I kept walking. I was walking slowly, to have more time with Shelbie. " What's your favorite place?" I asked, hating the silence.

"Hmm...I would say the beach. I like to have picnics and swim in that salt water. What about you?" asked Shelbie. She waited for a reply.

" Hum... Oh, that place I went in greece. I was there with my adoptive mother. She wanted to show me the place. I got lost in the city and ended up at a place very sunny. I was feeling well there and stayed a day and a night before she found me" I laugh, remebering when I watch the sun rise. " I think I saw my father. A sign? I don't know."

"That's awesome. I like Greece as well. Although, the Parthenon. Bor-ing!" said Shelbie. She put the emphasis on her last word. She wasn't one for any of that Athens stuff.

I laugh " I guess she wasn't liking it too. I never went to the parthenon." I said, remembering all the time I passed in front of it, never going in it. " Oh well.What's your.. favorite color?"

"Hm... I like the color blue. What about you? What's your favorite color." asked Shelbie. She waited for Takeo's reply. She was thinking of something to say.

" Good question.. Turquoise. I like it. It is not green, not blue. It's perfect." I smiled at her. I was almost sure she would say blue.

"That's cool! I also like sea-green. What's your favorite number?" asked Shelbie. She smiled and thought, Duh, I like sea-green! She smiled again.

"Twelve or thirteen. I like the number twelve and well, thirteen is like my lucky number. I don't know why. It just is." said Shelbie.

I laugh again " Well, you got cool number! What's.... your favorite class at school?" I asked, sicne it was kindda my turn to ask something.

Shelbie smiled. She smiled when Takeo looked at her. She looked into his eyes. She couldn't wait until her cast was off.

Shelbie noticed that he was walking slower. She didn't care because it meant more time with him. She smiled at him. She thought about when she would get the cast off.
