My face turned a deep shade of crimson and I averted my gaze. "That's kind of why I answers 'yes' to your mom's question. But I mean I'll understand if you don't want me to be. we've only been on one date and you've broken your knuckles, watched me electrocute my former best friend, and learned I was a murderer all in one night. So I'll understand if..." I realized I was rambling and I let my voice fade off as I rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly.

I put my hand behind her head and pulled it in towards mine and I just rested my forehead on hers. My golden red hair merged with her red hairs it fell into my eyes a bit. "I wouldn't even mind if you were a axe murdered." I said looking into her eyes.

I grinned, feeling my cheeks flush a bit. "Axes aren't my thing...everytime I hear the word axe I think of a lumberjack. And I can't really picture myself in plaid chopping down a tree and yelling timber," I joked.

I grinned and gave a fake wince. "Might be hard...especially since I plan on still knowing you when I'm old and wrinkly," I said. I then frowned and stared at him seriously. "I need you to make me a promise..." I said in a completely serious tone, which was rare for me.

I opened my mouth like I was going to say something but I closed it quickly, shaking my head. I then sighed, staring down at my shoes. "Just...don't break my heart, okay? I don't think I can take anymore heartbreak for a while," I stated.

I smiled. "That should be interesting. By the way you'v-" my voice was cut off when u was tackled. I heard a snarl and looked up to see a rather angry chimera. I sent a jolt if socrt ligtning into it. The chimera staggered backwards, but didn't dissolve into dust. I scowled and scrambled for my bag. I winced in pain as the monster clasped it's jaws on my leg. "I could use a little help here!" I called.

I pulled out my dagger and with a lucky shot I threw it and it hit the monster sqaure in the eye and it dissolved drenching Penelope and I with dust, and for some odd reason monster slobber. "Eww...gross."

I winced and tried standing up, only to fall back to the ground in the searing pain that shot through my leg. "That chimera had quite a grip..." I said through gritted teeth. The people around us, unknowing and confused, stared at Wesley and I with side eyes. I scowled. "Nothing to see here!" I called, giving a few dismissive waves of my hand.

I stretched out my leg as much as I could. My gray skinny jeans were stained with my own blood that poured from the wound. Five, large puncture wounds showed through the torn, jean fabric. "Man...being a demigod sucks sometimes.." I muttered.
