I hold Davian tight when I hear pounding on stairs coming up to us. When a girl comes in and falls on the floor, my first instinct is to take her hand and let her up as fast as possible. I smile when I see that a human- well I guess demigod- was under the hood as opposed to another skeleton or some other monster. "Your name Macy?"

"Yeah, don't wear it out." she said while getting up and brushing the dust off her cloak. She looked up at the people around her. Her legs moved before she did and the next thing she knew she was hugging Davian with tears running down her face. "I'm so sorry. I don't blame you if you hate me forever. How could I just abandon my little brother like that? My 1 year old brother!" she just stood there, her head on his shoulder. "Um I'm technically 15." he added. "Oh shut up." she said giving a bit of a laugh. "Can you forgive me?" she said looking up at him. (Wow i have to look up at my 1 year old brother...weird)

Davian thought about that question for a second. He naturally would forgive her. He always would. But his trust in her had been a little shaken. But as he looked down at her, she was pretty shaken too. "Of course... Michelle." he said giving her a smirk. She turned around at him and said, "If i wasn't in tears and totally drained, you'd be dead, brother or not." Davian go thte feeling she meant it.

I smile, step back, and let the siblings have their moment. I pray silently that this means she's coming with us, which was pretty much confirmed when she apologized, and Davian forgave her. My smile brightens, and I stand back with Aaron quietly. This poor little family has gone through a whole lot in this past year, so I was happy to see one happy moment with the two siblings.

Davian stepped back to Kallie and held his hand out to her. "Macy, this is Kallie and Aaron. I couldn't have found you without them." he said smiling.
Macy walked over and sized both of them up. "I've seen worse." she said with a smirk. "Relax, I'm not going to rip your head off...yet."
Davian prayed that she wouldn't do anything to weir until they all got to know each other. Why did she have to be sooo intimidating?

I smile as I accessed by Macy and take Davian's hand as he gestured to me. "I'm glad that you're alright, Miss Macy. Your brother's been awful worried 'bout you. And thank you for not ripping off my head for the time bein,' " I smirk at her and squeeze her brother's hand.

"Miss Macy. I like the sound of that. Henceforth everyone shall address me as Miss Macy." she said with a chuckle. "Now can we please this desolate ditch of death? Now that it isn't charming in it's own special way." she said turning to Queen Persephone.

"No, I agree with you. I'd get out while I can." Persephone said rolling her eyes at the place around her.

"Okay then, is shadow travel ready for transportation?" Davian asked Aaron.

Macy turned at the word shadow travel. "You're from the Hades cabin?" Macy said running up to Aaron. He looked exactly like the cliche Hades kid, but she wanted to make sure.

I look over at Aaron, not too excited about traveling that way again. Ever. But if I wanted to get out of this place, then we'd have to, I guess. "Thank you, Lady Persephone, for helping us find Macy. You've been a- well- a god," I say with a smile and small bow in her direction

"Anytime. Anything to spite my "husband"." she said with a grimace. "Now getting going before that crab returns."

"Okay guys... I guess were going home! Back to Camp Half-Blood." Davian said with relief. They had done it. They had saved Macy and everyone was still in one piece. Things were looking up. And then they were looking down. Very down...

"THAT ZEUS HAS THREATENED ME FOR THE LAST TIME!!!" a harsh voice boomed. Thundering footsteps clamored they're way up to where they were.

"Everyone hide! He's here!" Persephone said quickly, fear thick in her voice.

Davian seemed to freeze. No, they were so close. But nothing could delay the inevitable. Hades was back.

The voice almost made me scream, but I couldn't do it. I had to move. Now. I move behind a large chair in the corner, but the stairs told me that we had little time left. It takes me about ten seconds before I see Davian standing there like a big oaf. A string of curses come out my end, ending with, "...do you want to be turned into ash, Davian? Get your butt over here!" He's still standing there. I quickly run over, grab his arm, and drag him over behind the chair with me. We were dead meat. Dead, charcoaled, demigod meat.

Davian turned to Kallie with a worried expression. "Kallie, what do we do know?" He felt like a frightened child. What were they going to do? Who could save them now?

Macy ran behind a pillar with Aaron. "DO SOMETHING! BE A MAN!" she shouted at him. "Oh did we ever formally introduce ourselves? I'm Macy, sorry I forgot your name." she said smiling and holding out her hand.

When Davian asks me what to do, I look at Persephone in fear. She's just as scared-if not more scared- than I am. Suddenly, a plan emerged in my head. I knew what would have to happen if they were going to come out alive. I look at Davian quickly, flashing him a nervous half-smile. Then I take both his hands in mine and demand his complete focus. "Davian? Davian Vulpes, can you promise me something?" I half-say, half-whisper. I prayed to the gods that he would answer quickly. From what I could hear, the Lord of Death's footsteps were approaching faster than before.

OCC: soooooo sorry i haven't posted anything in like a month. I got so wrapped up in everything else that I couldn't find time sooooo sorry!

"I would promise you anything." he said, his eyes set with hard conviction. He knew that he trusted Kallie with all that he was. He put on a brave face and knew that if they died, he would die fighting for her life. He owed her that. But all he wanted at that moment was to not have to be there. To be back at the lake, sitting with Kallie and just enjoying her sweet presence. It pained him that that chance may never come again. His heart ached, but his mind was set. This was the way it would be. Him and her to the end.

I smiled and quickly answered his loving statement. "Davian, when I say 'run', you will run. If I say grab Aaron an Macy and run, you do so. You listen to what I say and don't think. You do it. Can you do that for me?" I looked deep into his eyes and prayed that he would listen and nit object. I knew a way to get them out alive, and I was willing to try anything to save them, especially my Davian. The boy I met in Hephaestus. "Please?"

(it's all good! Just wanted to let you know that I'm leaving CHB this summer too. I feel bad, but I have to. So the quest may have to be shortened... I feel sooooooo bad.)

At first, Davian was ready to agree the moment she opened her mouth. But when she started talking, he knew that what she had planned was not as she said it. He knew hew to well. "Kallie, and what if you say run and leave me?" he choked out. This was to much. How could things have gotten to this point? He had only lived a short life, but was sure that not many others could say they've done what he'd done or been where he was right now. And they should be thankful. Things like this leave scars. You can't escape without a wound. And someone was going to get those scars. And he was not about to let it be Kallie.

In that moment Davian spoke to me, I knew that he wouldn't listen to me. But I had to try. I had to keep them alive. No matter what. "Davian, if I say to run and leave me, you will do it. I'll meet you back, I promise. I'm begging you. Please listen, love. I'll come back if I need to go." I wasntbsure if I was lying or not, but hades would be coming within ten seconds, so I needed to formulate another plan if I wasn't to be obeyed.

"No! Kallie I-"

"HONEY I'M HOME!" shouted an angry voice. Hades marched up the stairs, his eyes burning. "They're all selfish pigs!" he said sitting down on his thrown. It had not been a good day for him. First Hermes had delivered a message saying that Zeus wanted him. Never a fun sign. Then when he got there- wait. Hades' head jerked up. Had he heard something?
"Persephone dear! Where are you? Get over here NOW!"

"Yes O beloved?" she said sardonically.

"Dearest," he said matching her tone, "have you meet with any demigods lately? Perhaps even one of Zeus? BECAUSE I CAN SMELL THAT PETRIFYING STENCH A MILE AWAY!!!!!"

Davian felt anger swell when Hades said that about Macy. He knew what he had to do. he had to let go. "Kallie, I'm sorry. But just get us out of here. We have to save everyone. If you don't meet us back, I'm will come find you. I promise."

Macy almost fell over in shock. She looked over at Davian who was whispering with Kallie. He looked over at her and mouthed, "we have a plan."

When Hades comes in, I stop breathing completely. Then Davian says that it's okay to do my plan. I knew that it would be unlikely that I'd ever be bckat Camp. So I smile and stroke his beautiful blonde hair. "I love you,Davian Vulpes." And with that final moment we may ever have together,I kiss him one last time. Then it's time for action. "When I slam the door,you two wait five seconds and take the quickest way out. Ask Persephone." I then quickly get up and reveal myself to the Lord of Darkness.

I coughed a few times for good measure and prayed to Apollo for good acting skills. "Uh oh, this ain't Ketucky," I began. "Excuse me mister and madam. I am a new deivery girl for Poseidon Pizza in NewYork. Could you tell me howto get to Nashville from here? I'm supposed t drop off an order to the 'I Love Only All the Earth and Olympus-Bound Gods' Rally andI think got lost." His face grew even redder at themention of Poseidon and Olympus and not himself. After yelling many Greek curses at me, he grabbed a spear and came toward me. My knees shook with such force that could cause an earthquake around the world.

Then the chase began. "YOU little EXCUSE for a being! I shall send YOU to the depths of TARTARAUS for this you --" I darted s fast as I could outt he door, being especially sure to slam it on my way out. Hades smply dissolved through. If they were to live,hey had to go now.

When Hades chased after Kallie Davian ran out and called out for everyone else. "Guys we've got to go! Aaron get us out of here!" But before they left, Davian walked up to Persephone.
"Lady Persephone, I'm asking, no, I'm begging you to help Kallie in whatever way you can. Please!'
"You are a demigod of true character Davian Vulpes. You placed your sisters safety over your own desires and for that I will do whatever I can. You have my word. Now go before the Lord of the hotheads comes back." she added smirking.

With everyone holding hands, Davian took one finale look towards the door that Kallie had ran through. Goodbye Kallie, I love you. Then they slipped into darkness and headed home.

"Hades come back here!!!" Persephone fake cried as she ran out after him. She had to save that girl. She had risked everything for a guy sister she had never even met. And she had thought that all the real heroes had died out a long time ago. She was happy to be proven wrong. I'm coming Kallie, hold on.

Hades was in a particularly bad mood today. And it didn't help me at all that I didn't realize his ability to disappear and reappear into shadows. It had been maybe three minutes, and I was ready to give up. Not that it'd matter if I did at this point. I just needed to get Dav, Macy, and Aaron out. I hoped that they were at least close, which I was pretty sure they were. If anything happened to them while I was supposed to be watching over them, I could never live with myself.

"Where are you Kallie?" he purred in the dark. As the shadows appear to grow longer and the hope of daylight began to vanish. "I know you're here somewhere." he growled at her. He shifted in the dark, as he shadow travelled and kept an eye on the demigod. Hiding in the shadows and playing with her mind.

Persephone stormed up to Hades. "Hades love, get your lovely self away from that girl right now!!!!" She hoped that taking the more offensive approach would get to him. She never really yelled at him, just grumbled of whined. So Persephone was hoping the shock factor would help. You would think that someone who has lived with the guy for thousands upon thousands of years would know him a little better.

My name rang out in the shadows. "I'm done for." I whispered to myself. "Say goodbye to life as you know it, girl." Wait. He knew my name. I'm pretty sure I never said it. "Why me? What did I do wrong?" I whisper a little louder. He was still there waiting to attack.

Persephone caught his attention, as he was about to strike the girl dead. "What about her?" he asked. For ages, she was the only one who kept demigods in his realm safe, and for ages, he tried to kill everyone of them. So where was the surprise here? "You expect me to leave her alone easily?" he asked, tone a little higher and authority mixed into. He watched at the girl, Kallie walk around. the mere mortal doesn't have a chance, and no game was there for him.
