"Relax they know me. My mum owns this place." I shouted over the screaming punk music pouring out the speakers. "With any luck she may be here." I said taking Penelope's hand and leading her through the leather paint splattered flaps covering the door to the actual club.

My eyes widened. "Woah woah....wait. Your mom? As in...Euterpe?" I asked, raising an astonished eyebrow.

"Yeah. My mum. Euterpe. What? You actually thought she was all classical music?" I snorted loudly as we entered the strobe lighted club, our movements became refracted as we moved among the throng of punks. Literally.

I shook my head. "No, I just didn't expect a club in New York," I said over the rather loud music. I kind of stood out a bit with my red hair. A lot of people around me had black hair, so I stuck out like a sore thumb.

"Don't worry love. You look sexy!" I shouted pulling her over to the drinks table. "What do you want? Anything it's on the house." I asked her.

I blushed a deep shade of crimson. Thankfully, because of the strobe lights, it probably wasn't as visible. "Just a water is fine," I said, shrugging my shoulders.

"One water and one Ramone!" I called to the bartender. I looked at Penelope. "Has anyone ever told you how good you look in strobe lights?"

I waved my hand in a way to dismiss the comment. "Pshh....I get that all the time," I joked with a grin.

"Here." I said handing her the water. I downed the Ramone in a couple gulps. It's warmth and spark ripped through me.

I took a few sips of my water before I set the glass down. "So, is your mom here?" I asked curiously. Even though I'd been at camp seven years, I'd only met three of the gods (including Aphrodite).

I fumbled clumsily with my hair. "So..are you planning to have me meet her?" I asked with a slightly nervous expression.

Once we were to the VIP section I saw a basically glowing woman who was tenfold better looking then me. "Mum?"

"Wes, mah boy. Come to your mother." She said over the music. I walked over to her, "Mum how much have you had to drink?"
"Not enough!" She exclaimed with a happy yell after that. I turned to Penelope, "Let's get out of here."
"Is that your girlfriend?" Mum called. "Uh..." I looked at Penelope hopefully.

I glanced between the two, seeing Wesley's hopeful look. I smiled faintly. "Yeah," I said with a nod. "I'm Penelope," I said, deciding to leave out the 'Daughter of Zeus' part.

I hung my head and studied my shoes my face a rich maroon.

I grinned. "Do all mother's do that?" I pointed out. But I shrugged my shoulders. I lifted Wesley's chin with my index finger and gently pressed my lips to his.

I was totally surprised when she kissed me. I had totally thought she would snort and saying something witty. But I wrapped my arms around her waist just as I had been doing all night and pressed her body tight to mine.

I smiled into the kiss, letting my arms drape on his shoulders. I pulled back, my gaze darting over to Euterpe. I then looked back at Wesley with a grin. "I like your mom," I said simply.

Euterpe clapped her hands. "Bravo son. You may go now. I have my own man now...not your loser father."
"Love you too mum." I grasped Penelope's hand as I pulled her out of the hot room.
