| " Exactly the gods think that their children mean nothing , They don't care about us" I say, I wondered if I should hug him to comfort him but that could go the wrong way so I simply smile sympathetically. | |

| "If they truly cared, why did they make that stupid law? Why didn't they at least show us a sign that they cared?"
"If I at least saw my dad once, and at least been able to spend time with him? He could have at least attended one of those parent teacher conferences."
I wanted to cry. My eyes were starting to water. Why didn't you care dad? Why didn't you ever show me a sign that you did? You may have claimed me but thirteen years of not having a father really hurts. More than you would ever know.

| " Exactly and the titans want to change that terrible law, they adore their children and they care for them and guide them " I say. I notice his eyes start to water and I hug him, I blush. | |

| "The Titans can't be any worse than how the gods are to their children." I said.
"The gods treat the titans the same as their children, if not worse,"
Locking the Titans up for eternity, and neglect their children for their whole lives until they've done something important enough worth noting. And force their kids to fight in a war that they don't have anything to deal with. Basically we're a bunch of solider-slaves and the titans are locked in prison forever.

| " No they do care about their children, Kronos said so " I say, as soon as I realize what I'd just said I quickly smile and look away. | |

| "Khronos probably isn't so bad, look at what the gods did to him" I said.
"The gods acted like we didn't exist and when we get old enough they lie to us and say it was for the greater good"
Why is everyone so willing to fight for their godparent? What did they do for us? Other than abandon us and act as if we never were born? Nothing, absolutely nothing.

| " Exactly, no one realizes that the titans are right and the gods are wrong, the gods are power drunk and they won't step down from their thrones, so their forcing the titans to fight with force and that makes the titans look bad even though their the good guys " I say persuasively | |

| "Maybe you're right" I said. "Maybe the gods have been in power to long"
What the gods did to the Titans, for all these years after the titans war.... Is still cruel and immoral. The gods need to be punished. A full scale war across the globe to over throw Olympus would do but wouldn't be quite enough, but still close enough. Full scale war, global war......
(And now he shows traits displayed by his father when he was brainwashed by the titans..... like father like son,))

| I felt bad about persuading him to like the titans, I felt guilty, I shouldn't have meddled with his decision, " But I mean the gods aren't that bad " I say quickly managing a smile.
(oh yeah I just realized that )

| "If they werent so bad they wouldn't leave their children at birth. Then when their thirteen make them attend a year round summer camp" I said.
"It wouldn't be so bad you know if they actually bothered to visit, went to a parent teacher conference or sent present for birthdays and holidays." I said. "But apparently that's not how it works and how it's 'supposed' to function"

| " Its not always their fault, they're busy too, just because their gods doesn't mean they can do everything at one time, they have a war going on and their thrones are hanging by a thread at the moment I don't blame them for not paying attention " I say softly | |

| "Even still, they could have sent a present, or atleast a card for birthdays" I said. I understand they have jobs and responsibilities, I have responsibilities too. Sure they have jobs keeping watch over humanity but still. A law to keep them from their own children? Maybe limiting the time spent would of been more appropriate but all out neglect? It's a miracle all the demigods haven't joined the titans, a miracle for the gods atleast. | |

| " Your being a little selfish, they have tons of kids why should they send a us all birthday cards, we should be grateful that they guided us to camp, Sometimes they help us when we don't know it " I say angrily | |

| Maybe I was being selfiish. Look at what I had to deal with before. Being made fun of for not having a father or my dyslexia was a constant. Then it turns out your father was never killed in a war but alive and an immortal being.
"You're right" I sighed.

| "I really don't want anything to do with this war" I said. "It's pointless"
"Just like the troops in Iraq," I continued, "Practically everyone knows that war was really started for oil, too obvious"
To be honest, if we are fighting a war, this side is doing everything backwards, first off children shouldn't be soldiers fighting in wars like this with monsters. Drafting children into a makeshift army to fight their enemies? This is backwards. We need a real army, not some makeshift soldiers.

| I shrug " I don't really pay attention to all the wars that go on, theres to many to keep track off, and I think wars are all just misunderstandings because when the wars over no one knows what they were really fighting about " I say . I didn't like war, It affected so many people, some children would never know their parents because of war. | |

| "It depends what kind of war, if its a war about the gods, then you never really know the reason," I said. "But if you're talking about normal people wars it''s probably because of a religous extremist movement or in Iraq's case, oil"
Bush started the war in Iraq for oil. The government knows this and plenty of people are able to figure it out with no problem. Bush really messed up America's economy because of the war in Iraq, I mean oil isn't that important to start a war over.

| " All wars are pointless, all they do is get people killed " I say sharply, to me it didn't matter what they were about. I just wished that for once there would be peace. | |

| "I'm not a fan of war either," I said. "Just because I'm the son of the God of War doesn't mean I agree with it."
"But as long as people are jealous and see differences between each other." I continued, "We can't have peace."

| "I agree," I said. "But you don't see any of them talking it over though."
I can probably imagining my father screaming at me because I don't like war. What can he do about it? Send me to my room? Haha, yeah right.

| "True," I said "But you don't see it actually helping"
"There might as well be a Superhero team around to keep the peace," I said, "It'd be more effective than the UN"

| " The Unite Nations is trying but they can't tell people what to do, some people are so stubborn they're willing to let their country die rather then accept help " I say simply. I was started to get bored of talking about war. I had my opinions and he had his. We agreed on some things but on other things we didn't. | |
