I rolled my eyes. "Well, not that...I mean this," I said, gesturing around to the small area we were currently sharing. I looked up at him with a small smile.

I kissed her forehead and began singing an Irish lullaby, my voice ringing out through the air I closed my eyes. Then a rap on the window stopped my singing. "Hey what the hell are you damn kids doing out here? Get the hell outta here an' do that. Damn kids." He snorted rapping on the window some more. I got up and crawled to the front seat. "Sorry love."

I frowned sadly. "Should we just go to a hotel?" I asked curiously.

"That'd be so much easier." I said rubbing my back. I pulled out of the place and hightailed to the nearest nice hotel. Of course in New York that was easy to find. "Oh crap I don't have any of my own money." I sighed going to surprise her in a few minutes.

I shook my head. "It's fine. I've got money," I said. I rummaged through my bag and pulled out my wallet. I had enough for at least one night here.

I frowned. "I thought you said you had no money," I pointed out in a questioning tone.

I looked at the wallet in his hands and I grinned widely. "I've got to say...I'm extremely attracted to you right now," I stated, nodding my head slowly.

"Hello. Welcome to the Holiday Inn. How may we be of your service?" A particularly perky woman asked. "Give me the nicest suite you got. With a view." I added looking at Penelope.
"How old are you two?" She asked skeptically.

I smiled, rolling my eyes. "Well not much younger than you I suppose. You just look radiant! If you don't mind me saying so, you barely look 27!" I said, trying to draw away from the question. "What kind of skin care do you use? Because nothing I find seems to work," I added, shaking my head in disgust at the lack of effectiveness of...skin creams..

I frowned a moment then sighed sadly. "I'm sorry...it's just we don't have anywhere to stay tonight. We were going to stay in his car but..." I let my voice trail off.
Flattery didn't work...time for pity.

"Honey, you don't have to use pity with, I was only curious to see how old you two are." She smiled and charged one of Stone's cards. "Here's your roomkey." She started to hand the key to me but as I was about to take it she decided to hand it to Penelope.

I blinked my surprise. "Oh, well thank you," I said, taking the room key with a smile. I looked over at Wesley with a grin. "I've got the power," I said with an amused expression. I then skipped off. My red hair and my worn black bag swung behind me as I went. I gave the receptionist a friendly wave before motioning for Wesley to follow.

I looked at the room key and saw that our floor was floor nine. I smiled and walked over to the elevators. There were four, two on each side that faced eachother. I pressed on the buttons and waited for the ding. I glanced over at Wesley, fiddling with the room key. "Let's see...after one date I'm already in your clothes and headed up to a hotel room. Well, this doesn't look very good for me. Now all I need is a red dress and a street corner," I said with a grin.

I laughed lightly, rolling my eyes. The elevator gave a ding and the doors opened. I wriggled out of Wesley's grip and stepped on. I pressed the button with the number
"9" on it and held the doors open button so Welsey didn't get left on the ground floor.
