James Valentine at the beach

I went blank.I had never been asked that in my whole life."I think I have."I said finally realizing what he meant.

James looked at her curiously. "What does it feel like? I know I'm a son of the goddess of love and all, but I've never been in love before and don't know what it feels like." James seriously.

"You know that weird electrical shock we feel when we kiss?I think thats it."I said looking up at him,a gentle smile on my face.I was in love with James and I was exepting the fact.Today was the best day ever.

James looked at her with a jokingly serious look. "How do you know I feel sparks when we kiss?" He asked. "Maybe I was just asking cause I was curious."

I put a serious look on my face and said"If so I'm going to have to turn you into a cat."I poked him in the chest and put my hands on my hips defiantly not meaning one word that just came out of my mouth.I was a latina for heavans sake!It was my job to be crazy.I softened my features and said"Your not the only one who felt the shock."in a softer gentler voice.We latinos ar wonderful actors.

James smiled. "Of coarse I felt it!" He said as he pulled her into a gentle hug. "I also feel like something in my stomach is fluttering when we touch. Is that normal?" He asked confused. He took a deep breath and realized that something smelled really good. Her hair? Or was he smelling himself? James chuckled softly as he thought of that. He must be going crazy.

I kissed him givingin to the hug."Is anything normal when it comes to love?I mean people interperet love as this crazy,fun experience wich is a rare event.I like shakspears definition better but who does know what love really truly is?Other than your mom of coarse."I said my eyes changing to pink.They usually stayed black or light indigo but today they were changing like crazy.Today was special.

James laughed as she mentioned Aphrodite. "Well since I'm her son, I should have a feeling about what love truly is. But then again, I'm just a normal demi-god dude with a cute girlfriend." James smiled. "You are my girlfriend, aren't you?" He asked looking deep into her eyes and giving her a caring smile.

"Are you serios?Of coarse Im your girlfreind!what else would I be?"I said rolling my eyes.Sometimes boys could be so cluless but at least they tried.I was caught looking at his eyes again.They were just so welcoming.

James shook his head and laughed. "Well, some guys have friends that are a little more then friends, and some have girlfriends. I am just lucky enough to have a girlfriend who's so cute!" He said affectionatly.

'Aww!I still wondersometimes how you know just what to say."I said my eyes turning bright fusia and then going back to normal.I blinked a few times with a blank expression on my face.I had been meaning to say 'Yes you are.' and then kiss him but that came out.Weird.I closed my eyes and concentrated.I wasnt sure what just happened and I hoped my mind barreors hadnt been compromised.There was such a thing as inception.

James smiled at her and looked at her eyes again. He was looking so deeply into them and they were so beautiful that he spontaneously kissed her gently. He pulled her body into his chest as he was kissing her and gently stroked her back.

James put his hands on her hips and picked her up, keeping her close enough so that they didn't break apart. He then swung her around like in on of those old cheesy romantic movies.

James put her back down and kissed her more. He was feeling that electrical shocking feeling. When they kissed it was a sweet combination of ecstasy and blissfulness. It was like heaven on earth. James thought they were meant to be together. Like fate.

James broke away finally, and looked down at her with a sweet, loving, and caring look. A look that told her that he loved her, cared about her, and wanted to be with her forever. "So, how long do you think I'll last against your father?" He asked curiously.

I closed my eyes and felt my cheeks go red as he declared his love for me."Id give you about ten minutes if you knew he was coming and five if you didnt."I said in a sweet voice.I didnt want him to wory over my dad to much.That nightmare could wait for later.

James laughed. "I'm sure he'll love me. I won't even touch when he's around. He's the really protective type right?" James asked, not liking the thought of not kissing Mini for a whole day.

"Hes not that protective.He just enjoys seeing the faces of tortured souls."I said in my'Not-that-important-change-the-subject'voice.My dad was a touchy subject.He was probably the meanest middle aged dad in the whole world.

James looked at her seriously. "Has he ever beat you. I'm just asking cause the way your describing him, he seems like a terrible guy."

"He taught me how to fight.And hes not a terrible guy.He just dose terrible things.Well at least thats what he says."I said trying to smooth over the fact that he does terrible things.He worked for Hades and that usually ended up with him doing terrible things.But he was my dad and I had found out the good qualitys about him years ago though you wouldnt think he had any after you met him.

James looked at her with care in his eyes. James hugged her again. "I hope he likes me. I'm worried. What if he tells you, you can't see me anymore? Or worse, what if he kills me?"

I had to laugh at the last one."My dad wont kill you and he probably wont tell me I cant see you.He may sound horrible but thats just how he is."I said looking him straight in the eye.I leaned in and gave him a quick kiss."And if he does tell me I cant see you the Ill put on a blinfold and kiss you regardless."I said jokingly.I was good at finding loop holes in promises.
