I walk out of y room, rubbing my eyes. "Katie?" I say weakly, looking for her. I'm just beginning to calm my breathing after having the worst nightmare I've ever had. "Katie, um, I think I need to tell you about my dream. All of you. I look around at everyone that was awake. I manage to not cry, feeling no tears left in me. My pillow on the other hand . . .

"What's up?" I asked regaining my control and blushing a bit. Hale was waaay too young to know what was going on so I did my best to conceal my little nuisance "Seriously are you ok?"

"Obviously not." I sat up, still holding my head. I look over at Hale. "What's wrong kid?' I knew demigod dreams were horrible, this couldnt be good

I look at them and start from the beginning. "Well, my dream started out like most of them do now. The gods fighting some huge monster I can't begin to describe. But, I've gotten used to that dream." I freeze, knowing the bad dream start about now. "And then, suddenly Camp Half-Blood comes arching in. They help at first--but then . . ." I almost can't bring myself to say this. I'm embarrassed at my dream-self. "Then the monster threatens Dad with my life. Dad says that one of his kids lives, especially mine, doesn't make much of a difference. The monster nods and then kills everyone but me, forcing me to watch you all die. I'm screaming and crying and Dad sees me. He tells me that his plan was to get the monster confused, and outwit it. But the monster outwitted him. I'm still screaming, and now I fear for my own life. The monster sees me. He sees the god I care about, and he "kills" dad. I know gods can't die, but he trapped Apollo in Tartarus for eternity. Now, since I have nothing else left to do, I try to stop the monster from killing the other cabins. I fail. To end my dream, the monster kills me." My body is shaking uncontrollably, and I can barely stand. "I'm not sure what the monsters name was, but I think Dad refers to him as 'Typhoon.' I don't know why, but I think the monster exists. Please help, something about this dream . . . It felt so real!" I stare at them, looking for help.

i listened to the dream intently. "Well, that sounds like a lot of demigod dreams, but Dad never allows his kids too see too far ahead." I scratched my head. "But i'm sure this Typhoon creature doesn't exist. Typhoons have to do with Poseidon's realm, he'd have just had it killed off if it was a threat. Unless..."

I lean in close. "Unless? Come on, you have to tell me!" My heart is beating hard in my chest, and I can feel it. I just hope no one else can hear it.

I settled in on my bunk still covering my stomach but intently watching the unfolding events. "I have no Idea but the only monster I can think of like that would be Typhon. And he's safely under Mt. St. Helens." I answered

I nod at Katie. "I would hope he's safely under a volcano." I look at Seth and Katie, but I don't feel any better. "I doubt the dream will come true, but it seemed to know my worst fears, and I know that wasn't my dream, it was a demigod dream. Not controlled by my thoughts." I try to remember exactly what the monster looked like. "Wait, Seth! Did you say too far? That would mean if it was a future dream, then . . ." My eyes are blank as I stare off into know where.

"But that doesnt mean that it will come true." I replied. I sat up in my bunk, and listened to Hale's problems.

From his bunk, Chris groaned as the conversation eventually woke him. His battle wounds had healed so he didn't have to stay in the infirmary, but it would be a while before he was fully back in action.
Pulling on some jeans, Chris grabbed his crutches and limped towards Hale, Katie and the others.
"Guys, what the heck's going on?" he murmured. "Whoa-new arrival? How come I haven't noticed you yet? Hale, you alright man?"

I look at Strachen. "I hope so. Believe me, if that comes true . . ." I can't stand the tension I feel. "Well, if that comes true . . ." I don't finish my sentence. I can't.

Chris stared at Katie's stomach with a raised eyebrow and many questions going through his mind. As a demigod, he had seen his share of strange things but somebody's stomach glowing? That was new. "Um. What's wrong with your belly? Did you eat a flashlight or..."

Chris' jaw dropped and hung loosely. For a few moments, all he could do was blink rapidly and then stare. "You...you and him...serious? You're..." He said it. "Pregnant? What the..."

I look around confused. "What are you guys talking about?" I say, completely lost. "Katie wasn't at the beach because she forgot, remember?" I look at them all like they are stupid, not catching on to the tone of the room. I almost want to laugh, but I feel it would insult the others, who I thought were the lost ones. Looking at Katie I say "Right, Katie?"

"Uh, wrong!" Chris said. "Hale, read our expressions. Read hers. Do we look like we're messing around? I wish you're right and that any second we'll burst into laughter at the look on your face, but sadly that's not gonna happen."
