I laid down next to Reji. We were together on a blanket, relaxing and enjoying our time on the beach. He said that spending time with me was the highlight of his four years. I couldn't help but respond back. "Highlight? This is the best day of my life! Well, besides the chimera. But without that crazy monster chasing after me I would've never met you. The time we spent together was special. I absolutely love being with you. And I want to keep spending time with you. You are-"

"ANGEL!!!!!!!!!!!"

"-BANE?!" I was absolutely taken aback by the voice of my brother. I quickly turned over to see his bulky self running. I flashed a worried look towards Reji for a moment before my expression changed. "You muscle head! You couldn't have shown up before when some rabid thing was chasing me?!"

"I DON'T CARE HOW MANY RABBITS WERE CHASING YOU YOU'RE ALIVE!!!!!!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN YOU MIDGET?! AND WHO THE F-"

"LANGUAGE!"

"-WHO IS THAT GUY?!" I saw a guy laying on a blanket with my sis! No way in hell he was going to get away with that! I'll show him!

Uh oh, this was exactly what I had feared. And I could see how he could distort the scene. I needed to figure out a way how to stop my brother from trying to rip Reji a new one.

I smile sweetly and clap my hands together." You must be Bane.", I sigh, sizing him up,"You seem to fit the decription.", I mutter "I'd shake your hand, but you'd probably try to crush it. Now listen, Bane, I'm dating your sister. I don't want to fight you, but I'm smarter and a better fighter than you. All I'm doing, is hanging at the beach with your sister. End of story.", I sit back down and sigh.

"Brother, that's three."

"SHUT UP SIS I'M TRYING TO KICK THIS GUY'S BUTT FOR YOU!"

"Bane. Go home. NOW. Just go. I certainly don't complain when you go out with those...well, lack for a better word, tramps."

"THIS IS DIFFERENT! I'M ALLOWED TO FOOL AROUND WITH GIRLS! YOU'RE NOT! Wait, does that mean you're bi?

I literally smack myself on the forehead. Bane and his stupidity. Knowing how good of a fighter Reji was, and how much more brains he had, I knew Bane would be totally screwed trying to fight him. This wasn't some punk that played baseball who only knew how to talk junk. I shake my head and go back to Reji. "I'm sorry," I whisper to him, "Bane's about as bright as a rock. Can't shut up though."

"WHAT YA SAYING TO MY SIS?! DON'T THINK I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU'RE WITH HER! HEY, LISTEN TO ME YOU BASTARD!" I go charging at them. Dude thinks he can go and diss me. I GOT TWO WORDS FOR HIM: L. O. L. I mean seriously, look at these big manly muscles on me! Puny guy doesn't stand a chance! WITH THE POWER OF ZE-Oh wait no that's not my god parent. Um...oh yeah, WITH THE POWER OF ATHENA I CANNOT BE DEFEATED!!!!! Whatever she symbolizes.

I laughed at the mini family feud. "I think he's about as bright as a room 300 ft underground with no lights and a blindfold over his eyes.", I mumbled back. Then, he got all up in my face. Dang, his breath smelled bad. My gods. As he continued on and on about his muscles and he's so much better, I smash him in the face with a right hook, then I kick so high, it's nearly a vertical split, and nail him square int he chest, sending him stumbling back. I quickly shoulder roll, and when behind him, jump up and kick him forward. I then form a piece of ice, he steps on it, slips, and face plants into the sand. I smirk,"I'm so manly and muscular and I'm totally gonna beat you up!", I say, trying to imitate Bane, but kinda failing. "Sorry, Angel, I kinda had to do that.". I sigh.

I found myself facing a humiliating defeat instead. I got up and was spitting out sand. "Alright then bastard, you got skills. That I'll admit. But I was-"

"Oh shut up you just got knocked the @#$% out. Excuse the cursing. Can you PLEASE leave me alone now? I rather not have you suffer any more injuries even though you deserve them for being an idiot. I don't like fighting and you should know that." Even if he DID back down, I had a feeling Bane would come calling back later on anyway. I just wanted some more time alone with Reji without Muscle Head ruining it. I let out a sigh of relief when I saw my brother put his fists down.

"Fine. Yo Ice Boy, you got lucky this time. But you'll bet I'mma hit ya with a fast one!" I was growling as I walked off. I'll get him next time.

A smile returned on my face as I clung to Reji. "I'm sorry you had to deal with that. I found that imitation funny though. Sad part is that it's accurate. My only question is since when did playing football make you the strongest in the world?" I rolled my eyes thinking about it as I tried to get my mind off the fact that my boyfriend just had to beat the crap out of my brother for acting stupidly overprotective of me.

I laughed. Wow, I guess Angel could be tough if she needed to be. "Yah,muscle head, I'm sure you will. I look forward to that moment.", I smile. Okay, I need to use sarcasm,"Have a lovely evening!", I shout as he leaves. I smile and put both my arms around Angel." It'd not my best work but I guess it's okay. And, I guess it is sorta sad that you had to deal with that all of your life. Oh Zeus, I wouldn't have been able to take it. Only thing I'm worried about is if he actually starts to train and get good at fighting, I'm not entirely sure if I'll be able to beat him anymore. But that's a few years off.", I flash a soft smile and then lie back down next to Angel, enjoying the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks.

I couldn't help but smile. Reji had no idea what I had to deal with. I mean Bane could be a good guy, but most of the time he was an idiot. He also had a tendency to act like a douche bag when he was out with friends and stuff. That's probably why I never really hanged out with him anymore. "It's been 15 years and counting." I cuddled against Reji as we were laying down on the blanket. The waves were moving ever so nicely. I could hear them move and crash into the rocks. Now that Muscle Head was gone, it felt like paradise. I was enjoying my time there once more. My eyes glanced at Reji. My beautiful kick butt boyfriend. I knew dinner was coming soon, but I didn't want to leave. It probably didn't help that I knew my brother would be there eating more than a horse.

I smiled and just wrapped an arm around her and looked at the waves. I could feel a light ocean spray, and it felt great. he made a small piece of ice and started to make different shapes with it in his free hand. He they were, lying on the beach. Reji had just beat up her trash talking brother, given her a Pegasus, showed her around camp, beat a Chimera, "I think today was the best day I'd had in a while. probably a good 7 or 8 years.", I smile at Angel and kiss her forehead. Suddenly, while he was fiddling with the ice, he dropped it and thought of something."Do you still have that ice rose I gave you?", I ask curiously.

"I think today was the best day of my life." I kept my body close to his as we were laying on the beach. My arms were around Reji and I felt one of his arms wrapped around me. I watched as he was playing around with his ice powers. Wow, he was so amazing. I wanted to do something cool like that. I didn't think I could though, not with the kind of goddess my mom was. Between getting saved from a Chimera, riding a Pegasus and getting a baby one for myself, and watching my brother get his butt kicked, it was an awesome day. Not to mention going around camp with Reji by my side. My face blushed as my forehead was kissed. He then asked about the rose. I quickly pulled it out and displayed it to him. "Yep!" I replied as I was smiling happily.

I smile,"I'm glad you still have it. It won't melt, by the way, I managed to bless it.", I look at the dusky sky. "You know, I could cook us something later if you don't want to deal with your brother. I'm not bad at cooking.", I look in your eyes,"I wouldn't mind that because he's probably gonna be a pain n the butt to me, too. But, it's up to you. Whatever you want.", I pick up a clump of sand and let it run through me fingers.

It won't ever melt? Wow. Such a beauty could last forever? That was absolutely fantastic. I was going to keep this ice rose forever. Never would I discard it or let it be lost. I glanced up at the sky. It was rather dark. I then heard Reji's next words. I came back with a response. "I hate to be a bother, but yes, please do so. I know my brother. He'll be in the area stuffing his face. He eats more than a horse! And I know that if we show up there, he's going to bother us. Especially you. He's probably still angry from the beating you gave him." My hand was mindlessly playing with his shirt. He could cook? Well then that's another talent he had that I most certainly did not.

I smile, why was she playing with my shirt? Hmmm, Did I really care? No. I could tell she was surprised that it would last forever. "Just a Demigod thing....", I mumble absently. "Oh, and trust me, it's not a bother. Dealing with Bane would be much more of a bother. Besides, I'll pretty much do anything for you. I'm here for you when ever you need me.", I smile again. looking over at Angel,"We just met, but I think I love you.". I hope she didn't think that was weird. If she did, that was just a huge relationship mistake.

I realized what my hand was doing and I immediately ceased. That must've been rather weird. I was somewhat spaced out when Reji woke me out of my daydream and put me into another one. Except this dream was real. He then said the words I had been wanting to hear. He said that he loved me. Inside of me my heart was dancing happily. I could visualize myself doing all kinds of acrobatic tricks all because of those three words. "I know we just met, but I think I love you too." This was unbelievable. I never expected this to happen like ever. I had a feeling if I let go of Reji I would be flying away with joy. "I-I'll be there for you too. I really appreciate all the things you've done for me and I care deeply about you. Reji, I love you." I was blushing once more. I really had to stop that. But I couldn't help it! I had just spilled a great amount of detail of what I felt about him. We literally just met today! Now I know I was going to be doing cartwheels later.

"Stop Blushing!", I smile,"You don't need to be so embarrassed considering I just kind of said the same thing. Oh, and back to the topic of camp. I hope you like it so far, but things are gonna get difficult. You're gonna have to train and study, work really hard like I have. Do you think I could do all the things I can do with ice when I got here? Nope. It also took me quite a lot of time to be as good with a sword as I am now, and I still got ways to go. But all in all, camp is an amazing place to be. You'll really love it."

In response I protested, "But I can't help it! I'm usually rather shy about my feelings!" Inside of me my heart was soaring. It was glad that I willfully shared my feelings for once. Turns out his feelings about me were the same! This was just so...perfect. I listened as I was given a warning about camp and the work I would have to do while I resided here. Not a problem. That's what I sort of did anyway at home, except I was studying logarithmic equations and things I wasn't even sure if they were going to really help me in real life. Here I was studying things that would save my life. "I have no problem with training or studying. I want to get better so you don't have to come running in to save me all the time." Aka giant chimeras running through the forests of Long Island. "This place is amazing from what I've seen, but I'm especially glad that I get to be here with you." I did my hardest not to blush at the end of that statement. It was okay. He was my boyfriend. Why should I get embarrassed?

At this point, Reji didn't have anything to say. He was completely speechless. His day had been great. Better than great, amazing. Reji did nothing but smile and lay there on the beach next to Angel, taking in the events of the day.

(That avatar looks familiar. I want to say it's L but I'm not entirely sure. Also, this thread has gone on for long enough, so I hope you don't mind me summarizing events. xD Expect a knock on Reji's cabin soon though!)

The time we had together was great. Of course there were some things like angry Chimeras and annoying brothers, but all in all, this was the best day ever. Somehow I managed to find the perfect guy and I wasn't even looking for him! How lucky was I? We spent some time on the beach just taking in the sights and enjoying our time together. Then we went and he proved that his cooking skills were in fact good. Maybe I should ask him for lessons or something. Then alas we had to depart. I couldn't stay with him forever. So I went back to my cabin. I suddenly felt tired. I decided to go to sleep. I would tell Katro about everything later.
