Just a walk {PIP}

ALISSA~MARIE~FOLEY
Alissa had her two swords attached to her belt, still warm from training. She had learned more today, which was her goal everyday. Why was today so much more...different? Alissa had been taught by boys before, but.... why different?! The thought tugged on her. When Jake asked her to go on a walk with him her only answer was yes. Alissa wasn't used to this feeling, she never trusted anyone before.

I took some deep breaths and looked at Alissa. My palms felt sweaty. My stomach ached. I felt like I wanted to scream, so why in the world did I ask Alissa on a walk?!? I felt like an idiot. Apperently Alissa was nervous too, I could tell by the way she wasn't talking. "So..." I say, feeling even more of an idiot. THAT was my conversation? I made a mental note to ask Jessie later about conversation with girls.

Alissa smiled and looked at Jake. "So... do you go to the forest on walks a lot?" she asked nervously. Great now you look like a total idiot!!! Alissa thought critically. She was one to judge herself, and tear herself down for it. Alissa never, ever, had a thought of .. dating. The word was unknown to her. Dating... weird.

"Yea, I come here a lot to clear my head and to just...enjoy nature." Enjoy nature? What was I thinking, saying that out loud. I sounded like a girl. Wow. "What about you?" I was tempted to hold Alissa's hand...but mine was all sweaty. She'd probobly think I was an idiot...witch is how I felt.

Alissa nodded simply. "Not really. I'm usually on guard duty or something. I would if I had more time." she said looking back at Jake. Alissa smiled at him. There was tension between them, she had to break it. "Jake I need to tell you something." she said stopping.

"W-What?" I kind of wanted to make a move...I hope that Alissa woudn't tell me that she had a boyfriend. That would really cruch me, but I was...ok at hiding my feelings.

Alissa took a deep breath. "I like you as a friend, but well how do I put this? I want to be more than friends!!!" she said. Alissa blushed crimson. She was terrible at talking about feelings. Terrible!! "I'm not used to trusting someone like this. I have a feeling I can trust you, a feeling I don't usually have." Alissa added.

"I-I" Now, I'm sure that the normal guy would go up to the girl and kiss her..but I had only just met Alissa today. I could feel my face turning bright red, and I wanted to say something smart and romatic...but it didn't come out right. "Uhhh...me to" I really felt stupid now. What kind of person said that?

Alissa smiled brightly. Jake was cute when he was panicking. "You need to chill, I know something that would help." she said with a smirk. Then, to her braveness, she kissed him. Yep, bam!

Alissa kissed me...I had practectly melted into a puddle right then and there. It was strange, to feel someone elses lips agents mine...but in a good way. I kissed Alissa back, and when we both releced, I said "So does this mean were dating now?"

Alissa shrugged, her face still red. "I thinks so..." she said with a smile. "I'm sorry, was that to straight forward?" Alissa asked looking up at him.

"No, it's just...I'm new to this whole 'relationship' thing, thats all." Wow, a girlfriend...that was a first. I was awayse to be told to be the one that would grow old with lot's of friends, but never a girlfriend. "What about you? Have you ever dated before?"

Alissa shook her head. "No, I told you before, I don't really trust people. Except you and my brother." she said looking at him. "So we are on the same page..." Alissa added.

"Well,it depends on what you say if I trust what you say or not." I look at Alissa. "But I'd trust everything you say." I still felt a little nervous. I took a deep breath of fresh air and tried to clear my mind.

Alissa smiled, that's a compliment right? She could tell Jake was still nervous."Follow me, I want to show you something." Alissa said gripping his wrist. She ran and stopped at a waterfall. Alissa smiled at the glittering water. She let go of Jake's wrist and jumped off the rock on the waterfall. She resurfaced and looked up."Come on jump in!" Alissa said with a smile.

I smiled, the waterfall was beutiful. "Shoudn't I put on a bathing suit or something?" I'd been dunked underwater before just wearing my regular clothers. I didn't like the way that my clothes stuck to my skin. Before I knew it, my foot had slipped and I slid into the pool. I surfaced and pulled Alissa in as well.

Alissa smiled as Jake fell in too."Or you could fall in like that. Whatever works." she said with a laugh. Alissa stood up in the shallow water. She was soaked, at least her clothes weren't see through!
I forgot! I'm posting now!

I laughed. "Usualy, I'm not all that clumsy...I don't know what's gotten into me today." I regreted saying the last part, I knew what had happend to me today. I had found the love of my life.

Alissa smiled and went back on shore. "Now I'm cold, I didn't think this through." she said. Alissa gripped her shoulders and dried out her hair.

"Well, if I knew how I would dry you off with the sun's warm ray's...but I'm sure that I wasn't born with that gift. I've tried before." I felt bad about Alissa shivering. I got out of the water too. "Let's go back to camp and get some dry clothes on, it's not good to be walking around like this for a wile."

Alissa nodded and got back up. "Okay, when will I see you again?" she asked. Alissa looked at him with her blue eyes. She wanted to see Jake again soon. Now that Alissa met him, she didn't want to leave his side.

"Trust me, it will be soon." I already had a plan for when Alissa and I would meet up again. All that I would need is some help from her cabin mates...and perhaps my brother.
