Alissa came into the infermary and sat down on an open chair. Her wound still hurt, but not bad. Jake seemed to think she was dead or something close to that. Alissa moved her shirt sleeve up to look at the marks that were still bleeding. She never missed. Alissa was still beating herself up about that, not the fact that she was losing blood fast.

I had to hurry if I didn't want Alissa to bleed to death. The wound wasn't all that big, but it was deep witch was as bad as it being big. I hurried around, anoying my throbbing leg. I got some anaceptic and bandages, and then whent back over to Alissa, cleaning the wound and then wrapping it up with the bandages. "There, how does that feel?" I asked her.

Alissa looked at her bandaged wound then at Jake. "Better." she admitted. Alissa looekd at her shirt, torn and bloodstained. She closed her eyes for a second then opened them. "Thanks Jake." Alissa said with a soft smile.

I gave a sigh of relief. Alissa would live to see another day. Before she could say anything else, or ask what I was doing, I found some of the painkillers that they kept at camp and took one. Only one. If I took more than one or 2 a day, than I could become addicted, and then I'd die from them, and dying from medicine was not on my to do list. "Ok, glad you feel better." I say, after taking the pill. I go and sit on a bed next to Alissa, witch is probobly the best thing for me to do at the moment.

Alissa nodded. "Yes, I told you that. I'm fine, you healed me well." she with a soft smile. Alissa was tired, would she have to stay in the infermary? SHe hoped not, her bed at cabin two was so much more comfortable.

I gave yet another sigh of relief. " It's getting late. Do you think you could stay here the night so tomarrow, I can make sure that the wound isn't infected? If it's infected, that woudn't be good." I said. Even though her bed in the Hera cabin was probobly more comphrtable than this, it would have to do.

Alissa nodded and slipped into a cot next to Jake's seat. She laid a sheet over her body and winced slightly. Jake was right, her wound was serious. She should listen to him more often.

I gave a small smile, and then slipped into the bed next to Alissas. "I'll spend the night in here, with you. It's probobly best that I'm not moving around currently either." I said, pulling up the blankets around me.

Alissa smiled and closed her eyes. She soon drifted off into sleep. Alissa felt better knowing that she, and Jake, would be okay. On a scale of one to ten today was a five, but not bad.

I felt myself drift into sleep, knowing that Alissa would be ok, for now. Sleep was the only thing that I had needed now. Just to relax. The quiet. Most people my age, loved sleep because it was...sleep. I enjoy sleep for other reasons.

The next morning Alissa woke up at dawn. The sun had an odd way of coming through the infermary. It almost made it seem... normal. Not sad. Alissa walked over to a sink and washed off her face. She felt better after having water on her face. Alissa walked over to Jake's bed and poked him.

I opend my eyes tierdly. "Comin...mother..." I said, only to realize that it was Alissa who poked me. I felt a little emberrissed. I sat up. "Oh, sorry." I rubbed my eyes, hopefully to get the sleep out. "Sit down, and I'll check out if the wound is infected our not." I told Alissa, streaching out my back.

Alissa smiled and moved her shirt sleeve up to reveal the wrapped wound. It still hurt, she hoped it wasn't infected. Alissa didn't wantt o have to stay in the infermary, no matter how bad her injury was. It just wasn't going ot happen.

Alissa rolled her eyes. "I think I'll be fine." she said glancing at Jake. She had walked about a mile from the forest to the infermary, while bleeding from her open wound. Alissa would be fine.

I got to the edge of the bandage. The wound had healed, and had a scab on it witch was good. On the down side, it was slightly red around it. "It's slightly infected, but it will be ok. Things like that happen a lot. It being a little infected, I mean." I told her. "It's just not something that we can help."

I shook my head. "No, it's only a miner infection, and should be ok in a few day's time." I told her. "So your free to go, just watch out. Don't use that arm very much. You woudn't want to re-open the wound."

I didn't want to prevent Alissa from training. It was practicly all she did. But, if she did start training, then there was a chance that her wound would re-open and then she'd be stuck in the infermery another night. "I know you like training, but it's only for a few days. It's...it's for the best." I told her with a sigh.
