, this’ll take a while

Faye smiled and looked in the packet of food. Inside energy bars and water bottles galore. She tossed one to Blythe and nodded."Yeah, we all will." Faye said opening one of the bars. She took a quick bite of it. Food. It had been a while since they had eaten. "I have a feeling we are getting close." Faye said looking out at the forest. They had to be close.

Blythe relaxed her mind and sat back, watching the birds fly past. "Okay," she said carelessly. She did care about her fellow campers, but she didn't show it. "So... How exactly did you figure out Chris was missing?" she asked. She asked that question because 1) She didn't know and 2) There was a rather awkward silence in the group. She always felt the need to fill in those gaps.

Faye sighed and looked at Blythe. She looked back at the ground . " Well, he didn't show up at curfew. The librarians told me that he stayed late for some research." she said scrunching her eyebrows together. "I don't know what he's been working on, but apparently it's been getting the best of him. He left at about 11 or 12, and that was the last anyone saw of him." Faye said softly. "Well Chris did talk to Melina, and she said he would be late to bed. He never came back..." she said wiping off some slowly forming tears. She was bound to find him, they had to.

Blythe scooted closer and put an arm around the younger girl's shoulder in an attempt to comfort her. "We'll find him, then. He's the son of Athena, he's bound to be alive. And as his siblings, you'll probably be able to find him. I'll help as much as I can," she said. She felt what Faye felt-a loss of a loved one. Blythe herself was close to losing her mother, her only connection to the mortal world. "We'll find him. But first, we need to get our energy."
